Pixley Falls

Pixley Falls State Park is a 375-acre (1.52 km2) New York state park in the town of Boonville in Oneida County, New York, United States. It is on New York State Route 46, 18 miles (29 km) north of Rome and six miles (9.7 km) southwest of Boonville, near the community of Hurlbutville.

Five Lock Combine and Locks 37 and 38, Black River Canal is a national historic district located in the Boonville Gorge Park at Boonville in Oneida County, New York. The district includes seven locks of the abandoned Black River Canal, including the five lock combine (locks 39 through 43). The locks are 90 by 15 feet (27.4 by 4.6 m) and could accommodate boats of 70 tons. The original locks were built about 1850 and rebuilt between 1887 and 1900. The canal closed in 1924.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Lansing Kill is a river in Oneida County in the state of New York. The river begins west of Alder Creek and flows into the Mohawk River approximately five miles (8.0 km) north of Westernville. Pixley Falls is a waterfall located on Lansing Kill by Hurlbutville. Lansing Kill flows through Pixley Falls State Park and it flows parallel to the old Black River Canal for much of its course.

The Black River Canal was a canal built in northern New York in the United States to connect the Erie Canal to the Black River. The canal had 109 locks along its 35-mile (56 km) length. Remains of several of the canal's former locks are visible along New York State Route 12 near Boonville. The Black River Canal Museum in Boonville is dedicated to the Black River Canal.

North Western is a hamlet located in the Town of Western in Oneida County, New York. It is located on the Mohawk River northeast of Delta Reservoir.
