Barton Seagrave is a large village and civil parish in the North Northamptonshire, England. The village is about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) south-east of Kettering, town centre. The older part of the village is known for its Norman Church and attractive buildings. The villages name means 'barley farm'. 'Seagrave' was added after the manor passed to Stephen de Segrave in 1220.

Clown Coaster is a children's steel coaster manufactured by Pinfari that opened at Wicksteed Park in Kettering, Northamptonshire, in October 2011. It previously operated in the Beaver Creek section of Pleasure Beach Blackpool from 1995 to 2008 as Circus Clown. The theming of the ride was a ride through a circus with Morgan the Clown. Prior to relocating to Pleasure Beach, Circus Clown operated for a season at Harbour Park.This ride was located in the Beaver Creek kids section of Pleasure Beach Blackpool, and opened in 1995. It was a simple track shape of an oval and contained only a few dips and the train was designed to look like a clown. The train consisted of four cars, each capable of seating four riders, the train normally did two laps of its oval shaped circuit. The Ride was sold to a Travelling Showman in late 2008 and the ride operated at New Pleasureland in Southport for the 2009 Season; however, the ride left before the 2010 season started. In April 2011, the ride resurfaced as it was confirmed that Wicksteed Park had bought the rollercoaster. It was also confirmed that the coaster was bought for £20,000 and the original clown theme would be kept, with an additional £130,000 to be spent on refurbishment before a grand unveiling during the October half-term break.

Wicksteed Park is a Grade II listed park in Kettering, Northamptonshire, England, which includes an amusement park within its grounds. The park is located in the south-east of Kettering, on the western edge of Barton Seagrave village. The park is owned by the Wicksteed Charitable Trust, with the amusement park being run by its trading subsidiary company Wicksteed Park Ltd (replaced by Wicksteed Trading Ltd after going into administration in 2020).

Wicksteed Park is a 14.2-hectare (35-acre) nature reserve in Barton Seagrave, on the eastern outskirts of Kettering in Northamptonshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.This site is in two areas, Wicksteed Water Meadows and Castle Field. Water meadows are flooded by people for agricultural purposes, unlike flood meadows which are under water when river levels are high. Flora include great burnet and marsh marigold, and there are also grass snakes.There is public access to Castle Field on the south side of Barton Road but not the water meadows on the north side.

The Latimer Arts College (formerly Latimer Community Arts College) is a foundation secondary school and specialist arts college located in Barton Seagrave, Northamptonshire, England, teaching students aged 11 to 18. The school has approximately 1020 students. The most recent Ofsted inspection from February 2018 judged Latimer as remaining Good. The school is also home to The Masque Theatre which is used by both the school and the community, and includes a recording studio and conference and meeting rooms.

Isham and Burton Latimer railway station was built by the Midland Railway in 1857 to serve the villages of Isham and Burton Latimer on its extension from Leicester to Bedford and Hitchin. It closed in 1950 and the building has since been converted into a house. Slightly north of it was a branch line which ran until 1959 to Thrapston and Huntingdon.

Barton Hall Hotel in Barton Seagrave near Kettering is a building of historical significance and is listed on the English Heritage Register. It was built in about 1550 and was the home of many notable residents over the next five centuries. Today it is a hotel which provides accommodation, restaurant facilities and caters for special events.

Kettering Town Football Club is a football club based in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire, England. They are currently members of the National League North, the sixth tier of English football, and play at Latimer Park in Burton Latimer. Kettering were the first club to wear sponsorship on their shirts in 1976.

Burton Park Wanderers Football Club is a football club based in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire, England. They are currently members of the Spartan South Midlands League Division One and play at Latimer Park.

Kettering Grammar School was a boys' grammar school (selective) that had a number of homes in Kettering, Northamptonshire throughout its history.

Tresham College of Further and Higher Education (formerly Tresham Institute of Further and Higher Education) is a further education college in the East Midlands of England. Specifically located within Northamptonshire, the main campus is located within the town of Kettering, alongside other campuses included within Corby and Wellingborough.

Southfield School (formerly known as Southfield School for Girls) is a girls' secondary school and coeducational sixth form with academy status, located in Kettering in the English county of Northamptonshire.Previously a foundation school administered by Northamptonshire County Council, the school converted to academy status in August 2011, and in 2021 it joined with Kingsthorpe College in Northampton as part of the Orbis Education Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust. The school continues to coordinate with Northamptonshire County Council for admissions. Southfield School offers GCSEs as programmes of study for girls. The school operates a coeducational sixth form, where students can choose to study from range of A Levels and BTECs. After a period of sustained improvement, becoming the best performing school in Northamptonshire, in 2021 Southfield was awarded the World Class Schools Quality Mark.
