Skotterup

Snekkersten station is a railway station serving the district of Snekkersten in the southern outskirts of the city of Helsingør, Denmark. It is located on the Coast Line between Helsingør and Copenhagen and the Little North Line between Helsingør and Hillerød. The train services on the Coast Line are currently operated by Danish State Railways, whereas the railway company Lokaltog runs frequent local train services between Helsingør station and Hillerød station.

Snekkersten is a former fishing village and current neighbourhood in the southern part of Helsingør, Denmark. Snekkersten station is an interchange between the Coast Line between Copenhagen (to Copenhagen) and the Lille Nord railway to Hillerød. The distance from Copenhagen City Hall Square is approximately 45 km. Today, most of the inhabitants are commuters, either working in Helsingør or Copenhagen. The town is connected by a train line, Kystbanen, to Helsingør to the north, and Copenhagen and other communities in the south.

Vapnagård is a large housing project in Helsingør, Denmark. Approx. 4000 people live in the 57 concrete blocks. Each block has either 3 or 4 floors.

Helsingør Gymnasium (In English: Elsinore High School) is a high school in Elsinore, Denmark. It opened in 1978 in an existing set of buildings from the 60s. Earlier Espergaerde High School had the name "Elsinore High School".

The International People's College is a folk high school in Helsingør in the northern part of Zealand, Denmark, one hour from the capital city Copenhagen. It is a progressive residential international school that emphasizes community and teaches global awareness and tolerance. Up to around 110 students total, from many different countries around the world and varying ages as well, attend the school each term. Students choose to attend for a full or partial term in the autumn or spring, or for summer classes. The school is recognized by the United Nations Organization as a messenger of peace, and it has seen world leaders as students.

Brederode was a ship of the line of the Maas Admiralty, part of the navy of the United Provinces of the Netherlands, and the flagship of the Dutch fleet in the First Anglo-Dutch War. Throughout her career, she carried from 49 to 59 guns. She was named after Johan Wolfert van Brederode, the brother-in-law of stadtholder Frederick Henry, Prince of Orange.

Espergærde is a town situated in North Zealand near Øresund in Denmark and is statistically considered part of the larger urban area Espergærde-Snekkersten-Elsinore, some 5 to 8 km south of the centre of Elsinore and in reality separated from the urban area of Elsinore-Snekkersten by a 100 m wide unbuilt area, Egebæksvang forest and area under natural protection around Flynderupgård (previously a village, later a farm, today a museum). The urban area of Espergærde also covers the two former villages Tibberup and Mørdrup and part of the former fishing village of Skotterup, with 11.524 inhabitants (2008). Espergærde is well limited to the north by Egebæksvang forest and Flynderupgård, to the west by Rolighedsmoserne (swamp area) and Helsingørmotorvejen (motorway or highway), to the south by Krogerup mansion fields and Babyloneskoven (Babylone forest). Espergærde is part of Region Hovedstaden (the capital area). Espergærde has its own postal number, 3060, and is split in two parishes: Egebæksvang Parish (church nearby the old fishermans village) and Mørdrup Parish (church next to the urban centre).

Kingo Houses is a housing development designed by architect Jørn Utzon in Helsingør, Denmark. The development consists of 60 L-shaped houses based upon the design of traditional Danish farmhouses with central courtyards and those of Chinese and Islamic dwellings.

Gurrevejsstiftelsen, also known as Helsingør Kommunes Alderdomsstiftelse is a residential complex for senior citizens in Helsingør, Denmark. Built in 1918–1921 to design by Poul Holsøe, it is an early manifestation of the emerging welfare state and became a model for similar projects. It was listed in 1995.

The Spæth House is a Rococo-style mansion in Helsingør, Denmark. It was built by the first sugar manugacfurer in Helsingør and served both as residence and warehouse. The building is listed and now houses a public music school for local youth.

Helsingør Cemetery (Danish: Helsingør Kirkegård) is a cemetery in Helsingør, Denmark. It serves the parishes of St. Olai, St. Mary, Vestervang and Sthen. Founded in the second half of the 16th century, it was originally used as a burial ground for the poor but became the city principal cemetery in the 1820. It is bordered by Nygade, I.L. Tvedes Vej and Møllebakken.

Helsingør ( HEL-sing-UR, Danish: [helse̝ŋˈøɐ̯ˀ]; Swedish: Helsingör), classically known in English as Elsinore ( EL-sin-or, -⁠OR), is a city in eastern Denmark. Helsingør Municipality had a population of 63,399 on 1 January 2023. Helsingør and Helsingborg in Sweden together form the northern reaches of the Øresund Region, centered on Copenhagen and Malmö. The HH Ferry route connects Helsingør with Helsingborg, 4 km (2.5 miles) across the Øresund. Its castle Kronborg was used by William Shakespeare as the setting for his play Hamlet.
