Baishizhou

Baishizhou station (Chinese: 白石洲站; pinyin: Báishízhōu Zhàn; Jyutping: Baak6 Sek6 Zau1 Zaam6; lit. 'White Stone Island station') is a station of Shenzhen Metro Line 1. It opened on 28 September 2009. It is located at the underground of the intersections of Shennan Dadao (Chinese: 深南大道) and Shahe Road (Chinese: 沙河路), Baishizhou, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China.

The Window of the World (Chinese: 世界之窗; pinyin: Shìjiè zhī Chuāng; Jyutping: sai3 gaai3 zi1 coeng1) is a theme park located in the western part of the city of Shenzhen in the People's Republic of China. It has about 130 reproductions of some of the most famous tourist attractions in the world squeezed into 48 hectares (118 acres). The 108 metre (354 ft) tall Eiffel Tower dominates the skyline and the sight of the Pyramids and the Taj Mahal all in proximity to each other are all part of the appeal of this theme park.

The Huiyun Center is a super-tall skyscraper in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. The building is 359.2 meters high and has 80 floors. Construction began in 2016 and was completed in 2023. This mixed-use building, which includes both office and hotel space, is part of the Shenwan Huiyun Center, a model district in Shenzhen that combines work, leisure and retail space and has good transport links.

Hi-Tech Park station (simplified Chinese: 高新园站; traditional Chinese: 高新園站; Jyutping: Gou1 San1 Jyun4 Zaam6), formerly Gaoxinyuan station, is a station on Line 1 of the Shenzhen Metro. It started operations on 28 September 2009. It is located underground at the intersection of Shennan Dadao (Chinese: 深南大道), Tonggu Road (simplified Chinese: 铜鼓路; traditional Chinese: 銅鼓路) and Kejinan Shilu (Chinese: 科技南十路), in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen, China. The station is named after the Shenzhen Hi-Tech Park (simplified Chinese: 深圳高新技术园; traditional Chinese: 深圳高新技術園), but the name has been criticized as inappropriate since it is actually closer to Dachong (simplified Chinese: 大冲; traditional Chinese: 大涌).

Window of the World station (Chinese: 世界之窗站; pinyin: Shìjièzhīchuāng Zhàn; Jyutping: Sai3 Gaai3 Zi1 Coeng1 Zaam6), formerly Shijiezhichuang station is a station on Line 1 and Line 2 of the Shenzhen Metro. The Line 1 platforms opened on 28 December 2004 and the Line 2 platforms opened on 28 December 2010. It is located underground at the north of Window of the World (Chinese: 世界之窗) in Shennan Dadao (Chinese: 深南大道), Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China. It provides access to two of the theme parks in Shenzhen, Window of the World and Happy Valley (simplified Chinese: 欢乐谷; traditional Chinese: 歡樂谷).

China Merchants Bank Tower Global HQ is a (Chinese: 招商银行全球总部大厦) is a mixed-use skyscraper building complex in Shenzhen, China. Built between 2019 and 2025, the complex consists of five towers with the tallest one (Main Tower) standing at 393 m (1,289 ft) tall with 77 floors which is the third tallest building in Shenzhen.

Shenzhen, a major city and Special Economic Zone in Guangdong, China, is home to over 443 completed skyscrapers taller than 150 m (492 ft), of which 184 are taller than 200 m (656 ft), making it the largest concentration of skyscrapers above 200 m in the world. The tallest building in Shenzhen is the Ping An Finance Centre, which rises 599 m (1,965 ft). The 115-story skyscraper also stands as the second-tallest building in China and the fifth-tallest building in the world. At 442 m (1,450 ft), the KK100 is the second-tallest completed building in the city. Shenzhen's high-rise building boom shows no signs of slowing down, with numerous proposals for skyscrapers taller than 150 m (492 ft). Skyscraper construction started in Shenzhen in 1978, at a time when the tallest building in the city was five stories tall. In the next decade, 300 high-rises were erected in the city, including the Guomao Building. It was the city's first skyscraper and was the tallest building in mainland China upon its opening in 1985. As Shenzhen's highrise construction boom progressed into the 1990s, the skyscrapers erected in the city became taller. In the decade spanning from 1996 to 2006, 18 buildings taller than 200 m (656 ft) were completed. The tallest of these is the Diwang Building (Shun Hing Square), the city's first building to exceed 300 m (984 ft) in height. Most of Shenzhen's skyscrapers are concentrated in the Luohu, Futian and Nanshan districts. Shenzhen's skyscraper boom is attributed to its status as one of the fastest-growing cities in the world.

Happy Valley Shenzhen (Chinese: 深圳欢乐谷) is a theme park in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. Opened in 1998, it is the first of the Happy Valley theme park chain. Covering an area of 350,000 square metres (86 acres), the park is composed of nine themed areas including Spanish Square, Cartoon City, Mt. Adventure, Gold Mine Town, Shangri-la Woods, Sunshine Beach, Typhoon Bay, Playa Maya Water Park and Happy Times. The Playa Maya Water Park is open for five months (May to October) each year, and is themed after the Mayan civilization with buildings and statues in Mayan architectural styles. Outside the park a Happy Line monorail train has a stop near the entrance of Happy Valley.

Dasha River (Chinese: 大沙河; pinyin: Dàshāhé) is a river in southwestern Shenzhen in Guangdong, China. It is 18.8 kilometres (11.7 mi) long and drains an area of 90.69 square kilometres (35.02 sq mi). It rises in Mount Yangtai, and flows generally southwest, passing through the Nanshan District and emptying into the South China Sea in Shenzhen Bay.

Hongshuwan station (simplified Chinese: 红树湾站; traditional Chinese: 紅樹灣站; pinyin: Hóngshùwān Zhàn; Jyutping: Hung4 Syu6 Waan1 Zaam6; lit. 'Mangrove Bay station') is a metro station on Line 2 of the Shenzhen Metro. It was opened on 28 December 2010.

OCT Tower (Chinese: 华侨城大厦) is a skyscraper in Overseas Chinese Town, Shenzhen, China. It is 300 meters tall and has 60 floors. It is the 15th tallest building in Shenzhen. It functions as an office building. The building was first proposed in 2013 and construction started in 2015 and the building was finished in 2019. The architect was Kohn Pedersen Fox.

MixC World (Simplified Chinese: 万象天地; Traditional Chinese: 萬象天地) is a mixed use urban redevelopment project in Nanshan, Shenzhen, situated on the site of former Dachong Village (Chinese: 大沖村). The site sits next to Dasha River (Chinese: 大沙河) and its riverside promenade, surrounded by a tech-business park known as Hi-Tech Park. China Resources Land, subsidiary of China Resources Group that operates numerous MixC-branded malls nationally, is the sole developer of this complex. New York-based firm Link-Arc was the masterplanner and CallisonRTKL (now part of engineering conglomorate Arcadis) was in charge of architectural design. The development comprises 5 office towers, one 10-storey indoor shopping center with an annex, and an open-air shopping and dining area. The complex was developed as a TOD (Transit Oriented Development), Level B1 of the mall is connected to Exit A of Hi-Tech Park station, on Line 1 of Shenzhen Metro.
