KWIZ is not licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to broadcast in the HD Radio hybrid format, yet the HD Radio Guide indicates that KWIZ broadcasts on one HD channel.

Villa Park Dam is an embankment dam on Santiago Creek in Orange County, California in the United States. Along with the upstream Santiago Dam, the dam serves primarily for flood control for the cities of Villa Park, Orange, Tustin and Santa Ana and also regulates the inflow of Santiago Creek into the Santa Ana River. Construction was completed in 1963 (1963), and the dam is owned by the County of Orange.Standing 118 feet (36 m) high, the dam forms a reservoir with a maximum capacity of 15,600 acre-feet (19,200,000 m3), controlling runoff from a catchment area of 83.9 square miles (217 km2). Due to flood control requirements, the reservoir is typically at a very low level or empty during the dry season.

Peters Canyon Regional Park is a regional park within the Orange County Regional Parks System in California. The park contains 354 acres of southern California wildlife, including coastal sage shrub, riparian, freshwater marsh, and grasslands, and is located within the boundaries of both Orange, California and Tustin, California. Peters Canyon was given to this city in 1992 by the Irvine Company who had used it previously for cattle grazing. The canyon is lined with a residential area on one side and open hills on the other. This canyon is commonly used by hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians because of the trails that circumvent the 50 acre man-made lake, which was constructed by the Irvine Company in 1931, on the interior of the plot. The regional park is open from 7:00 AM to sunset every day of the week, save for the chance of rain or hazardous conditions, in which case the park will be closed for three days following the particular occurrence.The park has garnered local popularity in part for its convenient location (the canyon is in a suburban neighborhood), as well as its cleanliness and varied trail options. The management asks that visitors see protecting the park's wildlife, as well as any construction or park improvement efforts, as a shared responsibility.

Eldorado Emerson Private School (also known as Eldorado School and Emerson Choice Academy) was a co-educational private school in El Modena, Orange, California, United States. It was established in 1959 as a school for the gifted by Glory Ludwick. It closed permanently in June 2020.

The Peralta Hills are a ridge of hills in northeastern Orange County, California. The ridge technically begins with Burruel Point (685 feet) in the city of Orange, close to where Nohl Ranch Road meets the Costa Mesa Freeway (SR 55), although there are hills to the west of Burruel Point, extending into the vast alluvial plain of the Los Angeles Basin to the community of Olive, California, ending roughly at the intersection of Orange-Olive Road and Lincoln Avenue. The ridge gains in elevation eastward, with peaks of 500 to 1,000 feet, until it meets the Santa Ana Mountains along the eastern boundaries of the city of Anaheim, roughly at the Eastern Transportation Corridor (SR 241). The hills are divided from the Puente Hills (home to the community of Yorba Linda to the north) by the Santa Ana River. Robbers Peak (between Serrano Avenue and Weir Canyon) is the most notable peak within the Peralta Hills, and Weir Canyon the most notable canyon.

El Modena is an unincorporated community and neighborhood surrounding El Modena High School and within the city of Orange, California and the surrounding unincorporated county area. It is located near and east of the intersection of Hewes Street and Chapman Avenue. Much of the area was annexed by Orange in the 1960s and 1970s, but there are still enclaves of unincorporated county land to the east of the high school. The neighborhood is named after Modena, Italy, plus the Spanish article el.

Irvine Park is a 495-acre (200 ha) park in Orange, California. It became California's first regional park in 1897. When first opened, it was called Orange County Park, and was originally 160 acres which were gifted by James Irvine, the park's namesake.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and includes six contributing buildings, four contributing structures and four contributing objects.

Villa Park is a city in northern Orange County, California, United States. It was founded in 1962. At the 2010 census, the city had a population of 5,812, the lowest population for a city in Orange County. The city is largely zoned for single-family residences on lots that average about 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2), or 1⁄2 acre, in size. Within the city limits there is one small shopping center. City Hall, including a community room, and a branch of the Orange County Public Libraries system is adjacent to the city's only shopping center.

Rancho Lomas de Santiago was a 47,227-acre (191 km2) Mexican land grant given by Mexican Governor Pío Pico to Teodosio Yorba in 1846. The name means "Hills of St. James". The rancho included parts of present-day Irvine and Tustin in what is now eastern Orange County, California.

El Modena High School, colloquially called El Mo or ElMo, is a traditional four-year public high school located in the El Modena neighborhood of the City of Orange in Orange County, California. It is one of four high schools in the Orange Unified School District, along with Villa Park High School, Orange High School, and Canyon High School. Founded in 1966, its first class graduated in June 1968, the school celebrated its 50th anniversary during the 2016–17 school year. In 2019 construction began after district voters approved Measure S in November 2016.
