St Patrick's College, Dublin

Belvidere House in Drumcondra, Dublin is a historic house now located within the grounds of St Patrick's College, Dublin, a constituent college of Dublin City University. The house was constructed in its original form around 1660 for Robert Booth, Lord Chief Justice of Ireland and was described at that time as being Jacobean in form. It is situated at the highest point in the area overlooking the city of Dublin. A larger Georgian structure was built on the site of the house at some stage between 1737 and 1750 by Henry Singleton and it is largely this structure which is still standing as of 2024. The house is also known for having the earliest still extant Rococo stuccowork in Dublin.

Drumcondra (Irish: Droim Conrach, meaning 'Conra's Ridge') is a residential area and inner suburb on the Northside of Dublin, Ireland. It is administered by Dublin City Council. The River Tolka and the Royal Canal flow through the area.

Our Lady's Park (Irish: Páirc Mhuire) is a small 0.37-hectare (0.91-acre) boomerang-shaped park located on the banks of the River Tolka in Dublin city next to Frank Flood Bridge (previously known as 'Drumcondra Bridge' until 2018) in Drumcondra. The park is notable for its statue of the Virgin Mary, presumably erected in 1954 for the Marian Year which had been declared by Pope John XXIII.

Clonturk (Irish: Cluain Tuirc) is an area on the Northside of Dublin, in Ireland. It is located in the south of the suburb of Drumcondra, just north of the River Tolka, but previously, Clonturk had been an alternative name for Drumcondra and the wider area. Clonturk lies within the Dublin 9 postal district. The name Clonturk translates from the Irish as "Pasture of the boars". There is some evidence that the name originally was Ceann Torc or the "Headland of the boars", but had changed to Clonturk by the middle of the 16th century, perhaps under the influence of the more famous neighbouring placename Clontarf.

Tolka Park (Irish: Páirc na Tulchann) is an Irish football ground located in the north Dublin suburb of Drumcondra, on the northern banks of the River Tolka. It is currently the home ground of League of Ireland club Shelbourne. The stadium formerly held 9,680 people, but this has been scaled down in recent times due to health and safety regulations in the venue, mainly concerning the 'New' and Ballybough stands. Tolka Park has hosted national cup finals along with international matches, Champions League qualifiers, UEFA Cup, UEFA Cup Winners' Cup ties and was a venue for the 1994 UEFA European Under-16 Championship and 2000 Rugby League World Cup. Its future is currently uncertain due to the sale of the ground by Shelbourne to businessman Ossie Kilkenny in 2006, the purchase of the ground by Dublin City Council in 2015, with the proposal to redevelop Dalymount Park as a shared home for Shelbourne and Bohemian F.C., and with Shelbourne's proposal to reacquire ownership of the ground.

Drumcondra Public Library is an art deco style public library in Drumcondra, Dublin designed by Robert Sorley Lawrie working in the city architect's office under Horace O'Rourke.This building was one of four similar libraries built by Dublin Corporation between 1935 and 1940 in the Dublin suburbs of Phibsborough, Ringsend, Drumcondra and Inchicore.

All Hallows College was a college of higher education in Dublin. It was founded in 1842 and was run by the Vincentians from 1892 until 2016. On 23 May 2014, it was announced that it was closing down, due to decreasing student numbers. The sale of the campus in Drumcondra to Dublin City University was announced on 19 June 2015 and completed on 8 April 2016. The college closed on 30 November 2016, becoming the All Hallows Campus of Dublin City University.

Drumcondra House is a Georgian house and gardens in Drumcondra, Dublin, Ireland which as of 2022 forms part of the DCU All Hallows Campus and formerly part of All Hallows College. It was designed by the architects Sir Edward Lovett Pearce and Alessandro Galilei and was built in 1726 for Marmaduke Coghill who had originally lived in Belvidere House, and now forms part of DCU St. Patrick's Campus Drumcondra.

Home Farm Road (also referred to as Homefarm Road) is a regional road situated in upper Drumcondra, Dublin, Ireland. It is notable for being the place of origin of Home Farm F.C. It was previously named St. Mary's Road up to the tenth house. The road is named after the medieval home farm of the Priory of the Most Holy Trinity, which was located in Glasnevin.

Griffith Park (Irish: Páirc Uí Ghríofa) is a 7.5-hectare (19-acre) park located on the banks of the River Tolka in Dublin city between Glasnevin and Drumcondra. The park is a short distance downstream of Ireland's National Botanic Gardens, and upriver of Our Lady's Park, and has been noted by Discover Ireland as "one of the premier north city parks". The park closes at different times of the year, dependent on the hours of dusk.

Mater Dei Institute of Education (Irish: Institiúid Oideachais Mater Dei) was a linked college of Dublin City University from 1999 until its closure in 2016, located in Drumcondra, Dublin City, Ireland, near Croke Park, on the site of what was formerly Clonliffe College, the Roman Catholic Seminary for the Archdiocese of Dublin. The college was founded by Archbishop John Charles McQuaid in 1966 as an institute for the training and formation for teachers of religion in secondary schools in the Republic of Ireland. Clonliffe was also affiliated to the Angelicum in Rome that offered a three-year course leading to a diploma and a four-year course leading to a Masters; Fr. Joseph Carroll was its first president. Other Presidents of the College included Msgr. Michael Nolan, Dr. Dermot Lane and Sr. Eileen Randles IBVN(1986-1995). The foundation of the college was a response to the challenges posed by the Second Vatican Council. It had a Roman Catholic ethos and had approximately 800 students. The college closed on 30 November 2016 when it was fully incorporated into the DCU Institute of Education, within which is The Mater Dei Centre for Catholic Education (MDCCE) continuing its mission. The college offered several undergraduate courses, primarily in secondary religious education and specialized its postgraduate courses (including Doctorates) in religion, the humanities and education, and faith and culture as well as theology and philosophy in dialogue. The BA and MA in Religious Science were accredited by Maynooth(Pontifical University) which Mater Dei was affiliated to.In 1999 Mater Dei Institute of Education became a College of Dublin City University.In 2002 it established an Irish Studies Department and offered a BA programme in Religious Studies and Irish Studies. The Institute saw this as a contribution to the understanding what was engendered by the Good Friday Agreement. The Institute also had links with colleges in Northern Ireland, France, Italy and the USA. Mater Dei partners with the Methodist Edgehill Theological College (Belfast) co-offering such programmes as a BTh exploring faith together.In 2008 the relationship linking Dublin City University with All Hallows, St. Patrick's College of Education, Drumcondra and Mater Dei Institute of Education was revised. The Institute was engaged in the Erasmus student exchange programme with other colleges in Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal and Spain.

Holy Cross College (also known as Clonliffe College), located in Clonliffe Road, Drumcondra was founded in 1854 as the Catholic diocesan seminary for Dublin by Cardinal Paul Cullen (1803–78)
