Absalon's Church

Vesterbro/Kongens Enghave is one of the 10 official districts of Copenhagen Municipality, Denmark. The district has an area of 8.22 km² and a population of 53,351.

Sønder Boulevard (lit. "South Boulevard") is a boulevard in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark, whose broad central reserve has been turned into a linear park with various facilities for sports and other activities. It runs from Halmtorvet next to Copenhagen Central Station in the north east to the Carlsberg district in the southwest.

St. Mathew's Church (Danish: Sankt Mathæus Kirke) is the oldest and largest church in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located at the corner of Mathæusgade and Valdemarsgade and was completed in 1880 to design by city architect Ludvig Fenger.

Enghave Plads station is an underground Copenhagen Metro station located at Enghave Plads in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The station is on the City Circle Line (M3), between Copenhagen Central Station and Frederiksberg Allé, and is in fare zone 1. Nearby landmarks include the music venue Vega, Enghave Park and the shopping and restaurant street Istedgade.

Vesterbro is one of the 15 administrative, statistical, and city tax districts (bydele) comprising the municipality of Copenhagen, Denmark. It covers an area of 3.76 km2 (1.45 sq mi), has a population of 51,466 and a population density of 13,688 per km². Neighboring city districts are: to the northeast, the Indre By, also known as "Copenhagen Center", "Downtown Copenhagen" or "City". to the north, Frederiksberg municipality, which is not a part of Copenhagen municipality but rather an enclave surrounded by the municipality. to the west, Valby. to the south, Kongens Enghave.

Enghave Plads is a central public square of the Vesterbro district in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located where Istedgade reaches Enghavevej, which separates the square from Enghave Park.

Christ Church (Danish: Kristkirken) is a Church of Denmark parish church situated on Enghave Plads in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was designed by Valdemar Koch, who also built several other churches in Copenhagen around that time. Completed in 1900, it was the first new church to be opened in the fast-growing neighbourhood to relieve the pressure on St. Mathew's. Its style is inspired by Italian Romanesque church architecture.

Istedgade (also called Strassen) is a 1-kilometer straight street in the district of Vesterbro in the Danish capital, Copenhagen. It starts at Copenhagen Central Station and runs parallel to Vesterbrogade to Enghave Plads and Enghaveparken. From the station in the cheap hotel district, it runs through the porn, prostitution and drugs area to modern Vesterbro, where 1900s tenement style blocks have undergone significant modernisation. It is generally considered the heart of Vesterbro and was a main traffic artery until 2013 where the street had traffic reducing measures installed.

Tømmerlaugets Stiftelse is a historical building located at Valdemarsgade 11–13 in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built in 1880 to a design by Ludvig Vold, with inspiration from Gisselfeld, a 16th-century manor house. It was built by the Copenhagen Carpenter's Guild and served as dwellings for master carpenters in reduced circumstances and their dependants until 1922.

Westend is a street and Art Deco-style housing complex in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It links Vesterbrogade in the north with Mathæusgade and Otto Krabbes Plads in the south. It is accessed through a gateway in the building at Vesterbrogade 65–78 and is closed to car traffic in the other end.

The Apostle Church (Danish: Apostelkirken) is a church building of the Church of Denmark in the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen. It was built in 1901 by architect Valdemar Koch.

Skydebanehaven (English 'The Shooting Range Gardens') is a small public park in the heart of the Vesterbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Its name refers to the former shooting range of the Royal Copenhagen Shooting Society which used to be located on the site. The most distinctive feature of the park is the Neo-Gothic Shooting Range Wall which was constructed in 1887 to shield traffic on Istedgade from stray bullets. The other end of the park is bounded by the rear of the former headquarters of the Shooting Society, a Neoclassical mansion which has more recently housed the Museum of Copenhagen. Access to the park is either through a small gate in the Shooting Range Wall, through an unassuming gate next to Absalonsgade 14 (off Vesterbrogade), or a third gate at the northeastern and of Matthæusgade. The section of the park located closest to Istedgade is occupied by a public playground. The Vesterbrogade end of the park is dominated by lawns and flower beds.
