San Pietro alla Magione is an ancient church on Via Camollia in Siena, Italy. Documents attest to a church at the site since 998. It is built in stone, and preceded by a stairs and a Romanesque bell portal. The austere interior was restored in 1957 and contains a Gothic tabernacle from the second half of the 14th century, a Madonna with Saints John the Baptist and Peter by Diego Pesco, fragments of frescoes (Cruxifixion and Biblical Stories) by Cristoforo di Bindoccio and Meo di Pero. The chapel on the right was erected in 1523-26 as an ex voto for the passing of the plague; it houses a Martyrdom of St Donnino by Antonio Nasini, a fragment of a Madonna with Child attributed to Lorenzo Rustici.

Porta Camollìa is one of the northern portals in the medieval walls of Siena. It is located on via Camollia and opens inside the city into the Contrada of Istrice. Consisting of three arches; the inner arch is surmounted by a circular marble bas-relief with the Roman Catholic IHS Christogram inside a sun symbol (San Bernardino Christogram). The outer facade has the Medici heraldic shield with a stone arch added in 1604 by Alessandro Casolani and decorated by Domenico Cafaggi. The inscription was placed to record the entry of Ferdinand I de' Medici into Siena, and states Cor magis tibi sena pandit (Siena shows a heart that is bigger than this gate). The two central figures hold the Medici coat of arms.

All three palaces are owned now by the Monte dei Paschi di Siena, the oldest bank in the world, which arose in the Salimbeni palace.

Tracing its history to a mount of piety founded in 1472 (550 years ago) and established in its present form in 1624 (399 years ago), it is the world's oldest or second oldest bank, depending on the definition, and the fifth largest Italian commercial and retail bank.In 1995, the bank (then known as Monte dei Paschi di Siena) was transformed from a statutory corporation to a limited company called Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (Banca MPS). In 2016–17, BMPS was struggling to avoid a collapse, and it was bailed out again by the Italian government in July 2017. On 5 October 2018, BMPS announced the sale of its Belgian subsidiary, Banca Monte Paschi Belgio (BMPB), to a company participated in by funds managed by Warburg Pincus. The sale price was set at €42 million, subject to an adjustment mechanism. In 2020, BMPS had approximately 1,400 branches, 21,000 employees and 3.9 million customers in Italy, as well as branches and businesses abroad. A subsidiary, MPS Capital Services, handles corporate and investment banking.
