Præstø Town Hall

Den Borgerlige Velgørenheds Stiftelse (lit. "The Hoise of Civic Charity") is a historic building in Præstø, Vordingborg Municipality, Denmark. Built in 1869 to provide accommodation for elderly widows of the middle class, it was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 8 January 1982.

The Grundtvig House (Danish: Grundtvigs Hus) is a complex of historic buildings at Torvestræde 7 in Præstø, Vordingborg Municipality, Denmark. It takes its name after N. F. S. Grundtvig, who lived there for a year and a half in the early 1920s. It was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 1 March 1982.

Præstø (Danish pronunciation: [ˈpʰʁæstˌøˀ]) is a town with a population of 3,857 (1 January 2022) in Vordingborg Municipality in Region Sjælland on the east coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland). The 2011 Præstø Fjord dragon boat accident occurred on February 11, 2011, north of Præstø, Denmark. The incident involved 13 students and two teachers from Lundby Efterskole - a local continuation high school. The boat capsized due to the wind. This incident killed one of the teachers and injured most of the students, leaving several of them in permanent care. The body of the teacher, who was not wearing a lifejacket, was found over seven weeks later on April 3.

Christinelund, originally a farm under Nysø Manor, is located a few kilometres east of central Præstø, on the island of Zealand's Jungshoved peninsula, in Vordingborg Municipality in southeastern Denmark. It takes its name from the salonist Christine Stampe and was frequently visited by Hans Christian Andersen in the 1850s, when it was the home of Henrik and Jonna Stampe. The current main building was completed in 1860 to a design by the architect Ferdinand Meldahl. It was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 23 February 1978. The property is now operated as a bed and breakfast.

Tokai University Boarding School in Denmark (TUBS; 東海大学付属デンマーク校中学部・高等部 Tōkai Daigaku Fuzoku Denmāku Kō Chūgakubu Kōtōbu) was a Japanese international school in Præstø, Denmark. It was affiliated with Tokai University. and had junior high school and senior high school students. This school was an overseas branch of a Japanese private school, or a Shiritsu zaigai kyōiku shisetsu (私立在外教育施設). It was founded in 1988, and it closed in 2008.Bosei Sports High School opened on the former Tokai school campus. This school was established by local Danish authorities in conjunction with Tokai.

Bosei Sports High School (Danish: Idrætshøjskolen Bosei) is a folk high school (non-degree granting educational institution for adults) in Præstø, Denmark, in the campus of the former Tokai University Boarding School in Denmark, a Japanese boarding school. This school was established by local Danish authorities in conjunction with Tokai University, which had operated the boarding school.

Beldringe is a manor house and estate located four kilometres southwest of Præstø, Vordingborg Municipality, Denmark. The estate was from 1774 to 1993 owned by members of the Raben/Raben-Levetzau family. The two-storey main building from 1561 and a large, half-timbered barn from the 1710s were listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918.

Oremandsgaard is a manor house and estate located seven kilometres south of Præstø, Vordingborg Municipality, in southeastern Denmark. The estate traces its history back to the 14th century, but the current main building is from 1933. Oremandsgaard was acquired by Alfred Hage in 1861 and is currently owned by the fifth generation of the Hage family. It is one of the oldest organic farms in Denmark and plays host to an annual chamber music festival.

Lekkende is a manor house and estate located 8 km south of Præstø, Vordingborg Municipality, Denmark. The estate was from 1774 to 1993 owned by members of the Raben/Raben-Levetzau family, The main building is from 1838 but was heightened by one storey in 1880.

Lindersvold is a former manor house and estate located just north of Præstø Fjord, Faxe Municipality, some fifty kilometres south of Copenhagen, Denmark. The estate was founded by Christoffer Lindenov and remained in the hands of the Lindenoc family for almost one hundred years. It was later owned by the Thott/Reedtz-Thott family between 1732 and 1923, from 1705 as part of the Barony of Gavnø. The current main building is from 1830. Lindersvold is now owned by Den selvejende institution Fælleseje and operated as a private primary school for children with special challenges under the name Heldagsskolen Lindersvold.
