Welling School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in the Welling area of the London Borough of Bexley, England.

Bostall Heath and Woods is an area of 159.1 hectares of woodland with areas of heathland located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich ward of Abbey Wood and adjacent to Lesnes Abbey Woods. The area to the south of the A206 (Bostall Hill) is Bostall Woods and to the north is Bostall Heath. The wood is owned and maintained by the Royal Borough of Greenwich, with the exception of the Cooperative Woods, in the north east corner of the site which in 1978 was gifted to the newly formed Bexley and Greenwich Community Hospice by the local community owned Royal Arsenal Co-operative Society founded and based at that time just a short journey away serving locals and workers at the royal arsenal. Unlike Woodlands Farm, a community inner city farm which preserve ancient woodlands and rolling Kent field, the land at Bostall is no longer owned by the consumer owned the co-operative group co-op based in Manchester. The farm and a few residual tracts of ornamental verges between the homes and streets built below bostall woods and named by that society over a century ago remain the last historically significant landholdings of what had been one of Kent's largest and longest lasting employers. The woods, community housing, parks and amenities remain as a lasting investment in the Bostall Woods, and Abbey Woods community of Abbey wood, South London.

Welling Stadium was a greyhound racing stadium located on the west side of Wickham Street in Welling, South East London It is not to be confused with a football ground that existed to the east of the stadium and was situated on the east and south sides of Wickham Street.

Little and Lesnes was a hundred, a historical land division, in the county of Kent, England. It occupied the northern part of the Lathe of Sutton-at-Hone, within in the west division of Kent. Little and Lesnes was the northernmost hundred in the whole county of Kent. The hundred existed since ancient times, before the Domesday Book of 1086, until it was made obsolete with the creation of new districts at the end of the nineteenth century.Today the area that was the Hundred of Little and Lesnes is suburban London, covering the northeast corner of the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the northern part of the London Borough of Bexley, with the River Thames to the north, and Watling Street to the south; and roughly centred on the area of Abbey Wood. Little and Lesnes Hundred was approximately, 4 miles (6.5 km) across north to south, and about 7 miles (11.25 km) wide east to west.

Abbey Wood is an area in southeast London, England, straddling the border between the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the London Borough of Bexley. It is located 10.6 miles (17 km) east of Charing Cross.

The A209 road is a 2-mile (3.2 km) route in southeast London, England. It connects Plumstead in the north with Welling in the south, passing through East Wickham. It is known as Wickham Lane at the northern end in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and Upper Wickham Lane at the southern end in the London Borough of Bexley. The entire route is served by the London Buses route 96.

Welling railway station is situated in Welling, part of the London Borough of Bexley, and is served by the Bexleyheath Line, 11 miles 28 chains (18.3 km) from London Charing Cross.The station was opened with the line on 1 May 1895. The station is located in Station Road, just off Bellegrove Road (which becomes Welling High Street). This is one of the stations on the line with original buildings: the offices here are on the Up side of the station. There are ticket barriers to both entrances.

Woolwich cemetery is a cemetery in southeast London, situated south-east of Woolwich, in Kings Highway, Plumstead, on land that was formerly part of Plumstead Common. The first cemetery, which is sometimes referred to as the Woolwich Old Cemetery, was opened in 1856 by the Woolwich Burial Board and the 12-acre site was almost full within 30 years; in 1885, a new cemetery was established on adjacent land to the east. The latter site is still in use, and contains graves of those who died in explosions at the Royal Arsenal, plus a World War I memorial with the names of 14 casualties; in total the cemetery has 96 World War I and 81 World War II Commonwealth war graves.The cemetery has been used as a film location for The Krays (1990) and Harry Brown (2009).

West Heath is an area of South East London within the London Borough of Bexley. It lies south of Abbey Wood and north of Welling.

It is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west of Bexleyheath, 4 miles (6.4 km) south east of Woolwich and 10.5 miles (16.9 km) east-southeast of Charing Cross, the traditional centre of London.

Park View Road is home to National League South semi-professional football club Welling United, and was the ground of their predecessors Bexley United. Welling have played there since 1977. It is also the home of Erith & Belvedere who have been ground sharing since the 1999 season. The ground takes its name from a section of the A207 road in Welling, immediately adjacent to Danson Park.
