Shanghai Disneyland (Chinese: 上海迪士尼乐园; Pinyin: Shànghǎi díshìní lèyuán, Shanghainese: Zaon-he Diq-zy-nyi Loq-yoe) is a theme park located in Chuansha New Town, Pudong, Shanghai, China, that is part of the Shanghai Disney Resort. The park is operated by Disney Parks, Experiences and Products and Shanghai Shendi Group, through a joint venture between The Walt Disney Company and Shendi. Construction began on April 8, 2011. The park opened on June 16, 2016. The park operated in its first half-year with a visitor attendance of 5.60 million guests.The park covers an area of 3.9 square kilometres (1.5 sq mi), costing 24.5 billion RMB, with Shendi group holding 57% and Disney holding the remaining 43%. The park currently has eight themed areas: Mickey Avenue, Gardens of Imagination, Fantasyland, Treasure Cove, Adventure Isle, Tomorrowland, Toy Story Land, and Zootopia.

Shanghai Disney Resort (Chinese: 上海迪士尼度假区) is a themed resort in Pudong, Shanghai, China. The resort opened to the public on June 16, 2016. It is the first Disneyland in mainland China. It is also the sixth Disney resort worldwide, after Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. The resort features Shanghai Disneyland, an entertainment district, two themed hotels, recreational facilities, a lake and associated parking and transportation hubs. Additional phases will see the development of two additional theme parks at the resort. The site will cover 390 hectares (963 acres) in Pudong, or approximately three times the size of Hong Kong Disneyland, at a cost of RMB 24.5 billion (US$3.7 billion) for the new theme park and an additional RMB 4.5 billion (US$0.7 billion) to build other aspects of the resort, totaling RMB 34 billion (US$5.5 billion). The Walt Disney Company owns 43 percent of the resort; the majority 57 percent is held by Shanghai Shendi Group, a joint venture of three companies owned by the Shanghai government.

Disneytown is a shopping, dining, and entertainment complex at the Shanghai Disney Resort in Pudong, Shanghai, China. It is the Shanghai Disney Resort equivalent of the Downtown Disney complex at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California; Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida; Ikspiari at Tokyo Disney Resort, and Disney Village at Disneyland Paris, France. Disneytown is located near the two hotel resorts and Shanghai Disneyland Park. Along with dining and shops, the complex features the Walt Disney Grand Theatre, an Art Deco theatre that hosts the Mandarin Broadway version of The Lion King.There are numerous restaurants to choose from, from Blue Frog, to Coconut Paradise. The award-winning Crystal Jade offers a Chinese menu, and there is even a trendy bar by the name of Kokio Gastrobar where parents can relax after a long day in the park. At the heart of Disneytown is the Marketplace – with specialty shops with Disney merchandise, musicians and entertainers. Next to the Marketplace is an area called Spice Alley, offering a variety of Asian cuisine. Also near Disneytown is the resort's central lake area. The area includes a walking path and various gardens.

Toy Story Hotel is one of two hotels located within Shanghai Disney Resort. The hotel is themed after the Disney•Pixar franchise of Toy Story animated films. The hotel has two sections, the Sheriff Woody wing and the Buzz Lightyear wing. The hotel, when viewed from above, looks similar to an infinity symbol. Toy Story Hotel was opened in 2016 together with the rest of the resort.

Disney Resort (Chinese: 迪士尼; pinyin: Díshìní) is a station on Line 11 of the Shanghai Metro in Shanghai's Pudong New Area. Located within the Shanghai Disney Resort complex, it serves as the eastern terminus of Line 11 and also a transportation hub for travel to and within the resort area. The station opened on April 26, 2016, and is known for its design, including a blue color scheme, fantasy elements, and skylight roof, and is fully accessible.

Shanghai Disneyland Hotel is one of two hotels located within Shanghai Disney Resort. The hotel is in the Art Nouveau style, with Disney theming. The hotel is located across Wishing Star Lake from Shanghai Disneyland Park.

Kangxin Highway (Chinese: 康新公路; pinyin: Kāngxīn Gōnglù) is a station on Line 11 of the Shanghai Metro. It opened on December 19, 2015, as the terminus of an extension of Line 11 beyond Luoshan Road station. After the opening of the Shanghai Disney Resort, Disney Resort station became the new terminus of the line. This station used to be known as Hengxin Road (simplified Chinese: 横新路; traditional Chinese: 橫新路; pinyin: Héngxīn Lù).

Liuzao (Chinese: 六灶; pinyin: Liùzào; Shanghainese: loh4tsau3) is a town in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, located about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) west of Shanghai Pudong International Airport and more than 20 km (12 mi) southeast of Lujiazui. As of 2011, it has 2 residential communities (居委会) and 10 villages under its administration.

Zhangjiang Road (simplified Chinese: 张江路; traditional Chinese: 張江路; pinyin: Zhāngjiāng Lù) is the current eastern terminus station on Line 13 of the Shanghai Metro, and is the current eastern terminus of the line. Located at Zhongke Road and Zhangjiang Road in Pudong, Shanghai, the station opened with the phases 2 and 3 extensions of Line 13 on 30 December 2018.

Chuansha (Chinese: 川沙; pinyin: Chuānshā) is a station on Line 2 of the Shanghai Metro, located in the town of Chuanxinsha, Pudong. This station is part of the eastward extension from Guanglan Road to Pudong International Airport that opened on 8 April 2010.

Chuansha County (simplified Chinese: 川沙县; traditional Chinese: 川沙縣; pinyin: Chuānshā Xiàn, was a county located in the east of Shanghai until it was fully absorbed by the previously split Pudong New Area in 1993.

Xuelin Road (simplified Chinese: 学林路; traditional Chinese: 學林路; pinyin: Xuélín Lù) is a station on Line 13 of the Shanghai Metro, part of phase three of the line. Located at Zhongke Road and Gebaini Road in Pudong, Shanghai, the station opened with the phases 2 and 3 extensions of Line 13 on 30 December 2018.
