Bellin College

Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran High School (abbreviated NEWLHS) is a Lutheran high school in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This school is part of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. NEW Lutheran has an enrollment of approximately 130 students. The school's history dates back to as early as 1975 when two parties had interest in starting a Lutheran High School within Green Bay. A survey was done within the LCMS churches in Brown County that showed great interest for a school. A meeting was held at Pilgrim Lutheran Church to form a committee that helped establish the school. In 1977, the schools inaugural year included 34 students. Throughout the next two decades, the school had changed its location three times before a building was officially constructed at the cul-de-sac on 1311 South Robinson Avenue in 1993.

Bellevue is a village in Brown County, Wisconsin. It was a town until incorporating as a village on February 14, 2003. The population was 14,570 at the time of the 2010 census. Preble High School is a public high school in the Green Bay, Wisconsin School District. The school serves students from Green Bay, Bellevue, and New Franken. The name comes from the former town of Preble, which is now part of northeastern Green Bay, and New Franken, Wisconsin.

Preble was a town in Brown County, Wisconsin, United States from 1859 to 1964. It ceased to exist as a jurisdiction in 1964, when by referendum it consolidated with the city of Green Bay.

Kolb (also called Kolb's Corner) is an unincorporated community located in the town of Ledgeview, Brown County, Wisconsin, United States. Kolb is located at the junction of County Highways G, V, and MM 7 miles (11 km) south-southeast of Green Bay. The community is named after Peter Kolb, who was the first postmaster when the post office opened in May 1887.

The University of Wisconsin–Green Bay (UW–Green Bay, UWGB, or Green Bay) is a public university in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with regional campuses in Marinette, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan. Founded in 1965, it is part of the University of Wisconsin System. As of Fall 2020, student enrollment was approximately 8970, including 8531 undergraduate students.Since its founding, the school had an environmental sustainability emphasis (nicknamed "Eco U" in 1971 by Newsweek), and offers associate, bachelor's, and master's degree programs, as well as a doctoral program, First Nations Ed.D. The university's mascot is the phoenix.

The Kress Events Center, also known as the KEC or the Kress, is a multipurpose athletic facility located in Green Bay, Wisconsin on the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay campus. The facility's main gym (Kress Events Center Arena) hosts the UW-Green Bay women's basketball and volleyball teams. Other facilities onsite include a fitness center shared by athletes and the student body, athletic training facilities, and the administrative offices of UW-Green Bay's athletics program.

The Weidner, also known as the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, WCPA, or Weidner Center is a performing arts center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay campus. Named after the university's first chancellor, Edward Weidner, the venue opened January 15, 1993.

The Cofrin Memorial Arboretum 290 acres (120 hectares) surrounds the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay campus in Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States. Its six miles (10 km) of trails are open to the public. Today's Arboretum began in 1971, when a long-range campus plan was drawn up, recommending the creation of a park-like arboretum and trail system. In 1975, a major contribution in honor of John and Austin Cofrin enabled development of the trails, additional property, and improvements in the botanical plantings. At present the Arboretum contains the following areas: Keith White Prairie 8.5 acres (3.4) maintained through prescribed burns. Grasses include big bluestem, Indian grass, and switch grass. Flower species include yellow cone flower, prairie dock, lupin, black-eyed Susan, spiderwort, and false indigo. Mahon Woods a remnant of the indigenous forests, with 59 species of trees and shrubs including oaks (Quercus alba, Quercus rubra), sugar maple (Acer saccharum), and white pines (Pinus strobus). Other species include trillium (Trillium grandiflorum), trout lilies (Erythronium americanum, Erythronium albidum), violets (Viola sororia, Viola pubescens), and toothworts (Dentaria laciniata, Dentaria diphylla). Oak Savanna scattered oak trees within fields of grasses and herbs. Paul Sager Tract 20 acres (8 hectares) including small natural springs, 2 ponds, and associated wetlands. Succession Plots 13 experimental plots ranging in age from 2 to 17 years of natural succession. At present, its plants include, in rough order of succession: lamb's quarters (Chenopodium album), ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia), foxtail grass (Setaria glauca), bluegrass (Poa pratensis), quackgrass (Agropyron repens), smooth brome (Bromus inermis), goldenrods (Solidago canadensis, Solidago graminifolia) asters (Aster novae-angliae, Aster ericoides), box elder (Acer negundo), cottonwood (Populus deltoides), quaking aspen (Populus tremuloides), sugar maple (Acer saccharum), American beech (Fagus grandifolia), eastern hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) and yellow birch (Betula alleghaniensis).

Brown County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 268,740, making it the fourth-most populous county in Wisconsin. The county seat is Green Bay, making it one of three Wisconsin counties on Lake Michigan not to have a county seat with the same name. Brown County is part of the Green Bay, WI Metropolitan Statistical Area.
