Walnut Beach

Silver Sands State Park is a public recreation area located on Long Island Sound in the city of Milford, Connecticut. The state park consists of 297 acres (120 ha) of beach, dunes, restored salt marsh, open areas and woods as well as the 14-acre (5.7 ha) bird sanctuary of Charles Island. The park offers swimming, picnicking, trails, boardwalks, and opportunities for bird-watching. It is managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

Jonathan Law High School is a public high school located in Milford, Connecticut, United States. It serves about 1,000 students in grades 9–12 in the Milford Public Schools system.

The Laurel Beach Casino is a historic meeting and entertainment facility at 102 6th Avenue in Milford, Connecticut. Built in 1929, it is the last surviving building of its type in the city, whose coastal villages once featured seven of them. The building is a Colonial Revival structure, featuring a wraparound porch, auditorium with stage, and a bowling alley. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.

The village of Devon is a neighborhood of the city of Milford, Connecticut, United States. It lies on the southwest corner of the city bordering Long Island Sound and the mouth of the Housatonic River. The village generally corresponds to the Third Voting District of Milford. The village features an Audubon Center overlooking the estuary.

Charles Island is a 14-acre (57,000 m2) island located roughly 0.5 mile (1 km) off the coast of Milford, Connecticut, in Long Island Sound centered at 41°11′28.32″N 73°03′18″W. Charles Island is accessible from shore via a tombolo (locally referred to as a sandbar), which is exposed at low tide. According to early local histories, the Sachem Ansantawae resided there during the summer months. European discovery of the island occurred in 1614 when Adriaen Block sailed through and mapped Long Island Sound. The island appears on his hand-drawn map found in The Netherlands National Archives.

Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus is a not-for-profit acute-care general medical, surgical community, and wound care hospital located in Milford, Connecticut.

Milford Ice Pavilion is a 1,000-seat skating rink in Milford, Connecticut. It is home to the Milford Indians co-op high school team, and Sacred Heart University Pioneers men's ice hockey team until 2016. The building opened in 1975 and was renovated in 1985. It also serves several local hockey high school and club level teams. It has been the home of the Sacred Heart hockey program since its inception in 1993. Its sister facility was the Northford Ice Pavilion in North Branford, Connecticut. However, ownership of the Milford Ice recently changed and the two facilities no longer are related (except for the snack bars).

The Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, Lauralton Hall, established in 1905 by the Sisters of Mercy, is an independent, Roman Catholic, all-girls high school at 200 High Street in Milford, Connecticut, United States. It is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hartford. It is the oldest Catholic college-preparatory school for girls in Connecticut. In August 2011, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places by the Connecticut Historic Preservation Council.The school's 30-acre campus is located a block from the Metro-North Railroad's Milford station.Students attend Lauralton Hall from nearly 40 cities and towns.

The Eells-Stow House is operated as a historic house museum at 34 High Street in Milford, Connecticut. Built as a private residence and with a construction history dating to c. 1700, it is believed to be Milford's oldest surviving building. It has a complex history of later additions and alterations. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. It is now owned by the Milford Historical Society.

The Milford Point Hotel is a former hotel building at 1 Milford Point Road in Milford, Connecticut. Built in 1847, it is one of the oldest surviving seaside coastal hotel buildings in the state. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It now serves as the visitors center for the Connecticut Audubon Society Coastal Center at Milford Point.

Milford station is a commuter rail stop in Milford, Connecticut, on the Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line and CTrail's Shore Line East.
