Independence Palace (Belarusian: Палац Незалежнасцi, romanized: Palac Niezaliežnasci) is a palace in Minsk. The palace is located on Pieramožcaŭ Avenue, near the "BelExpo" exhibition centre and the State Flag Square, not far from Victory Park. The purpose of the Palace of Independence is to host important and landmark events, meetings of foreign delegations, honouring of big families, and the admittance of children to pioneer organisations.On 7 May 2013 Alexander Lukashenko said: The idea of this complex is to present the last biggest point of our independence visually. If you wish, this is a visual demonstration that Belarus is a country that has everything: the land, the coat-of-arms, and this Independence Palace.

Atlant (Belarusian Атлант) is a company, based in Minsk, Belarus, which makes household appliances, and also the brand of those appliances. It is one of the leading manufacturers of household appliances in the Commonwealth of Independent States.The company consists of three plants, the oldest and most important being the Minsk Refrigerator Plant (Belarusian: Мінскі завод халадзільнікаў), which produces household and commercial refrigerators and freezers, and by which name the entire enterprise is sometimes called. An abbreviated name for this plant is MZKh (Belarusian: МЗХ), and Minsk is the former brand used for the company's refrigerators. In addition, Atlant owns and operates the Baranovichi Machine-Tool Plant (which produces compressors, technological systems for plastics processing, and conveyor systems) and the Household Appliances Plant (which produces washing machines and other electrical appliances).

State Flag Square (Belarusian: Плошча Дзяржаўнага сцяга) is a square on Victors Avenue in the city of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. It sits between the avenue and the BelExpo Exhibition Center.

The Minsk Cathedral Mosque (Belarusian: Мінская Саборная Мячэць) is a mosque in Tsentralny District, Minsk, Belarus. It is the biggest mosque in the country.

Minsk State College of Music named after M.I. Glinka is a state musical college in Belarus, among the oldest and most respectable culture colleges in the country.

Minsk Hero City Obelisk is a 45 meters tall monument in the shape of an obelisk located on the Victors Avenue in Minsk, Belarus. The Obelisk is dedicated to the fact that Minsk was declared a Hero City on 26 June 1974 for its people's bravery during the Nazi occupation that lasted for 1,100 days. The Obelisk was opened in 1985 commemorating the 40th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The 2008 Minsk bombing took place just after midnight on 4 July 2008, in Minsk, Belarus and wounded 54 people. The explosion happened near the Hero City monument at a concert to celebrate Belarus' independence. The concert had been attended by Belarus' President, Alexander Lukashenko, who was not hurt and whose officials said was not the target.A second, larger bomb was discovered before the blast.No clear motive for the blast has been revealed. However, Belarusian authorities detained four members of the White Legion, a nationalist group, in the days following the attack. The probable perpetrators of the explosion were detained during the investigation of the 2011 Minsk Metro bombing.

Football Manege is a multi-use indoor arena in Minsk, Belarus. It is mostly used for football matches as well as for tennis competitions. The Manege holds 3,000 people and was opened in December 2002.

Maladzyozhnaya (Belarusian: Маладзёжная; Russian: Молодёжная) is a Minsk Metro station in Minsk, Belarus. It opened on July 3, 1995.

The Pit (Belarusian: Яма) is a monument dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust on the corner of Melnikayte and Zaslavskaya streets in Minsk, Belarus. The memorial is located at the site where on 2 March 1942 Nazi forces shot about 5,000 Jewish residents of the nearby Minsk Ghetto. The obelisk was created in 1947, and in 2000 a bronze sculpture titled "The Last Way" was added. It represents a group of victims descending the steps of the pit. The sculpture was created by the Belarusian artist and Chairman of the Jewish communities of Belarus, Leonid Levin, and the sculptor Elsa Pollak from Israel. On the obelisk is written in Russian and Yiddish, "To the shining memory of the bright days of five thousand Jews who perished at the hands of sworn enemies of humanity, German-fascist butchers, on 2 March 1942." When the reconstruction of the memorial was undertaken, no machinery was used and all the work was done by hand, a process which took eight years to complete. According to the original plan, the memorial supposed to be more detailed, but it was ultimately left with an expressive aestheticism and devoid of national colours. It includes figures of a violinist, children, and a pregnant woman, allowing for representation of collective character. The memorial has been a target of vandalism. Funeral assemblies are held at the memorial every year on 2 March.

The Minsk Ghetto was created soon after the German invasion of the Soviet Union. It was one of the largest in Belorussian SSR, and the largest in the German-occupied territory of the Soviet Union. It housed close to 100,000 Jews, most of whom were murdered in The Holocaust.

Frunzyenskaya (Belarusian: Фрунзенская; Russian: Фрунзенская) is a Minsk Metro station. It was opened on December 31, 1990. It is a transfer station to the Jubiliejnaja plošča station on the Awtazavodskaya line.
