The Ayazma Mosque (Turkish: Ayazma Camii) is a mosque in the neighbourhood of Üsküdar in Istanbul, Turkey. It was commissioned by Ottoman sultan Mustafa III and built between 1757 and 1761. It is an example of the Ottoman Baroque style that was prevalent in the 18th century.

Salacak is a neighborhood in the Üsküdar municipality of Istanbul, Turkey. It is located on the Asian shore of the Bosporus, to the south of the historic center of Üsküdar. The word salacak means "bench for washing a corpse," but the name is reported to come from sala meaning "village" (language unspecified) with the Turkish suffix -cık, "small."The neighborhood's best-known landmark is the Maiden's Tower (Kız Kulesi), just offshore from Salacak in the Bosporus.

Damalis (Ancient Greek: Δάμαλις) was a coastal town of ancient Bithynia located on the Bosphorus near Chrysopolis. Polybius calls the town Bus or Bous (Βοῦς). According to Greek mythology, Io landed when she crossed the strait. The name Damalis means 'heifer', and Arrian, quoted by Eustathius, has a story about it.Its site is located at Kızkule in Asiatic Turkey.

The Şemsi Pasha Mosque (Turkish: Şemsi Paşa Camii, also spelled Chamsi-Pasha) is an Ottoman mosque located in the large and densely populated district of Üsküdar, in Istanbul, Turkey.

Üsküdar is an underground station and the western terminus of the M5 line of the Istanbul Metro in Üsküdar. It is located beneath Üsküdar Square, near the Bosporus in the Mimar Sinan neighborhood. Connection to trans-Bosporus Marmaray commuter rail service is available from Üsküdar station as well as IETT city buses and municipal ferries from Üsküdar pier. The station consists of an island platform with two tracks. Since the M5 is an ATO line, protective gates on each side of the platform open only when a train is in the station. Üsküdar station was opened on 15 December 2017, together with eight other stations to Yamanevler.

Üsküdar railway station is an underground railway station located beneath Üsküdar square in Istanbul. It was opened on 29 October 2013 along with the new trans-Bosphorus Marmaray rail tunnel. TCDD Taşımacılık operates commuter trains east to Ayrılık Çeşmesi and west to Kazlıçeşme (on the European side) within 6- to 10-minute intervals. Due to the stations central location, connections to several city bus routes are available. Üsküdar saw over 1.1 million boardings in October 2017, making it the 3rd busiest station on the Marmaray line as well as making up for 20% of all passenger boardings.

Harem is a quarter in the Asian part of Istanbul, Turkey. Belonging to the Üsküdar district, it lies on the coast of the Sea of Marmara between the centres of Üsküdar and Kadıköy districts, next to Haydarpaşa Terminal. One of the two main coach terminals in Istanbul is located in Harem (Turkish: Harem Otogarı). Coaches to almost all of the cities in Turkey depart from here. In October 2013, the Metropolitan Municipality announced that there exist plans to relocate Harem coach terminal because of capacity problems and inner city traffic congestion. There is a car ferryboat terminal in Harem operated by İDO for a line to Sirkeci, which is directly across the strait. The car ferryboat line offers an alternative to the heavy traffic on the Bosphorus Bridge.Selimiye Barracks, best known as the place, where famous nurse Florence Nightingale cared for the wounded and infected British soldiers during the Crimean War, is situated on the highway connecting the terminals to the motorway Istanbul-Ankara ( O-2).

The Üsküdar Ferry Terminal, also known as the Üsküdar Pier (Turkish: Üsküdar İskelesi), is a ferry terminal in Üsküdar, Istanbul, located along Paşa Limanı Avenue on the Bosporus strait. It is used by Municipal Şehir Hatları (City Lines) ferries as well as private Dentur ferries. Şehir Hatları ferries operate to several piers along the Bosporus and Golden Horn, while Dentur operates frequent ferry service to Kabataş and Beşiktaş. The first Üsküdar Pier was built in 1852 and is notable as the first public ferry landing built on the Bosporus strait. The modern terminal was built in 1965. Üsküdar Terminal is located near Üsküdar Square in central Üsküdar, from which connections to bus, train and metro service are available. Another private ferry operator, Turyol, operates ferry service from its pier just north of Üsküdar terminal.

The Mihrimah Sultan Mosque (İskele Mosque, Jetty Mosque, Turkish: Mihrimah Sultan Camii, İskele Camii) is a 16th century Ottoman mosque Overlooking the waterfront in the historic center of the Üsküdar district of Istanbul, Turkey. One of Üsküdar's best-known landmarks, it takes its alternative name from the ferry terminal near which it stands. Before the coast road was built the mosque would have stood right beside the water, accessible by boat.
