La Corbière (French pronunciation: [la kɔʁbjɛʁ]; Jèrriais: La Corbiéthe) is the extreme south-western point of Jersey in St. Brélade. The name means "a place where crows gather", deriving from the word corbîn meaning crow. However, seagulls have long since displaced the crows from their coastal nesting sites. The rocks and extreme tidal variation around this stretch of Jersey's coast have been treacherous for navigation and La Corbière has been the scene of many shipwrecks, including that of the mail packet "Express" on 20 September 1859.

HM Prison La Moye is a mixed-use prison on the island of Jersey. La Moye is currently Jersey's only prison, and is situated within the boundaries of the Vingtaine de la Moye. It is operated by the Jersey Prison Service, part of the Department of Home Affairs. The prison was opened in the mid-1970s, and originally built to house 150 inmates. Because La Moye is the island's only jail, it has to provide accommodation for men, women and vulnerable prisoners. The young offenders wing was closed due to no funding. Consequently, there are four distinctive areas of the prison which have been set aside for each category of inmate.

La Moye Golf Club is a private golf club located in Saint Brélade on the south-west coast of the island of Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands. The club has hosted several prestigious tournaments including the Rediffusion Tournament from 1963 to 1966, the Jersey Open on the European Tour between 1978 and 1995, and the Jersey Seniors Classic on the European Senior Tour since 1996.

British United Airways Flight 1030X crashed on 14 April 1965 on Jersey in the Channel Islands. Poor visibility and low cloud cover resulted in an aborted landing attempt, leading to a second attempt which ended with the Douglas C-47B hitting the outermost pole of the approach lighting system before crashing into a field and catching fire. The crash killed all 23 passengers and three of the crew on board; a flight attendant was the only survivor of the accident.

St Brelade's Church is one of the twelve ancient parish churches in the island of Jersey; it is sited on the west side of the island in the parish of St Brelade, in the southwest corner of St Brelade's Bay. It is unique in the Channel Islands in having one of the very few surviving medieval chapels, the Fisherman's Chapel, sited directly next to the main church building.

The Fishermen's Chapel (French: Chapelle-ès-Pêcheurs, Jèrriais: Chapelle ès Pêtcheurs) is a small chapel located beside St Brelade's Church in St Brelade, Jersey, by the shore at the western end of St Brelade's Bay.

Jersey Scottish Football Club is a football club based on the Channel Island of Jersey. They are affiliated to the Jersey Football Association. They formerly played in the Jersey Football Combination Premiership.

Jersey Portuguese F.C. is a football club based on the Channel Island of Jersey. They are affiliated to the Jersey Football Association. They formerly played in the Jersey Football Combination Championship. The club was formed in 1971 and played in the Jersey Football League and its successor, the Jersey Football Combination. In the 2015–16 season the club were handed a suspended sentence by the Jersey Football Association for repeated disciplinary issues, which saw them threatened with being expelled from the league for any re-occurrences. In April 2017 they were involved in an on-pitch brawl which saw the club investigated again. The outcome of this investigation saw the club suspended from football on the island for a year. In June 2020 it was reported that the club was considering a return for the 2020–21 season. The club, known as Portuguese Football Club of Jersey, competes in the Over 35’s League.

La Tour Cârrée, or The Square Tower, on Jersey, is not a tower but rather is a fortified guardhouse and magazine in the style of a blockhouse with loopholes for musketry. It may have been erected in 1778 on the site of a redoubt. The tower supported a battery of three 24-pounder cannons that stood on a paved surface in front of it. Shingle now covers this surface. The tower and battery played a role in the repelling in 1779 of the Prince of Nassau's attempt to land a force at the Franco-Dutch Invasion of Jersey. Historically, the structure and redoubts near it have been known as Square Fort, North Battery, and New North Battery. It is located on St Ouen's Bay, by St Ouen's Pond. Today the structure is painted white and black on the seaward side to serve as a daymark for sailors. Since 2007 the tower has been available as self-catering accommodation under a program the Jersey Heritage Trust administers for the States of Jersey Towers and Forts project. Accommodation is extremely basic as the site has no utilities whatsoever.

Kempt Tower, in La Grande Cueillette, Saint Ouen, Jersey, is also known as Saint Ouen No. 2 and La Grôsse Tou in Jèrriais, and is a Martello tower that the British completed in 1834. It is named for Sir James Kempt, the Master-General of the Ordnance from 1830 to 1834. While governor of Canada, Kempt was involved in the planning for the use of Martello towers to protect the colony. Currently, Kempt Tower serves as the interpretation centre for Les Mielles conservation area.

Les Quennevais School (Jèrriais: L'êcole des Tchennevais) is a secondary school, owned and operated by the States of Jersey, and located in the parish of Saint Brélade in Jersey which has a catchment area of students from the west of Island.

St Brelade (Jèrriais and French: Saint Brélade) is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey in the Channel Islands. It is around 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) west of St Helier. Its population was 11,012 as of 2021. The parish's main settlement is St. Aubin. The parish is the second-largest parish by surface area, covering 7,103 vergées (12.78 km2), which is 11% of the total land surface of the island and it occupies the southwestern part of the island. It is the only parish to border only one other parish, St. Peter. The parish is largely a suburban commuter area for St Helier, with expansive low rise residential development, especially in the urban area of Les Quennevais. However, the parish also has a number of notable natural sites, such as the sand dunes of St Ouen's Bay.
