Al Madina School of Richmond is a private school in Chesterfield County, Virginia, established in 1998. It is the only Islamic school in the Richmond area.The school offers Montessori for Pre-K, a standard curriculum through the twelfth grade, Qur'anic studies, Arabic as a foreign language, and Islamic studies. It offers an associate degree in a dual degree program.

Monacan High School is a public secondary school in Chesterfield County, Virginia, United States, near the city of Richmond. The school was founded in 1979, and is a part of Chesterfield County Public Schools. Its enrollment is roughly 1550 students. The building underwent a major renovation in the summer of 2015 and into the fall of 2016. The almost $30 million project brought a brand new fine arts wing, including new band, chorus, orchestra, and black box theater spaces, along with a music production lab. Connected to the new fine arts wing is a new athletic space including a new three-court gym and premier training facility. Also, a part of the renovation was brand new main and counseling office spaces along with a brand new library, complete with academic meeting rooms and a multi-media recording studio.

Southside Speedway was a short track used for stock car auto racing located South of Richmond, Virginia in Chesterfield County. On December 11, 2020, the track announced it would be closing permanently after the 2020 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a .333-mile (0.536 km) asphalt oval owned and operated by Sue Clements and Patsy Stargardt. The track originally canceled the 2011 racing season after announcing that owner Sue Clements was battling health problems. However, a shortened 11-week 2011 season later took place, which saw the return of the Legends and Pro Six divisions. Update: Winning bidder Lin O’Neal,the former #1 race car driver at the track in Grand stock division who had been banned by the previous private owners, has now purchased the raceway from the County of Chesterfield and plans to re-open it to its former beauty.

Its transmitter is located in Bon Air, on a tower shared with local PBS member stations WCVE (channel 23) and WCVW (channel 57).

The Chesterfield County Mathematics and Science High School at Clover Hill is a magnet school in Midlothian, Virginia. The school, which is on the campus of Clover Hill High School, opened in September 1994. The school is a member of the National Consortium for Specialized Secondary Schools of Mathematics, Science, and Technology (NCSSSMST). It was known as the Renaissance Program early in its history.

The transmitter is off Old Bon Air Road, also in Richmond. WURV broadcasts in the HD Radio (hybrid) format. Its HD2 subchannel runs an all sports format, which is simulcast on translator station 106.1 W291CL as "Sports 106.1". WURV's HD3 subchannel simulcasts Virginia Tech's public radio station 89.1 WVTF from Roanoke, Virginia. It feeds translator station 92.5 W223AZ, which is owned by Virginia Tech.

Trabue's Tavern, also known as Pleasant View, is a historic plantation house and former tavern located near Midlothian, Chesterfield County, Virginia. The original section was built about 1730, and consists of two parts—an early 1+1⁄2-story western wing with a lean-to and a later two-story eastern wing with a one-story rear lean-to. Both sections are frame structures with gable roofs. Also on the property are several contributing buildings: an outhouse, well house, dairy, smokehouse, two kitchen buildings, schoolhouse, and family cemetery. Macon Trabue installed a wrought iron fence around the cemetery in the mid-nineteenth century.The property was owned by the Trabue family, an ethnic French Huguenot family who were among the principal mine-owners in the town. They used the house as an inn patronized by travelers and miners alike. It formerly had a front porch which was eventually removed after the house was sold out of the family in 1956.The estate was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
