Richfield is a city in Hennepin County, Minnesota. An inner-ring suburb of Minneapolis, Richfield is bordered by Minneapolis to the north, Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport and Fort Snelling to the east, Bloomington to the south, and Edina to the west. The population was 36,994 at the 2020 census.Best Buy, the U.S.'s largest electronics retailer, is headquartered in Richfield.

Richfield Ice Arena is an ice arena located in the city of Richfield, Minnesota. The Arena offers skating lessons, skate rental, open skating and open hockey. The Arena is the home rink for the Richfield High School and the Academy of Holy Angels High School. The Richfield Hockey Association coordinates the youth hockey program. For the 2022–23 season, the arena was home to the Minnesota Whitecaps of the Premier Hockey Federation.

Academy of Holy Angels (AHA) is a private, Catholic, coeducational high school in Richfield, Minnesota. Located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, the nationally recognized college-preparatory school educates more than 600 students each year, with students in grades nine through twelve coming from across the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

Richfield High School is the only public traditional high school in Richfield, Minnesota, United States. The school serves grades 9-12 for the Richfield Public Schools. It was named to the 2023 AP School Honor Roll, which recognizes schools with AP programs that are delivering results and broadening access for students. Richfield High School was also awarded a place on the "Best Public High Schools 2023-24" list by U.S. News and World Report. Athletics: Richfield High School is a member of the Tri-Metro Conference in the Minnesota State High School League.

Richfield High School was a school formerly located in Waco, Texas. The school began construction in 1960 and opened in September 1961. It was situated on the site of a World War I army airfield, Rich Field. In 1986, Richfield was consolidated with two other high schools in Waco ISD — Waco High School and Jefferson-Moore High School. This merged school, the current Waco High School, is housed in the former Richfield building on N. 42nd Street in Waco. The Richfield school mascot was the Ram and school colors were scarlet (red) and gray. The most celebrated athletic success at Richfield was back-to-back Texas state girls' basketball championships in 1984 and 1985. The Richfield Ramblers (changed from Rams) completed both seasons with undefeated records and had a combined record of 66–0, one of the greatest accomplishments in Texas high school basketball history.

Adler Graduate School is a private graduate school in Minnetonka, Minnesota, that offers a Master of Arts Degree in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy. It also offers post-Master's coursework for counseling and therapy licensure. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The Minnesota-based Adler Graduate School and the Chicago-based Adler School of Professional Psychology are independent of one another and institutionally unaffiliated.

Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center is a mosque in Bloomington, Minnesota, United States. On August 5, 2017, Emily Claire Hari (known at the time as Michael Hari), Michael McWhorter, and Joe Morris of Clarence, Illinois detonated an improvised explosive near the mosque, which damaged the structure but no one was hurt, in an effort to scare Muslims into leaving the United States. McWhorter and Morris pled guilty to crimes relating to the attack and Hari was convicted of several crimes in a 2020 federal trial.

The Richfield History Center, established in 2005, is a resource center dedicated to collecting and exhibiting the history of Richfield, Minnesota. It is operated by the Richfield Historical Society, founded in 1967 to preserve the Bartholomew House, a historic farmstead built in 1852. The History Center offers a variety of resources for visitors interested in Richfield's past.

The Riley Lucas Bartholomew House is a historic house museum in Richfield, Minnesota, United States, originally the home of prominent early Minnesotan Riley Bartholomew (1807–1894). The Richfield Historical Society operates the house as the Bartholomew House Museum adjacent to their Richfield History Center.

Great Wolf Lodge, originally the Water Park of America, is home to the tallest indoor water slide in the U.S. It covers 70,000 square feet (6,500 m2) with a slide tower nearly ten stories high. It opened in May 2006. Located in Bloomington, Minnesota, it is a half mile from the Mall of America and close to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. The water park was attached to the Radisson Hotel. Both the hotel and the water park were managed by Evolution Hospitality. In January 2017, it was announced that Great Wolf Resorts had purchased the property. The hotel and waterpark closed for renovations and rebranding as a Great Wolf Resort. Great Wolf reopened the property in December 2017.
