Springfield Furniture Company, also known as the General Warehouse Corp., is a historic manufacturing complex located at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. The original sections were built about 1895, and expanded through 1933. The complex consists of two large brick factory buildings with brick walls, flat roofs, and little architectural detailing.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Drury University, formerly Drury College and originally Springfield College, is a private university in Springfield, Missouri. The university's mission statement describes itself as "church-related". It enrolls about 1,700 undergraduate and graduate students in six master's programs and 1,279 students in the College of Continuing Professional Studies. In 2013, the Drury Panthers men's basketball team won the NCAA Men's Division II Basketball Championship. The Drury men's and women's Panthers have accumulated 22 NCAA Division II National Championships between them, in addition to numerous NAIA titles before moving to the NCAA.

Stone Chapel is a historic chapel located on the southwest edge of the Drury University campus, at the corner of Central and Benton Avenue at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. It was built in 1880 and is the oldest stone structure in Springfield. The chapel is the location for a number of religious activities for Drury University, such as the LOGOS Christian Fellowship, Catholic Campus Ministries, and Chow and Chapel events, weddings, graduation Baccalaureate and other various secular activities.The distinctive second floor sanctuary seats around 510 people. A large lounge, kitchenette, choir and meeting facilities occupy the first floor. The recently restored Lyon-Healy pipe organ dates from 1906. The three-manual, 30-rank instrument is utilized by a large class of organ students, for weekend weddings, for the popular Christmas Vespers, and for recitals and other special events in the chapel. The organ is well known for its rich sound, enhanced by the chapel's mellow acoustics.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Hammons Field is a minor league baseball stadium located in Springfield, Missouri, with a capacity of 7,986 plus approximately 2,500 general admission seating. The facility, funded entirely by local businessman, hotel mogul and benefactor John Q. Hammons, is the centerpiece of the midtown development project, Jordan Valley Park, on the corner of Sherman Avenue and Trafficway Boulevard. Completed in April 2004, it is home to the Springfield Cardinals, the Texas League affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals as well as the Missouri State University Bears. Hammons built the ballpark before he had a minor league team secured to play in the stadium, though he steadfastly assured local residents it would be the Double-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. He was ultimately able to persuade the Cardinals to purchase the El Paso Diablos franchise of the Texas League from the Brett Bros. and relocate it to Springfield. They became the Springfield Cardinals soon thereafter when the parent club ended its brief two-year affiliation with the Tennessee Smokies of the Southern League. In February 2023, the city of Springfield purchased Hammons Field and its surrounding parking lots for $12 million with plans to spend $4 million on stadium improvements.

Benton Avenue AME Church is a historic African Methodist Episcopal church located at 830 N. Benton Avenue in Springfield, Greene County, Missouri, USA. It was built between 1922 and 1926, and is a two-story tile block and brick church.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Jordan Valley Ice Park is a multi-purpose arena located in downtown Springfield, Missouri. The arena is owned and operated by the Springfield-Greene County Park Board and serves as a location for community recreation and the home for the Missouri State Ice Bears ice hockey team, and various youth sports programs. The arena opened in 2001 as Jordan Valley Ice Park. In 2008, it was renamed to Mediacom Ice Park, due to a $200,000 a year, 10-year naming rights agreement with Mediacom, a cable television and communications provider in the United States. This agreement expired in 2019, whereupon the arena reverted to its original name.

Bentley House, also known as the Museum of the Ozarks, is a historic home located at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. It was built in 1892, and is a two-story, Queen Anne style brick and frame dwelling. It has a complex roof of gables and hips projecting at right angles and accented by several dormers. It features a semi-detached tower with conical roof, projecting bays on primary and secondary facades, multiple porches, and a porte cochere. It was a single family home until 1964, dormitory for Drury College from 1965 to 1977, then home to the Museum of the Ozarks.: 2, 6 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Central High School is a high school located in uptown Springfield, Missouri. The school, a part of Springfield Public Schools, was Springfield's first high school to be built. Construction of the building was completed in 1893. The first graduating class graduated a year later in 1894 consisting of two out of the 76 seniors that were enrolled. The school was renamed Central High School after the construction of Springfield's second oldest high school, Parkview High School, in 1956. Central's mascot is a Bulldog, named Pug by the students at the time of his creation. Central is also the home to the Kiltie Drum and Bugle Corps. This corps was created by Robert Ritchie Robertson in 1926, and has the distinction of being the first all-female Scottish pipe and drum corps in the country.

Mid-Town Historic District is a national historic district in Springfield, Missouri, United States. It encompasses 455 buildings, 8 structures, and 7 objects in a predominantly residential section of Springfield. It developed between about 1871 and 1952, and includes representative examples of Late Victorian, Colonial Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman architecture, including the separately listed Bentley House and Stone Chapel. Other notable buildings include those on the Drury College campus, Central Christian Church (1926), St. Johns Episcopal Church (1886), Mary S. Boyd School (1911), and Trinity Lutheran Church (c. 1919).The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 with a boundary increase in 2002.

The Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Mosque (often known locally as "the Shrine Mosque" or simply "the Shrine") is a building of arabesque design located in downtown Springfield, Missouri, United States. It was built in 1923 for a cost of $600,000. It is owned by the Abou Ben Adhem Shriners and for many years was the site of the annual Shrine Circus. The five-story building includes a large auditorium with seating for over 4,000. The name derives from Ibrahim ibn Adham, taken from the poem "Abou Ben Adhem" by Leigh Hunt.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
