Lower Cheung Sha Beach

Cheung Sha (Chinese: 長沙) is a rural area on the south coast of Lantau Island, New Territories, Hong Kong. Along the South Lantau Road, Cheung Sha is located between Tong Fuk (to the southwest) and San Shek Wan (to the northeast). The most notable feature of the area is the Cheung Sha Beach, the longest beach in Hong Kong.

San Shek Wan (traditional Chinese: 䃟石灣; simplified Chinese: 䃟石湾) is a small village located on Lantau Island, Hong Kong. On the most prominent hill west of the village itself, is a campsite managed by the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association. The village has a resident population of around 50 people, of which over half are expatriates.

Shan Shek Wan (Chinese: 䃟石灣) is a village in the south of Lantau Island, in Hong Kong.

Upper Cheung Sha Beach is a gazetted beach in Cheung Sha in southern Lantau Island, Hong Kong. The beach has barbecue pits and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The beach is rated as good to fair by the Environmental Protection Department for its water quality in the past twenty years. It is still the longest beach in Hong Kong.

Pak Kung Au (Chinese: 伯公坳), also known as Tung Chung Gap, Tung Chung Au (東涌坳), is a mountain pass along Tung Chung Road on Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It is located at the end of Stage 2 and the start of Stage 3 of the Lantau Trail, between Sunset Peak and Lantau Peak.

Tong Fuk Beach is a gazetted beach located on South Lantau Road in Tong Fuk, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. The beach is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The beach is 150 metres long and is rated as good to fair by the Environmental Protection Department for its water quality in the past twenty years. It is a popular holiday resort in Lantau Island.

Pui O Beach is a gazetted beach running along almost the entire shoreline of Pui O in Lantau Island, Hong Kong, facing Pui O Wan and neighbouring Chi Ma Wan Peninsula. The beach has barbecue pits and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong Government. The beach is 260 metres long and is rated as good to fair by the Environmental Protection Department for its water quality in the past twenty years. The water flow of Pui O Beach comes from the sea and nearby rivers, so Pui O Beach is the junction of fresh water.

Pui O (Chinese: 貝澳, or 杯澳), formerly Lo Pui O (螺杯澳), is an area on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. It is a popular destination for holiday camping in Hong Kong. Visitors may also rent village houses for leisure. Located in the South Lantau, there are four main villages in Pui O, they are Lo Wai (老圍), San Wai (新圍), Lo Uk (羅屋), and Ham Tin (鹹田). Pui O is located at the edge of Lantau South Country Park.

Tong Fuk (Chinese: 塘福, formerly 塘㙏) is a village and an area on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. It is a popular place for holiday recreation. Tong Fuk Beach, to the south of the village, is a popular local attraction alongside the other beaches of South Lantau.

Sunset Peak or Tai Tung Shan (Chinese: 大東山) is the third-highest peak in Hong Kong and the second-highest on the island of Lantau. It is situated within the Lantau South Country Park and the Lantau North Country Park and stands at a height of 869 metres (2,851 ft) above sea level. The second-highest of the territory and the highest on the island, the Lantau Peak, is located to its west.

Yi Tung Shan (Chinese: 二東山) is the ninth highest mountain in Hong Kong. It is situated east of Sunset Peak on Lantau Island, and is 747 m in height. Stage 2 of The Lantau Trail runs along the north side of its peak.

The Islands District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. It is part of the New Territories. It had a population of 170,900 in 2018.Hong Kong consists of a peninsula and 263 islands. The Islands District consists of some twenty large and small islands which lie to the south and southwest of Hong Kong. Notable areas that are part of the Islands District include Chek Lap Kok, the reclaimed island on which Hong Kong International Airport is located, Tung Chung on northern Lantau near the airport, and Discovery Bay, a large private residential area on eastern Lantau.
