Oliver W. Mills House

The Captain Benjamin Allyn II House, also known locally as the Thomas Allyn House, is a historic house at 119 Deerfield Road in Windsor, Connecticut. Built in the mid-18th century or possibly earlier, it is a well-preserved example of a Colonial era brick house. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Timothy Dwight Mills House is a historic house at 184 Deerfield Road in Windsor, Connecticut. Built about 1833, it is a well-preserved local example of transitional Federal/Greek Revival architecture executed in brick. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Windsor Meadows State Park is a public recreation area on the west side of the Connecticut River in the town of Windsor, Connecticut. The state park occupies three largely undeveloped sections measuring 48, 19, and 88 acres (from north to south) located between railroad tracks and the river. Park activities include picnicking, fishing, boating, hiking, and biking.

The Captain John Bissell Memorial Bridge carries I-291 over the Connecticut River, connecting the towns of Windsor, Connecticut and South Windsor, Connecticut. There is a pedestrian crossing on the bridge on the westbound, upstream side.

The Islamic Center of Connecticut is a mosque located in Windsor, Connecticut serving the Muslim community of Hartford County. Its Enfield cemetery is believed to be the only Islamic cemetery in New England that is meant only for Muslims. (However, there have been separate Muslim burial plots associated with other cemeteries previously, including in Worcester, Massachusetts and Biddeford, Maine.)
