Liceo José Victorino Lastarria (English: José Victorino Lastarria High School) is a Chilean high school located in Santiago, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile. It was established in June 1913.

Manuel Montt is an underground metro station on the Line 1 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It was opened on 22 August 1980 as part of the metro extension from Salvador to Escuela Militar. Initially its walls were covered with stoneware ceramic tiles of blue and orange colors, some of which loosen or fall off as a consequence of the 2010 Chile earthquake. The total replacement of its wall tiles is underway.

The Iglesia de la Divina Providencia (English: Church of the Divine Providence) is a church managed by the Sisters of Providence, in Santiago, Chile. It gives its name to the district of Providencia and also to Avenida Providencia. The church was originally declared as a National Monument in 1975, but this designation was revoked and again designated as a national monument in 1989.

Salvador is an underground metro station on the Line 1 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station is located beneath the Balmaceda Park and close to Salvador Avenue, which is named for the Hospital del Salvador. The station was opened on 31 March 1977 as the eastern terminus of the extension of the line from La Moneda. On 22 August 1980 the line was extended further east to Escuela Militar.

Providencia (Spanish pronunciation: [pɾoβiˈðensja], Spanish: "providence") is a commune of Chile located in Santiago Province, Santiago Metropolitan Region. Part of Greater Santiago, it is bordered by the communes of Santiago to the west, Recoleta to the northwest, Las Condes and Vitacura to the northeast, La Reina to the east, and Ñuñoa to the south. It belongs to the Northeastern zone of Santiago de Chile. Providencia is home to a large upper middle to upper-class population and it holds the region's highest percentage of population over 60 (22%). It contains many high-rise apartment buildings as well as a significant portion of Santiago's commerce. It is notable for its large, old and elegant houses inhabited in the past by the Santiago elite and now mostly used as offices. The municipality is also home to many embassies, including those of Canada, Poland, Hungary, Italy, France, Egypt, Russia, Japan, China, and Uruguay.

Pedro de Valdivia is an underground metro station on the Line 1 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. The station is named for the nearby Pedro de Valdivia Avenue, which in turn was named for Pedro de Valdivia. It was opened on 22 August 1980 as part of the extension of the line from Salvador to Escuela Militar.The platform level features a vaulted drop ceiling of stained glass. A second work of art is entitled La Ciudad (The City), which consists of four enameled steel murals placed on the walls of the four platform stairways. Both artworks were unveiled on January 13, 1999.

Balmaceda Park is an urban park along the Mapocho River in Providencia, Santiago de Chile. It was originally created under the name of Parque Japonés (Japanese Park) in 1930. When Chile joined the Allies during the World War II, its name was changed to Parque Gran Bretaña (Great Britain Park). Afterwards, the name was changed to its current name.The park is adjacent to Plaza Baquedano. Toward the west, the park continues into Santiago as Parque Forestal. On the opposite bank of the river is the Barrio Bellavista.

The Hospital del Salvador is a hospital in central Santiago, Chile. The hospital is located in the commune of Providencia.

University of the Americas (Spanish: Universidad de Las Américas), locally known as UDLA, is a private Chilean university. Founded in 1988, UDLA is currently the second largest by enrollment in Chile.

The Universidad Autónoma de Chile (UAutónoma) is a private Chilean university. It has campuses in Temuco, Talca and Santiago (Providencia and Llano Subercaseaux). It is affiliated to SUA (Single Admission System of Rector's Council of Chilean Universities.The university is accredited by CNA-Chile (National Accreditation commission) for a term of 4 years (a maximum of seven years), from October 2019 to October 2023. UA ranks as the 23rd best university in Chile according to webometric classification of CSIC (June 2017), 61st in Latin America according to the Times Higher Education Latin American University Rankings. Among Chilean universities is currently among the top 14 of Scimago Institution Rankings (SIR) 2020, 19th at national level and 747 at international level. UA has a television channel Universidad Autónoma de Chile Televisión.

The Academy of Christian Humanism University (UAHC) (Spanish: Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano) is a Chilean non-profit private university, founded in 1988 but whose origins date back to 1975 when establishing the Academy of Christian Humanism, led by Cardinal Raúl Silva Henríquez (SDB), whose purpose was to bring together a group of intellectuals to discuss the politics, society, economy and culture of Chile. This university, also known simply as La Academia (The Academy) is accredited in the areas of Institutional Management and Undergraduate Studies by the National Commission on Accreditation, an organization that ensures the quality of higher education in Chile, for a period of 3 years from December 2008 and December 2011. It, along with the Andrés Bello and Diego Portales University was awarded research funds from the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FONDECYT) program's regular contest of 2009. The University now offers 21 courses leading to diploma and degree graduates, special programs and 9 master's programs in the areas of Social Sciences, Education, Arts and Culture, State, Economy and Management, and also a PhD in Education with twenty years of experience.

The Uruguayan ambassador in Santiago de Chile is the official representative of the Government in Montevideo to the Government of Chile.
