Jacksonville High School (JHS) is a secondary public school located in Jacksonville, Arkansas for students in grades nine through twelve. JHS serves students in the Jacksonville and McAlmont communities and is administered by the Jacksonville North Pulaski School District (JNPSD). The school was previously in the Pulaski County Special School District. In 2007, Jacksonville requested to become separated from the PCSSD and form its own school district, but a final decision had not been made on that request.

The Land's End Plantation, also known as James Robert Alexander House, is a historic plantation at 1 Land's End Land in rural southeastern Pulaski County, Arkansas, off Arkansas Highway 161 south of Scott. It is a 5,000-acre (2,000 ha) working plantation, located on the banks of the Arkansas River. The main plantation complex includes a 1925 Tudor Revival house, designed by John Parks Almand, and more than 20 outbuildings. AR 161, which passes close to the main house, is lined by pecan trees planted about 1900 by James Robert Alexander, the plantation owner.The house and a 54-acre (22 ha) portion of the estate was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Little Rock Air Force Base (IATA: LRF, ICAO: KLRF, FAA LID: LRF) is a United States Air Force base located approximately 17 miles (27 km) northeast of Little Rock, Arkansas. Little Rock AFB is the primary C-130 Hercules training base for the Department of Defense, training C-130 pilots, navigators, flight engineers, and loadmasters from all branches of the US military in tactical airlift and aerial delivery. It is home to C-130H and C-130J aircraft, as well as the C-130 Center of Excellence (i.e., schools for C-130H and C-130J crews). The host unit at Little Rock AFB is the 19th Airlift Wing (19 AW), assigned to the Air Mobility Command's 18th Air Force. The wing provides the Department of Defense the largest C-130 Hercules transport fleet in the world, supplying humanitarian airlift relief to victims of disasters, as well as airdropping supplies and troops into the heart of contingency operations in hostile areas. Other organizations at Little Rock AFB include the 189th Airlift Wing of the Arkansas Air National Guard, and the C-130 division of the U.S. Air Force Weapons School. All of these organizations fly the C-130 Hercules. Little Rock Air Force Base is the fourth largest employer in the state of Arkansas, with a local economic impact of $813.6 million.

KNFR is a Christian radio station licensed to Gravel Ridge, Arkansas, broadcasting on 90.9 MHz FM. The station serves the northeastern Little Rock Metropolitan Area, and is owned by Fellowship Christian Church.

Jacksonville is a city in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States, and a suburb of Little Rock. As of the 2010 census, the population of the city was 28,364. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area with 729,135 people as of 2014. The city is named for Nicholas Jackson, a landowner who deeded the land for the railroad right-of-way to the Cairo & Fulton Railroad in 1870. The community evolved from the settlement surrounding the railroad depot, eventually incorporating in 1941. In 1941, construction began on the Arkansas Ordnance Plant (AOP), which served as the primary facility for the development of fuses and detonators for World War II. Following the war, AOP ceased operations and the land was sold for commercial interests, including the development of the Little Rock Air Force Base in 1955. Today, portions of AOP still remain, including the Arkansas Ordnance Plant Guard House, which is on the National Register of Historic Places and the Jacksonville Museum of Military History. Despite Pulaski County being an Arkansas county that is not a "dry" county, as it allows the sales of beer and liquor, the municipal limits of Jacksonville are "moist", as it does not allow the sales of alcohol in stores, but allows the sale of alcohol in some restaurants with special permits.

Cabot is the largest city in Lonoke County, Arkansas, United States, and a suburb of Little Rock. As of the 2010 census, the population of the city was 23,776, and in 2019 the population was an estimated 26,352, ranking it as the state's 19th largest city, behind Jacksonville. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Jacksonville Commercial Historic District encompasses a 1-1/2 block section of 1st Street in Jacksonville, Arkansas, between Main Street and 2nd Street. The area contains six commercial buildings, constructed between 1925 and 1962, a period when the railroad was an important element of the city's growth. (The railroad tracks lie across 1st Street from the commercial strip. The buildings are mostly single-story brick or stucco buildings with vernacular style.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

The Arkansas Ordnance Plant Guard House is a historic military structure on the grounds of the Jacksonville Museum of Military History in Jacksonville, Arkansas. It is a square wood-frame structure measuring 9 by 9 by 12 feet (2.7 m × 2.7 m × 3.7 m), mounted on metal skids for ease of relocation. It is presently mounted on a concrete pad to the right of the main museum building, believed to be not far from its original location. It was built in 1941 as part of the facilities of the World War II-era Arkansas Ordnance Plant, a facility that produced fuses and detonators in Jacksonville. After the war it was moved to 1112 MacArthur Drive, and it was moved to the museum in 2006.

Jacksonville North Pulaski School District (JNPSD) is a public school district system located in Jacksonville, Arkansas, USA. The district serves the city of Jacksonville and a portion of northeastern Pulaski County. Upon detachment from Pulaski County Special School District July 1, 2016, the district assumed operation of one high school, one middle school, and seven elementary schools.

KPZK-FM (102.5 MHz, better known locally as Praise 102.5 FM) plays a gospel format in the Little Rock metropolitan area. It is under ownership of The Last Bastion Station Trust, LLC. The station's studios are located in West Little Rock, and the transmitter tower is located in Cabot. Former sister station KPZK (at 1250 AM), which initially shared its call sign, remained with Citadel Broadcasting (now part of Cumulus Media) when KPZK-FM & another former sister station (now KVLO) were transferred to the trust. KPZK (AM) has simulcast another Cumulus station, KIPR, ever since; it changed its call sign to KFOG in 2019 to warehouse the historic call sign of a Cumulus station in San Francisco. On July 3, 2012, KVLO split from its simulcast with KPZK-FM and changed to an adult hits format.

The McCraw Cemetery is a historic cemetery in Jacksonville, Arkansas. It is located in a wooded area on the city's southeastern outskirts, well south of the Military Road (Arkansas Highway 264), and west of the Military Mobile Homes. It has 37 marked graves, of which ten are of children. The markers date from 1841 to 1937, and include some of the first settlers of northern Pulaski County. The cemetery, a family plot of the McCraw family, was lost for many years, and is now under the care of the Reed's Bridge Historical Society.The cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Cabot High School (CHS) is a public high school located in Cabot, Arkansas. The school serves students in grades ten through twelve and is administered by Cabot Public Schools, which serves the city and most of northern Lonoke County. The district, and therefore the high school's boundary, includes the communities of Cabot, Austin, and Ward.
