National Baptist Memorial Church is a Baptist church in Washington, D.C. It is located at the intersection of 16th Street NW and Columbia Road, where the Mt. Pleasant, Columbia Heights and Adams Morgan neighborhoods meet. The crossroads is notable for the triple steeples of National Baptist Memorial Church, All Souls Unitarian Church and the Unification Church's cathedral (formerly the Mormon's Washington Chapel). It is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches USA, the Progressive National Baptist Convention, and to a certain extent the Southern Baptist Convention. Rev. Kasey D. Jones became the senior pastor in 2006 and served until 2017. She was the first woman and the first African-American to serve in that role. Rev. Dr. Charles E. Collins, Jr. has served as the interim pastor since 2017.

The David White House is a historic house at 1459 Girard Street NW in Washington, D.C. A National Historic Landmark, it was the home of geologist David White (1862–1935) from 1910 to 1925. White had a longtime association with the United States Geological Survey (USGS), and performed groundbreaking research on peat and petroleum geology.

Francis Asbury, also known as the Francis Asbury Memorial, is a public equestrian statue, by American artist Augustus Lukeman, located at 16th Street and Mt. Pleasant Street, Northwest, Washington, D.C., in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood. It was originally surveyed as part of the Smithsonian's Save Outdoor Sculpture! survey in 1994.

Warder Mansion (also known as Warder-Totten House) is an apartment complex at 2633 16th Street Northwest, in the Meridian Hill Park neighborhood of Washington, D.C. It is the only surviving building in the city designed by architect Henry Hobson Richardson. In an early example of preservation commitment, the building was saved from demolition in the 1920s by being disassembled and moved 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north of its original site. In the 1990s, the Warder-Totten House's prospects for survival again looked bleak, but the building was saved a second time.

Antioch School of Law was a law school in Washington, D.C. which specialized in public advocacy. The school now operates as the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law (UDC-DCSL).The school was located in the historic Warder Mansion on 16th Street NW and its law library a block away on Crescent Place NW in the Adams-Morgan neighborhood of Washington, D.C., near Meridian Hill Park.

The Cuban Embassy in Washington, D.C. is the diplomatic mission of Cuba to the United States of America. It is located at 2630 16th Street Northwest, in the Adams Morgan neighborhood. The building was originally constructed in 1917 as the Cuban embassy, and served in that capacity until the United States severed relations with Cuba in 1961. On July 1, 2015, US President Barack Obama announced the formal restoration of diplomatic relations between the United States and Cuba. The building resumed its role as the Cuban Embassy on July 20, 2015.

Embassy of Lithuania in Washington, D.C., is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Lithuania to the United States. It is located at 2622 16th Street Northwest, Washington, D.C., in the Adams Morgan neighborhood.

Mount Pleasant is a neighborhood in the northwestern quadrant of Washington, D.C. It is bounded by Rock Creek Park to the north and west; Harvard Street NW to the south; and 16th Street NW to the east. It is north of Adams Morgan and west of Columbia Heights. It is home to approximately 10,000 people. The western four-fifths of the neighborhood is a largely wooded residential enclave bounded on two sides by Rock Creek Park, just east of the National Zoo. Structures in this area are primarily row houses of Neoclassical architecture with rear porches, with some subdivided into multiple apartments. The Eighteen Hundred Block Park Road, NW is notable for its ten detached "suburban" houses on terraces overlooking the street. The twelve buildings at 1644–1666 Park Road NW, designed by Appleton P. Clark Jr. in the style of Colonial Revival architecture, were completed in 1906.The eastern side of the neighborhood, along 16th Street NW and Mount Pleasant Street, is marked by mid-rise apartment buildings. These buildings offer rental apartments, condominiums and housing cooperatives. A four-block commercial corridor with convenience shopping extends along Mount Pleasant Street. It is also walking distance from larger retail developments in Columbia Heights. The neighborhood is served by the Mount Pleasant Line and the Crosstown Line buses. A series of "Heritage Trail" historical markers are installed in Mount Pleasant. The markers, which may be followed as a walking tour, consist of 17 poster-sized street signs featuring narrative, photographs and maps.

The Pink Palace, also known as the Mrs. Marshall Field House and the Inter-American Defense Board, is a historic house located in the Adams Morgan neighborhood in Washington, D.C. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1991. George Oakley Totten Jr. was the architect for the structure that was completed in 1906. Additions were made to the house in 1912 and 1988.

The Embassy of Ecuador in Washington, D.C., is the Republic of Ecuador's diplomatic mission to the United States. It is located at 2535 15th Street N.W. in Washington, D.C.'s Columbia Heights neighborhood. The current building has been used as an embassy since the 1960s.The building was designed by architect George Oakley Totten, Jr. (1866-1939), who studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts and who also designed the Old Hungarian Embassy building next door at 2537 Fifteenth St.: 13 The embassy also operates Consulates-General in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New Haven, New Orleans, New York City, Newark, Phoenix and San Francisco. The Chargé d'Affairs is Efraín Baus.The chancery suffered damage in the 2011 Virginia earthquake on August 24, 2011. The earthquake caused cracks on internal walls and collapsed three of the building's chimneys. The chimney collapse damaged two cars.On September 27, 2017, a two alarm fire broke out on the roof of the chancery.
