Yawger Creek

Peter Yawger House is a historic home located at Union Springs in Cayuga County, New York. It was built in 1838–1840 in the Greek Revival style on the east shore of Cayuga Lake. It consists of a 1+1⁄2-story, five-by-three-bay, brick gable-roofed main block, with a 1-story, gable-roofed kitchen wing. The front portico is supported by four massive fluted Ionic columns.The property spans from Cayuga Lake shore to New York State Route 90.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

William Richardson House is a historic home located at Union Springs in Cayuga County, New York. It was built about 1830 and is a remarkably intact late Federal / early Greek Revival–style farmhouse. It is a 2-story, three-bay brick dwelling main block with a 1+1⁄2-story side ell and 1+1⁄2-story rear wing. Also on the property are four late-19th-century / early-20th-century barns.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.Village history states that William Richardson came from Chester County, PA in 1791 and married Elizabeth Thompson. Her father is noted as Thomas Thompson from Juniata in Western Pennsylvania. William died in Levanna, NY in 1823.

It was built about 1840 and is a remarkably intact two-story, five-bay, center-hall limestone dwelling in the Greek Revival style. Attached to the main block is a large two-story rear wing creating an L-shaped house. Also on the property is a stone barn, stone shed, and stone smokehouse.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.The house is set back from Cayuga Street (New York State Route 90).

Julius and Harriet Bull House, also known as Ferry Farm, is a historic home located at Seneca Falls in Seneca County, New York. The house is a four bay wide, two story cobblestone house. It was built in 1830 and the facade is constructed of variously sized and colored field cobbles. The house is among the approximately 18 surviving cobblestone buildings in Seneca County. The house is believed to have been used as a stop on the Underground Railroad. Also on the property is a contributing carriage barn / workshop.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Canoga is a hamlet in the Town of Fayette, Seneca County, New York, United States, along Cayuga Lake. It is located seven miles (11 km) southeast of the hamlet of Seneca Falls, at an elevation of 449 feet (137 m). The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are N.Y. Route 89 and Canoga Road (CR 121). The word Canoga, or "Ga-no-geh" as called by native Cayuga people, means "place of the sweet water".Canoga and the immediate area is home to some members of the Cayuga Nation. Nearby at Canoga Cemetery is a historical monument marking the birthplace of Seneca Indian Chief Red Jacket, although it is currently unknown as to where he was actually born. According to Iroquois history and tradition, Chief Red Jacket was born in 1750 at the former Indian village of Skannayutenate along Canoga Creek which was later burned in 1779 by troops under the command of Colonel Henry Dearborn during the Sullivan Expedition of the American Revolutionary War. As orator of the Six Nations of the Iroquois, there are six stones at the base of the Chief Red Jacket birthplace monument mentioning each of the tribes belonging to the Haudenosaunee Confederacy.Cayuga Lake State Park and Seneca Falls Country Club are located 4 miles (6 km) north of Canoga on N.Y. Route 89.
