The Convento de San Juan de la Penitencia, also known as the Colegio de Doncellas pobres de San Juan de la Penitencia, is an Isabelline former convent building that was erected in 1514 in Toledo, Spain. The convent was established to rescue women from the street until they marry or to insert them into religious life. The convent was commissioned by Don Francisco Jiménez de Cisneros and built by architect Pedro Gumiel, combining elements of Moorish style with the Renaissance. The altarpiece was made by Alejandro Semini. The convent building suffered a devastating fire in 1936. It later served as a refuge for the homeless after the Spanish Civil War. The building currently houses the Music Conservatory and the Center for International Studies of the Ortega y Gasset Foundation.

The Iglesia de los Santos Justo y Pastor, popularly known as Iglesia de San Justo, is a church located in the city of Toledo (Castile-La Mancha, Spain). It was founded after the city was taken by King Alfonso VI of León and Castile in the 13th century. The city underwent transformations between the 14th and 18th centuries. This is a religious temple under the invocation of the holy children Justus and Pastor.

The Plaza de San Justo is a square located in the city of Toledo, in Castile-La Mancha, Spain. In the upper part of the city, halfway between the Alcázar and the Cathedral there is a square named after the Church of San Justo y Pastor. Of the same church and in that same square it says the legend of "The Christ of the Cutlery". There a sign where it read the legend where events are supposed to happen, or not. Also this small square houses other buildings of interest, such as the Palacio de Amusco and the Former Solís Sanatorium.

St Lawrence's Church (Spanish: Iglesia de San Lorenzo) is a ruined medieval church located in Toledo, Spain. It was built on the site of a mosque. The building as it survives is later, but preserves some mudejar features.

The Colegio de Nuestra Señora de los Infantes (College of Our Lady of the Infants) is a school in the city of Toledo (Castile-La Mancha, Spain). It was founded in the 16th century by Juan Martínez Silíceo, Archbishop of Toledo and later a cardinal, and was intended to provide a specialist musical education for the cathedral's young singers. The original building is protected by the heritage listing Bien de Interes Cultural, but the school relocated in the 1980s.

The Templar House in Toledo, is a residence in Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It was built and decorated between the years 1085 and 1114. The property was once owned by the Knights Templar, and founds use as a guest house in the 14th century.

The Church of San Lucas (Spanish: Iglesia de San Lucas) is located in front of the Bu hill at southeast of the city of Toledo, Castile-La Mancha, Spain. Behind a high wall, attached to the church, was located the old parish cemetery, where it is told that the last Mozarabs of the city were buried. Most probably it was built in Mozarab style in the 12th-century, in the 17th century a Baroque chapel was added to it housing the Virgen de Esperanza. The church is cited in a poem attributed to St. Ildefonsus, according to which it was erected in 641 by Evancio, a son of Nicholas, who married Blesila and who were the grandfathers of St. Ildefonsus. This documentary evidence cannot be confirmed and the building could even be a mosque adapted as a Christian church, due to the irregular arrangement of the south wall and the asymmetry of the immediate nave of the epistle. The church served one of the parishes of Toledo that had the privilege to maintain the Mozarabic Rite after the Reconquista.

The Iglesia de San Miguel el Alto is a building of medieval origin located in Toledo (Castile-La Mancha, Spain). Dedicated to St Michael, the church served one of the old Latin parishes of the city, but is now part of the parish of San Justo. It appears that it also had some relation to the Knights Templar who are believed to have had a guest-house in Toledo. The original 12th century building was extensively remodelled in the 17th century by Juan Bautista Monegro, but retains some Mudejar features, notably its tower from around the end of the 13th century.

The Teatro Rojas is a theater in the city of Toledo, Castile-La Mancha, Spain, inaugurated in 1879 on the old corral de comedias, Mesón de la Fruta. Its construction involved several architects. It is named for the local playwright Francisco de Rojas.

The Archdiocese of Toledo (Latin: Archidioecesis Metropolitae Toletana) is a Latin Church archdiocese of the Catholic Church located in Spain. They are also the Primates of Spain. It was, according to tradition established in the 1st century by James the Great and was elevated to an archdiocese in 313 after the Edict of Milan. The incumbent Metropolitan Archbishop also bears the title Primate of Spain and since 1937 the title General Vicar of the Armies (but the pastoral care for the Spanish armed forces is now provided, since 1986, by the Military Archbishopric of Spain)

The Alcázar of Toledo (Spanish: Alcázar de Toledo, IPA: [alˈkaθaɾ ðe toˈleðo]) is a stone fortification located in the highest part of Toledo, Spain. It is a large quadrangular building measuring 60 meters on a side, framed by four large towers 60 meters high, each crowned by the typical Madrid spire. Most of the building was rebuilt between 1939 and 1957 after the siege of the Alcázar during the Spanish Civil War.

The Primatial Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo (Spanish: Catedral Primada Santa María de Toledo), otherwise known as Toledo Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic church in Toledo, Spain. It is the seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Toledo. The cathedral of Toledo is one of the three 13th-century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain and is considered, in the opinion of some authorities, to be the magnum opus of the Gothic style in Spain. It was begun in 1226 under the rule of Ferdinand III, and the last Gothic contributions were made in the 15th century when, in 1493, the vaults of the central nave were finished during the time of the Catholic Monarchs. It was modeled after the Bourges Cathedral, although its five naves plan is a consequence of the constructors' intention to cover all of the sacred space of the former city mosque with the cathedral, and of the former sahn with the cloister. It also combines some characteristics of the Mudéjar style, mainly in the cloister, with the presence of multifoiled arches in the triforium. The spectacular incorporation of light and the structural achievements of the ambulatory vaults are some of its more remarkable aspects. It is built with white limestone from the quarries of Olihuelas, near Toledo. It is popularly known as Dives Toletana (meaning The Rich Toledan in Latin). The Mozarabic Chapel in the Cathedral of Toledo still uses the Hispano-Mozarabic Rite and music.
