The Lock Museum of America houses an extensive lock collection that includes 30 early era time locks, escutcheon plates from safes, a large number of British safe locks, door locks, padlocks, handcuffs and keys, and more. Located in Terryville, Connecticut, the museum is directly across from the original site of the Eagle Lock Company, founded in 1854. Major collections are displayed by company or theme. The Eagle Lock room contains over 1,000 locks and keys manufactured from 1854 to 1954. The Bank Lock Room comprises a selection of bank locks, vault locks, safe locks and time locks. The Corbin-Russwin Room contains a large display of ornate hardware. Several pieces are gold plated and enameled. One of the animated displays shows how a pin tumbler lock works. The Yale Room accommodates locks manufactured by the Yale Lock company from 1860 to 1950. One of the attractions here is the original patent model of the Mortise Cylinder Pin Tumbler Lock designed by Linus Yale Jr., in 1865.

Terryville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Litchfield County, Connecticut, United States, and is the largest village within the town of Plymouth. In the 2010 census, Terryville had a population of 5,387, out of 12,243 in the entire town of Plymouth. The village is named for Eli Terry Jr., the son of the well-known clockmaker Eli Terry Sr. Terryville is also home to the Lock Museum of America. There is a water wheel located in downtown Terryville that is dedicated to the son of Eli Terry Sr.

St. Casimir Parish - Roman Catholic Church in Terryville, Connecticut, United States. Founded in 1906. It is one of the Polish-American Roman Catholic parishes in New England in the Archdiocese of Hartford.In 2017, the parishes of Immaculate Conception, Saint Casimir, and Saint Thomas were merged by decree into the Parish of Saint Maximilian Kolbe. Since that time, these three churches have worked together to build a strong parish of believers in Jesus Christ while respecting the unique identity, rituals, traditions, and roots of each parish.

Terryville High School is a public high school that serves students living in Plymouth, Terryville, and Pequabuck, Connecticut. It is located at 33 North Harwinton Avenue in Terryville, Connecticut. It is the only school in town to offer grades 9−12. Originally located at former Prospect St School then, located at the site of what is now Eli Terry Jr. Middle School, a new Terryville High School building was completed and opened in January 2008.

The East Plymouth Historic District is a historic district in the town of Plymouth, Connecticut. It encompasses a small rural village in the northeastern part of the town, whose main focus is the 1792 St. Matthew's Church, one of the oldest surviving Episcopal church buildings in the state. The district runs along East Plymouth Road on either side of its junction with Marsh Road, and includes predominantly Greek Revival residential buildings erected in the early to mid-19th century. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Bristol Technical Education Center, or Bristol TEC, is a technical school located in Bristol, Connecticut. It is part of the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System. Bristol TEC receives students from many nearby towns.Unlike other Connecticut technical high schools, 11th and 12th grade students attending Bristol TEC during high school also retain enrollment in their sending schools. If attending Bristol TEC during their senior year, students receive a diploma from their sending school and a training certificate from Bristol TEC.Bristol TEC offers trade certificates in seven technology areas: Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts, Electronics, Health Technology, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration), Manufacturing, and Welding/Metal Fabrication. Students can also earn high school credits in English, math, and social studies. Students may be hired into entry-level positions while still in school via the Work-Based Learning program.Bristol Technical Education Center is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Council on Occupational Education (COE). Students applying to attend must complete an application found on the school's website, participate in a day of shadowing in their area of interest, and interview. Applicants are reviewed and notified of acceptance in April for the following school year.

The Witch's Dungeon Classic Movie Museum in Plainville, Connecticut, USA, is a collection of figures of classic movie monsters. The museum is owned by the Bristol-native Cortlandt Hull. Cortlandt is the great nephew of film actor Henry Hull. Josephine Hull, well known for her role in the classic film and stage play Arsenic and Old Lace, is also a relative. In 1966, Cortlandt's father helped him build the Swiss chalet-style building to house the museum. Cortlandt built life-size figures of classic movie monsters that were made of wax, fine wire mesh, papier-mache and polymers. The figures were later replaced with more accurate ones. The museum is open year round, weekend evenings. The new location for "The Witch's Dungeon Classic Movie Museum" is 103 East Main St in Plainville , CT 06062. The greatly expanded format allows for each figure to have its own backdrop and props. Additionally the museum features professional level lighting by Emmy award winning Bill Diamond. The heads of many of the figurines have been based on life-casts of the actual actors who portrayed them. Background sets and clothing are authentic to the era, with some costumes or props actually used in the original films. The Railroad Museum of New England is a railroad museum based in Thomaston, Connecticut. Through its operating subsidiary known as the Naugatuck Railroad, the museum operates excursion and freight trains on the Torrington Secondary between Waterville and Torrington. The Railroad Museum of New England name and trademark was adopted in 1987, as a result of reassessing the Connecticut Valley Railroad Museum's goals and visions (CVRM had been founded in the mid-1960s). Home to one of the largest collections of preserved historic railroad equipment in New England, RMNE and its predecessor organizations have been active since the 1960s.

Rockwell Park is a public park in Bristol, Connecticut. Located in a residential area west of downtown Bristol, it includes open spaces and woodlands on either side of the Pequabuck River. Park amenities include a swimming pool, sports fields, and a playground. Many of the park's buildings are built out of rustic cobblestone, and include several follies. The park, the city's first public park, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Muzzy Field is a stadium in Bristol, Connecticut adjacent to Rockwell Park. It has been in use since 1912 for both baseball and football. The brick-faced grandstand, with a capacity of 4,900 people, was built in 1939. It features a ring of tall pine trees that line the outside of the outfield wall and the grandstand. Muzzy Field hosts high school sports, primarily baseball and football. Three high schools use the field: Bristol Central High School, Bristol Eastern High School, and Saint Paul Catholic High School. Muzzy Field is the site of the football "Battle for the Bell" between Bristol Eastern and Bristol Central, held every Thanksgiving morning, with the winner claiming the bell for the following year. In summer, Muzzy Field hosts collegiate baseball teams: since 2015, the Bristol Blues of the New England Collegiate Baseball League; and formerly, the Bristol Collegiate Baseball Club (2010) and the Bristol Nighthawks (1994–1995), both of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.
