Riva (also called Çayağzı) is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Beykoz, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 2,885 (2022). This place is the filming location of the Turkish TV show hit called Diriliş: Ertuğrul and its sequel Kuruluş: Osman. It is a coastal village in the Anatolian part of Greater Istanbul, situated between Anadolu Feneri and Şile. Çayağzı creek flows to Black Sea with in the village and there is a wide beach to the west of the creek. The distance to Beykoz center is about 16 kilometres (9.9 mi). Before the First World War, majority of the village population was composed of Greeks. But after the population exchange between Greece and Turkey in the 1920s, Greeks left the village and Turks from the Black Sea region settled in the village. Although a part of Greater Istanbul, the village still keeps some rural features. The Byzantine era Riva Castle sits on a hill where the Riva Stream (also known as the Rheba or Live Stream) meets the Black Sea. The headquarters of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) is located in Riva.

Rhebas (Ancient Greek: Ῥήβας) was a coastal town of ancient Bithynia located near the Euxine entrance to the Bosphorus, near the mouth of the Rhebas River. Its site is tentatively located near Rıva in Asiatic Turkey.

Riva Castle (Turkish: Riva Kalesi), is a Byzantine coastal fortification situated on a hill where Riva Creek meets the Black Sea in Riva, Beykoz, Istanbul. In Greek mythology, the leader of the Argo sailors, Iason, searching for the Golden Fleece received the iron anchor, hence the village was referred to as Ancyranum during the reign of the Eastern Roman Empire.The Ottoman Sultan Bayezid I referred to the importance of occupying it after taking over its neighboring castles, Yoros and Şile in 1391 AD (793 AH). It was first recorded in the archives as Revan Kalesi in 1778-1779 AD (1192 AH).

The Rhebas (Ancient Greek: Ῥήβας) was a very small river on the coast of ancient Bithynia, the length of which amounts only to a few miles (or km); it flows into the Euxine, near the entrance of the Bosporus, northeast of Chalcedon. This little river, which is otherwise of no importance, owes its celebrity to the story of the Argonauts. It also bore the names of Rhesaeus and Rhesus, the last of which seems to have arisen from a confusion with the Rhesus mentioned by Homer. Its site is identified with the Rıva deresi in Asiatic Turkey.

TFF Riva Facility, short for Turkish Football Federation Riva Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facility, (Turkish: Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu Riva Hasan Doğan Milli Takımlar Kamp ve Eğitim Tesisleri), is a facility of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) for camping and training purposes of all Turkish national football teams. It is located in Istanbul Province, Turkey. The facility is situated in Riva village of Beykoz district in the north of Istanbul Province west of Riva River. It was officially opened on July 4, 2014, and was named in honor of Hasan Doğan (1956–2008), whose presidency at TFF lasted only several months due to his unexpected death. Owned and operated by TFF, it consists of three building blocks; Block A for offices and conference rooms, Block B for health care and swimming pools and Block C for accommodation and restaurants. The covering area of the buildings is 17,857 m2 (192,210 sq ft). An open-air parking lot for 50 cars is available. The facility received a certificate in the Golden category of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standard.Three more football fields were built in addition to the initial four football fields. One field features hybrid grass ground, two fields have artificial turf ground and four are natural grass fields. All football fields have FIFA-standard soccer-specific stadium dimensions. The football fields are equipped with floodlights. Three football fields have 50-seat bleachers and football field #4 has a bleacher of 100-spectator capacity.The facility was built in 14 months on a plot, which was endowed to TFF on March 29, 2013. The ceremony took place on April 9, 2013. The cost of the construction amounted to ₺ 60 million. Spor Toto Organization contributed to the investment with ₺ 16 million.The facility hosts training, international friendly and official matches of national football, futsal, and amputee football teams of both gender and all age groups. 2017 European Amputee Football Championship matches, with the exception of the final match, were played at the facility.2022 Amputee Football World Cup matches were also played at the facility, exceptions included semi-final and final matches.

Anadolu Feneri is a historical lighthouse still in use, which is located on the Asian side of Bosphorus' Black Sea entrance in Istanbul, Turkey. Anadolu is the Turkish name for Anatolia. It is across from the lighthouse Rumeli Feneri, which is on the European side of the strait at a distance of 2 nmi (3.7 km; 2.3 mi). A connecting line between the two lighthouses marks the northern boundary of the Port of Istanbul. The place, where the lighthouse stands, is named Anadolufeneri, which today is a fishermen's village in Beykoz district.

Poyrazköy is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Beykoz, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 889 (2022). Poyraz lies at the exit of the Bosporus into the Black Sea, on the Asian side of the Strait. According to the Turkish government, the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, the right-hand pillar of the third Bosporus bridge is located here. The pillar on the left is on the European side in the village of Garipçe. The bridge is completed by August 26, 2016.

Rumelifeneri (named after the lighthouse Rumeli Feneri) is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Sarıyer, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 4,337 (2022).

Mochadion was a coastal town of ancient Bithynia located on the Bosphorus. Its site is tentatively located near Fil Burnu in Asiatic Turkey.

Örnekköy (also called Tepetarla), is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Beykoz, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 4,148 (2022).Örnekköy is situated in the forests in the Anatolian (Asian) part of Istanbul. It is about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) east of the city of Beykoz.

Rumeli Feneri, also Türkeli Feneri, a historical lighthouse still in use, is located on the European side of the Bosporus Strait's Black Sea entrance in Istanbul.

Chelae or Chelai (Ancient Greek: Χῆλαι) was a coastal town of ancient Bithynia located on the Bosphorus. Its site is located near Keçili Liman in Asiatic Turkey.
