Pleasant Mount or Mount Pleasant is an unincorporated community in Miller County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The historic community was located along the current Missouri Route FF on a hilltop approximately one-half mile north of the railroad line. The current community of Mount Pleasant or Mt Pleasant is just south of U.S. Route 54, about three miles northeast of Eldon at 38°22′05″N 92°31′25″W.

Olean Railroad Depot is a historic train station located at Olean, Miller County, Missouri. It was built about 1884 and is a one-story, rectangular frame building with board and batten siding. The building measures 16 feet, 2 inches, by 40 feet, 3 inches. It has a gable roof with a four-foot-wide overhang supported by brackets all around and the gable ends are embellished by decorative truss work. The depot closed in 1962.: 5, 12 The railroad depot, which lent its name to the surrounding community, was named after Olean, New York after several other names the town tried to use ran into conflict with other towns on the rail route.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Etterville is an unincorporated community in northern Miller County, Missouri, United States. It is located six miles east of Eldon on U.S. Route 54.A variant name was "Etter". Some say Etterville was named after Samuel Etter, a liquor producer, while others believe the community has the name of the local Etter family. A post office called Etter was established in 1903, the name was changed to Etterville in 1904; and the post office closed in 2000.

The station serves the areas of Osage Beach, Missouri (as well as all the communities surrounding the Lake of the Ozarks) and Jefferson City, Missouri. KZWV's studio is located on Osage Beach Road in Osage Beach, with transmitting facilities just south of Eldon off of U.S. Route 54.

KBMX was a radio station on 101.9 FM in Eldon, Missouri, which broadcast between 1988 and 2001. KBMX went off the air when its licensee, Lake Broadcasting, Inc., had all of its licenses cancelled in response to a Federal Communications Commission investigation. The frequency was reactivated October 2, 2006 by a new and unrelated station, KZWV.
