The Oktyabrskiy Big Concert Hall (BKZ)[1] (Russian: Большой концертный зал «Октя́брьский», romanized: Bol'shoy kontsertnyy zal «Oktyábr'skiy», Big Concert Hall "October") is a theatre located in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It hosts variety actors, rock musicians, and also dance and ballet collectives. Located in the Greek Square, it opened October 1967, inaugurated 50 years after the October Revolution. The director of the hall, since 1988, has been Emma Lavrinovich.

Ploshchad Vosstaniya (Russian: Плóщадь Восстáния, IPA: [ˈploɕːɪtʲ vɐsːˈtanʲɪjə], lit. Uprising Square) is a station on the Kirovsko-Vyborgskaya Line of Saint Petersburg Metro. It is one of the system's original stations, opening on November 15, 1955. It is a deep underground pylon station at 58 metres (190 ft) depth. The main surface vestibule is situated on Vosstaniya Square, which gives its name to the station. Another exit (opened in 1960) opens directly into the Moskovsky Rail Terminal. Ploshchad Vosstaniya is connected to the station Mayakovskaya of the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya Line via a transfer corridor and a set of escalators.

Novotel Saint Petersburg Centre (Russian: Новотель Санкт-Петербург Центр) is a 4-star hotel that operates under the brand Novotel by Accor Group. It was opened in 2005. The hotel is located at 3 Mayakovskogo ul., Saint Petersburg, Russia. Every room in the hotel has a different shape due to the complicated nature of the building architecture.

Leningrad Hero City Obelisk (Russian: Обелиск «Городу-герою Ленинграду») is a monument in the shape of an obelisk located in Vosstaniya Square in Saint Petersburg, Russia, which was known as Leningrad from 1924 to 1991. It was installed on Victory Day of May 1985 to commemorate the fortieth anniversary of the Red Army's victory in the German-Soviet War. The monument was designed by architects Vladimir Lukyanov and A. I. Alymov.The Hero-City Obelisk is pentahedral in shape; its cross section has the shape of a star. In its lower part, the Obelisk is encircled with a bronze wreath covering the joint of the two monoliths. The monument is decorated with bronze high reliefs devoted to the heroic defence of Leningrad while a gold star shines on its top. After the Alexander Column, it is the highest stone monument in Saint Petersburg. When Soviet forces eventually lifted the siege in January 1944, over one million inhabitants of Leningrad had died from starvation, exposure and German shelling. 300,000 soldiers had perished in the defence and relief of Leningrad. Leningrad was awarded the title Hero City in 1945, being the first city to receive that distinction. Installing the obelisk required highly skilled builders and fitters. Grey granite resembling the colour of soldier's overcoat was chosen to make the body of the monument. The rock was obtained from a quarry of the Vozrozhdenie (literally: Revival) deposit near the town of Vyborg. On 6 November 1983, a monolith weighing 2200 tonnes was separated from the source rock with the help of a controlled explosion. The finishing touches and polishing of the granite were done on the site. In early April 1985, the Obelisk crowned with the "Gold Star" was installed onto its pedestal.

Vosstaniya Square (Russian: Пло́щадь Восста́ния, lit. Uprising Square) is a major square in the Central Business District of Saint Petersburg, Russia. The square lies at the crossing of Nevsky Prospekt, Ligovsky Prospekt, Vosstaniya Street and Goncharnaya Street, in front of the Moskovsky Rail Terminal, which is the northern terminus of the line connecting the city with Moscow. Administratively, the Vosstaniya Square falls under the authority of the Tsentralny District.

Oktyabrskaya Hotel (Znamenskaya Hotel until 1887; Great Northern until 1930), a four-star hotel founded in 1851, is located in Central Saint Petersburg, in Vosstaniya Square.

St. Petersburg-Glavny (Russian: Санкт-Петербург-Главный), is a railway station terminal in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is a terminus for the Saint Petersburg–Moscow Railway and other lines running from Central and South Russia, Crimea, Siberia and Eastern Ukraine.

Mayakovskaya (Russian: Маяко́вская) is a station on the Nevsko–Vasileostrovskaya Line of Saint Petersburg Metro, opened on November 3, 1967, and named after Russian poet Vladimir Mayakovsky. The main surface vestibule is situated on Nevsky Prospekt. Mayakovskaya is connected to the station Ploshchad Vosstaniya of the Kirovsko-Vyborgskaya Line via a transfer corridor and a set of escalators. The transfer corridor also links both stations to Moskovsky Rail Terminal

Chernyshevskaya (Russian: Черныше́вская) is a station on the Kirovsko-Vyborgskaya Line of Saint Petersburg Metro, opened on September 1, 1958. It is a deep underground pylon station at 67 metres (220 ft) depth with a short central hall. The station is named after Chernyshevsky Prospekt, which is in turn named after Russian materialist philosopher and writer Nikolai Chernyshevsky. This station was part of the second stretch of the Saint Petersburg Metro built. While construction was about to start, a rule was created that no more stations should be ornately decorated, such as the stations between Avtovo and Ploshchad Vosstaniya (the first stretch built).

Galeria shopping and entertainment center is located in the center of St Petersburg, Russia, at the juncture of two of the city's major avenues - Nevsky and Ligovsky Prospect. Galeria opened on November 25, 2010. There are more than 300 shops, 28 restaurants and cafes and 10 cinema screens (including IMAX) in the five-floor center. There is underground parking with a capacity for 1200 cars and additional bicycle parking. Galeria has a variety of stores selling clothes, accessories, sports equipment, footwear, and gifts. Available brands include H&M, Zara, Reserved and luxury brands such as Pinko, Falconeri, Karen Millen, Lagerfeld, Michael Kors, DKNY, Armani, Marco Polo, Hugo Boss, Max Mara Weekend, Stefanel.

Nevsky Prospect (Russian: Не́вский проспе́кт, tr. Nevsky Prospekt, IPA: [ˈnʲɛfskʲɪj prɐˈspʲɛkt]) is the main street (high street) in the federal city of St. Petersburg in Russia. It takes its name from the Alexander Nevsky Lavra, the monastery which stands at the eastern end of the street, and which in turn commemorates the Russian hero Prince Saint Alexander Nevsky (1221–1263). Following his founding of Saint Petersburg in 1703, Tsar Peter I planned the course of the street as the beginning of the road to Novgorod and Moscow. The avenue runs from the Admiralty in the west to the Moscow Railway Station and, after veering slightly southwards at Vosstaniya Square, to the Alexander Nevsky Lavra.

Ligovsky Prospekt (Russian: Лиговский проспект) is a major street in Saint Petersburg. Before the establishment of the city, it was a street leading to Novgorod, used by the people living in the villages around the delta of Neva. During 1718 to 1725, when Saint Petersburg was the capital of Russia, construction began on the Ligovsky Canal. The canal was used to transfer water from the Liga River to fountains of the Summer Garden, hence the name of the street and the canal. After the flood of 1777 all the fountains were demolished, and later the canal was as well.
