Mohamadia is a suburb of the city of Algiers in northern Algeria.

The Wadi El Harrach is an Algerian river that originates in the Bliden, Atlas Mountains near Hammam Melouane. It is 67 kilometres (42 mi) long and flows into the Mediterranean, right in the middle of the bay of Algiers. Oued El Harrach crosses the Mitidja plain from Bougara and irrigates agricultural areas all around, thanks in particular to its tributaries and canals, Oued Djemâa, Oued Baba Ali, Oued El Terro and Wadi Semar which crosses an industrial zone Of the eastern suburbs of Algiers. Its main tributary is the Oued El Kerma which increases the volume of the river thanks to the waters descended from the Algerian sahel.The Oued El Harrach has an average flow of 4 to 5 cubic metres per second (140 to 180 cu ft/s) but this can rise to 3,000 m3/s (110,000 cu ft/s) in times of flood.The river flows through 9 km (5.6 mi) of Industrial Area, in Algiers, and so is now very polluted. Pollution in the river now threatens the bay of Algiers, since in 2005 a study conducted by the Japanese researcher Mitsuo Yoshida discovered lead, chlorine, zinc and chromium in large quantities discharged into the sea.

1 November 1954 Stadium (Arabic: ملعب 1 نوفمبر 1954 ; French: Stade du 1er Novembre 1954) is a multi-use stadium in the El Harrach quarter of Algiers, Algeria. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of USM El Harrach. The stadium holds 8,000 people.The stadium is named for the date of the founding of the National Liberation Front, which obtained independence for Algeria from France.

El Harrach (Berber: ⵍⵃⴻⵔⵔⴰⵛ Arabic: الـحرّاش, formerly Maison-Carrée) is a suburb of the Algerian capital Algiers. The town is home to USM El Harrach football club and the Higher National Veterinary School is located in the area.

The National Polytechnic School or École Nationale Polytechnique (ENP) is an engineering school founded in 1925. The architectural diversity of the buildings reflects the different extensions and enlargements of the areas of expertise, teachings and research. A common misconception is to call the school the National Polytechnic School of Algiers while its official name is the National Polytechnic School abbreviated in French as ENP.The school was created in 1925 under the name of "Institut industriel d'Algérie", the aim of this establishment was to train senior technicians for large public services and industrial and public works companies. After the Second World War a training of aeronautical technicians in North Africa was created the ENPA, National Professional School of the Air by General Martin whose alumni continue to maintain a historical site and memory. Closed because of the Second World War, the school was reopened under the name École nationale d'ingénieurs d'Algérie. In 1962, the ENP hosted the first meetings of the provisional government of Algeria. After independence, it was transformed into the National Polytechnic School by the ministerial decree of June 25, 1963.

Students have the opportunity to prepare for an Engineer's degree in Agricultural Sciences (equivalent to a master's degree). ENSA is the oldest higher education institution founded in 1905 which is located in (El Harrach, Algiers). ENSA Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Algeria. (French: Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique), The Higher National Agronomic School (ENSA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as State Engineer's degrees (French: Diplome d'Ingénieur d'État), master's degrees, doctorate degrees.

Higher National Veterinary School (French: École nationale supérieure vétérinaire, ENSV, Arabic:المدرسة الوطنية العليا للطب البيطري), is a public institution of higher learning founded in Algeria in 1970, by Presidential Decree No. 65-69 of March 11, 1965. It is located in Hacène Badi - El Harrach 12 km east of Algiers.

Bachdjerrah (Arabic: باش جراح) is a commune in Algiers Province and a suburb of the city of Algiers in northern Algeria. As of the 2008 census, the commune had a population of 93,289.

El Alia Cemetery (Arabic: مقبرة العالية) is a cemetery in a suburb of Algiers in the commune of Oued Smar in Algeria. The name "El Alia" means in Arabic which is high, but came from the surname of the donor of the land in 1928, Hamza El-Alia.

Peñón of Algiers (Spanish: Peñón de Argel, Arabic: حصن الصخرة, romanized: ḥiṣn aṣ-ṣaḵra) was a small islet off the coast of Algiers, fortified by the Kingdom of Spain during the 16th century. The islet was connected to the African continent to form a seawall and the harbour of Algiers.
