Angmering

St Margaret's Church is a Church of England parish church in Angmering, West Sussex. The church is a grade II* listed building.

The Angmering School is a coeducational community secondary school and sixth form located in Angmering, West Sussex that opened in 1975. The school has Specialist Sports and Science College status. The headteacher is Simon Liley. There are approximately 1400 children on roll, with an age range of 11 to 18 years. There is a Sixth Form college on the site which offers an array of Level 3 qualifications.It has been awarded the Charter Mark.The site is used by Worthing Hockey Club as their training ground.

Angmering is a railway station on the West Coastway Line, on the border of Angmering and East Preston in the district of Arun. It was opened in 1846. The station itself is situated about 0.6 miles (1 km) away from the centre of Angmering village, and is 15 miles 44 chains (25.0 km) down the line from Brighton. Buses depart for Angmering village hourly (Monday to Saturday off-peak), or walking to the village takes about 20 minutes. The station is located near the local secondary school The Angmering School, some of the students of which use the station daily to travel to and from school. Angmering station is also designed to be used by the residents of the nearby villages of Rustington and East Preston, with some of the station's signage actually reading 'Angmering for Rustington and East Preston'.

Ecclesden Manor is a Grade II* listed country house in Angmering, West Sussex, England. It was built for John Forster in 1634.

The Oval Raceway, also known as the Angmering Motor Sports Centre or Angmering Raceway is a motor racing circuit on the outskirts of Angmering, near Worthing, West Sussex in the United Kingdom.The 25-acre (100,000 m2) site was started by local man Jim Hazelgrove and is focused on a 0.25 miles (0.40 km) concrete banked oval track, inside of which is a smaller circuit for go-karts, mini motos and pit bikes. The main track primarily hosts stock car, hot rod and banger racing, as well as special events such as demolition derbies caravan racing and car jumps.

Worthing Rural District was a rural district in West Sussex, England from 1933 to 1974. It comprised an area to the north, west and east, but did not include the borough of Worthing. Its area encompassed the land in southern Sussex between the Rivers Adur and Arun, with the exception of Arundel, Littlehampton and Worthing itself. The rural district had its council offices at 15 Mill Road, West Worthing, Worthing.The district was created as the successor to parts of East Preston Rural District, Steyning West Rural District and Thakeham Rural District.It consisted of seventeen civil parishes: Angmering, Burpham, Clapham, Coombes, East Preston, Ferring, Findon, Houghton, Kingston, Lancing, Lyminster, Patching, Poling, Rustington, Sompting, South Stoke and Warningcamp.The rural district was abolished by the Local Government Act 1972 in 1974. Its territory was split between the Adur district and the Arun district, with the parishes of Coombes, Lancing and Sompting going to the former and the others going to the latter.
