The Israeli Embassy in Berlin is the headquarters of the diplomatic mission of Israel in Germany. It is located in the Berlin district of Schmargendorf at Auguste-Viktoria-Straße 74. Since August 29, 2017, the Israeli ambassador to Germany is Jeremy Issacharoff.

Luna Park in the Halensee area of Berlin, Germany was an amusement park in operation from 1909 to 1933. At that time, it was Europe's largest. The park was closed for World War I but reopened after Armistice. Luna Park closed for the last time in October 1933.

The Institute for Advanced Study in Berlin (German: Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin) is an interdisciplinary institute founded in 1981 in Grunewald, Berlin, Germany, dedicated to research projects in the natural and social sciences. Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf (German: [ʃaʁˌlɔtn̩bʊʁk ˈvɪlmɐsdɔʁf] (listen)) is the fourth borough of Berlin, formed in an administrative reform with effect from 1 January 2001, by merging the former boroughs of Charlottenburg and Wilmersdorf.

Berlin Westkreuz (literally "Berlin West Cross") is a station in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin. It is served by the S-Bahn lines S3, S41, S42, S46, S5, S7 and S9 and so represents a major interchange point on the Berlin S-Bahn network. It lies at the opposite end of the Stadtbahn to Ostkreuz and is one of the four main stations on the Ringbahn (circle line). S-Bahn lines run from Westkreuz station in five directions: via the Berlin–Blankenheim railway to Wannsee and Potsdam, via the Spandau Suburban Line to Olympiastadion and Spandau, via the Ringbahn to Westend or Halensee and via the Stadtbahn to the city centre. Operationally, the station is made up of two independent operating points. The lower part is run as Berlin Westkreuz (Stadtbahn) station, abbreviated as BWKS, while the upper is run as Berlin Westkreuz (Ringbahn) station, abbreviated as BWKRR.

The power station Berlin-Wilmersdorf was a power plant in Berlin-Schmargendorf, which went into service in 1977, and has been shut down in 2021. Construction of the facility, which belongs to the BEWAG, started in 1973. At the time of construction, the three power engines are MS9001B gas turbines, manufactured in Belfort (France) by a cooperation between Alsthom and General Electric. It has three blocks with a power of 110 megawatts, each equipped with a 102-metre-high (335 ft) chimney. This very striking facility received an architectural prize in the 1980s. It is not located nearby a river and therefore must take its cooling water from underground. There was an explosion on January 2, 1992, in one of the blocks. It is run by Vattenfall Europe, a subdivision of Vattenfall.
