Uručča

Uručča (also referred to as Uruchcha or Uruch'ye) (Belarusian: Уручча, [uˈruttʂa]; Russian: Уручье, romanized: Uruch'ye, pronounced [ʊˈrutɕjɪ]; lit. 'Brookside') is a Minsk Metro station, a terminus of the Maskoŭskaja line. Opened on November 7, 2007 it is the first station outside the Minsk Automobile Ring Road, located in the Uručča ('Brookside') microraion of Minsk's Metropolitan Borough of Pershamayski. The station is shallow, in a pillar by-span design. As with all the recently built metro stations in Minsk, it has disabled access. The station is in the middle of the Uručča microraion on the northeastern edge of the city, with numerous connections to provincial bus routes and to Minsk International Airport.

Barysaŭski trakt, (also referred to as Barysawski trakt or Borisovskiy trakt) (Belarusian: Барысаўскі тракт; Russian: Борисовский тракт, romanized: Borisovskiy trakt, IPA: [bɐˈrʲisəfskʲɪj trakt]) is a Minsk Metro station on the Maskoŭskaja line. Opened on November 7, 2007 the station's name is derived from the Barysaŭ Highway which leads to a city that is northeast of Minsk. The station will be a standard single level pillar-bispan with hi-tech aesthetic design of white and red colours. Station exits will lead to the Belarusian National Technical University and East (Maskoŭskija) cemetery.

The 120th Guards Mechanised Brigade is a mechanised infantry brigade of the Belarus Ground Forces. It is the heir to the traditions of the Red Army 120th Guards Rifle Division which became the 120th Guards Motor Rifle Division in 1957.

Uschod (Belarusian: Усход; Russian: Восток [vɐˈstok], lit. 'East') is a Minsk Metro station. It was opened on December 30, 1986.The station's name not only implies its geographical location, as it was the easternmost station of Minsk metro for more than 20 years, but also its connotation with the Vostok space programme that ultimately led to the first manned spaceflight. The station's architectural ensemble (Ye.Leonovich, V.Matelsky) is based on the latter and consists of a single vault shape with a suspended canopy that forms a single element. The canopy simultaneously acts as a blind from the lamps, and also contains the lighting elements which are focused on the apex of the white vault. This "petal" layout is reminiscent of the interior of a spaceship with illuminator windows: contrasting with that is the dark red and grey granite on the walls and the floor. The station is located near the National Library of Belarus and the residential microrayon Uschod-1 and -2. Its two underground vestibules are interlinked with subways that are located on both sides of the Independence Avenue. From 1986-2007 the station was the terminus of the line and it received quite a lot of passenger traffic from commuters that traveled from the northeast. However, this ended when in 2007 the extension to Barysawski Trakt and Uruchcha was finished.

The National Library of Belarus (Belarusian: Нацыянальная бібліятэка Беларусі, romanized: Natsyyanal'naya bibliyateka Byelarusi, Russian: Национальная библиотека Беларуси, romanized: Natsional'naya biblioteka Belarusi) is the biggest library in the Republic of Belarus. The library is located in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. It houses the largest collection of Belarusian printed materials and the third largest collection of books in Russian behind the Russian State Library (Moscow) and the Russian National Library (Saint Petersburg).

Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus (Belarusian: Ваенная акадэмія Рэспублікі Беларусь, Russian: Военная академия Республики Беларусь, ВАРБ) is higher military educational institution in the national education system of the Republic of Belarus and the leading institution in the education system of training, retraining and advanced training of military personnel. It is located on Independence Avenue (Prospekt Nezavisimosti) in the Belarusuan capital of Minsk. It has 10 departments that train officers of 38 specialties for all arms of service.

Vopytny (Belarusian: Вопытны; Russian: Опытный, romanized: Opytny) is a settlement in Minsk District, Minsk Region, Belarus. It is administratively part of Barawlyany selsoviet. It is located about seven kilometres (4.3 mi) from the Minsk Ring Road, north of the capital Minsk. In 2010, it had a population of 368.

Barawlyany (Belarusian: Бараўляны, romanized: Baraŭliany; Russian: Боровляны, romanized: Borovlyany) is a village in Minsk District, Minsk Region, Belarus. It is administratively part of Barawlyany selsoviet. It is located about six kilometres (3.7 mi) from the Minsk Ring Road, north of the capital Minsk. In 2010, it had a population of 8,219.

Lyasny (Belarusian: Лясны, romanized: Liasny; Russian: Лесной, romanized: Lesnoy) is an agrotown in Minsk District, Minsk Region, Belarus. It serves as the administrative center of Barawlyany selsoviet. It is located north of the capital Minsk, 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from its center and about six kilometres (3.7 mi) from the Minsk Ring Road (the approximate boundary of Minsk). In 1999, it had a population of 8,350.

The Border Guard Service Institute of Belarus (Belarusian: Iнстытут пагранiчнай службы Рэспублікі Беларусь) is the educational institution of the Border Guard Service of Belarus.

Lyeskawka (Belarusian: Лескаўка, romanized: Lieskaŭka; Russian: Лесковка, romanized: Leskovka) is a village in Minsk District, Minsk Region, Belarus. It is administratively part of Barawlyany selsoviet. It is located about eight kilometres (5.0 mi) from the Minsk Ring Road, north of the capital Minsk. In 2010, it had a population of 1,643.
