Constitutional Court of Turkey

The Court of Jurisdictional Disputes (Turkish: Uyuşmazlık Mahkemesi, also translated as Court of Jurisdictional Conflicts) is one of the four higher courts in the Republic of Turkey. It is tasked with disputes between civil and administrative courts concerning their jurisdiction and judgments. Before the abolishment of military courts in 2017, the court also looked at the disputes involving the military courts.

The Ankara University Observatory (AUG) (Turkish: Ankara Üniversitesi Gözlemevi), is a ground-based astronomical observatory operated by the Astronomy and Space Sciences Department at Ankara University's Faculty of Science. Established in 1959 by Dutch astronomer Egbert Adriaan Kreiken in Ahlatlıbel, Ankara. Currently, it consists of nine optical telescopes and a radio telescope, which is currently taken out of service. Old instruments are displayed in a museum at the observatory.

There are also selective courses on advanced topics in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and analytical geometry. The school has an optional boarding system with a comprehensive study program. The 'Turkish Academic Network and Information Center (Turkish: Ulusal Akademik Ağ ve Bilgi Merkezi), shortly ULAKBIM, was founded as a research and development facility institute of Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) in Bilkent, Çankaya of Ankara, Turkey in 1996.ULAKBIM's main objectives have been set as operating a high speed computer network enabling interaction within the institutional elements of the national innovation system, and providing information technology support and information services to help scientific production. ULAKBIM aims at providing technological facilities such as computer networks, information technology support, and information and document delivery services, to meet the information requirements of universities and research institutions, and to increase the efficiency and productivity of their end users.Since February 1998, ULAKBIM consists of National Academic Network (Turkish: Ulusal Akademik Ağ, ULAKNET) Unit, which undertakes the task of formation and operation of research and education network infrastructure in Turkey, and Cahit Arf Information Center (Turkish: Cahit Arf Bilgi Merkezi), which provides information and document supply services nationwide. The center has issued a circular demanding the dismissal of any signatory of the a petition by the Academics for Peace who is assigned to an editorial board of a journal.

Lake Eymir is a small lake in Ankara Province, Turkey. According to notes of Seyyah Kandemir published by the governorate of Ankara in 1932, the lake was named after a Turkmen tribe named Eymür.

Gölbaşı International Billiards Complex (Turkish: Gölbaşı Uluslararsı Bilardo Kompleksi) is a sport facility for billiards established in Gölbaşı, Ankara, Turkey in 2021. It is also the headquarters of the Turkish Billiards Federation. The project for a billiards complex was worked out by the Turkish Billiards Federation in 2018. The construction began in January 2021 after the signing of a protocol between the district municipality of Gölbaşı, Ankara, the Billiards Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. It was built by the district municipality, and officially opened on 15 November 2021. The complex serves as a venue for billiards competitions at national, European, and world level. The complex consists of two buildings and a car parking lot. It has a total indoor area of 2,000 m2 (22,000 sq ft). The billiard hall building features separate entrance and exit areas for spectators and athletes, foyer, the tournament hall with spectator stands on both sides overlooking the entire hall, male and female athlete locker rooms, rest room for athletes before the match and during breaks, referee room, meeting room as well as cafeteria and kitchen.
