Trinity Anglican School (TAS) is an Independent Anglican School in Far North Queensland, Australia which opened on 25 May 1983. It has three campuses set over two grounds. TAS White Rock caters for students from Kindergarten through to Year 12, and TAS Kewarra Beach serves students from Kindergarten to Year 6. In 2015, TAS White Rock opened the Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) building (S-Block) designed by Charles Wright Architects, for students in Years 7 to 12. The White Rock campus' also have the first Olympic-sized swimming pool in Cairns, completed in 2000. TAS White Rock is currently undergoing a comprehensive renovation programme of the older classrooms to bring it into line with that of the recent Science Block. The motto of the school is, Latin: Docentes Omnia Servare, transl. "teaching them to observe all things". Trinity Anglican School, in a tradition common to many schools in Britain and Commonwealth countries, has a house system that groups students across age- and academic-levels for certain co-curricular activities. Cultural, academic, and sporting activities are, in-part, channeled and encouraged through house involvement, and achievement rewarded by group recognition. The four houses of TAS and their corresponding colours are, Leichhardt – yellow / gold; Mulligan – red; Kennedy – green; and Dalrymple – blue. They are named after four prominent explorers who were active in North Queensland during European colonisation: Ludwig Leichhardt, James Venture Mulligan, Edmund Kennedy and George Elphinstone Dalrymple.

St Mary's Catholic College, (also known as St Mary's), is a Catholic co-educational secondary school in Cairns, Queensland, Australia.St Mary's is situated behind its sister school, St. Gerard Majella, with most St. Gerard's graduates attending St Mary's the following year. The school which was founded in 1986 holds annual "Tours of the College" where parents can view the facilities at the college, however an appointment can be made to have a tour at any time of the year. This school is operated by the Catholic Diocese of Cairns. In January 2014 the school opened a $450,000 fitness centre to help students pursue a career in fitness.

Fretwell Park is a cricket ground in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. The ground held a first-class match in 2006 when New Zealand Whites played Pakistan A as part of the 2006 Top End series. The match was abandoned due to rain, as a result it was decided to replace the match with two List A games between the sides. AFL is also played on this ground by the South Cairns Cutters.

It has four sporting houses (Trojan, Gemini, Pindar & Apollo) which are named after types of sugar cane as a reminder of the history of the land.

Bentley Park College is a co-educational, state run school located in Bentley Park (Queensland, Australia). The school educates students from preschool to 12th grade.In 1997 (term 4), the school opened as a primary school in Centenary Park called "Edmonton State School", after a nearby town. In 1998, it was renamed "Bentley Park College" with commencement in operation as a P–7 school, a corresponding name change which was subsequently reflected in the suburb of "Centenary Park", which was renamed "Bentley Park".In 2011, the school's original motto, "Achieving Tomorrow's Visions Today" was replaced with its current motto of "Aspire Learn Achieve".
