The Torre Colpatria (English: Colpatria Tower) is a 50-story skyscraper in the downtown area of Bogotá, Colombia. It is the fourth tallest building in the country. Constructed from 1973 to 1978 and opened in 1979, it has a total height of 196 metres (643 ft), becoming the tallest skyscraper of Colombia and holding that title until 2016, when the south tower of the BD Bacatá was topped off. The main headquarters of the Colpatria Bank are located in the building, and also a great number of other banks and financial corporations have offices in it. The building lies at the intersection of 26th street and 7th avenue, in the heart of the city's downtown. Since 1998, the Colpatria Tower was illuminated every night with thirty-six color changing Xenon lights. In 2012, the Dutch lighting company Philips replaced the old lights with a 120-metre (390 ft)-high LED system to improve the lighting of the building and project high-definition images. Because of that, and also because it was the tallest skyscraper in Colombia for almost 40 years, the building is a landmark in the country and dominates Bogota's skyline along with other structures such as the BD Bacatá, the World Trade Center, FONADE and Colseguros buildings.

Centro de Comercio Internacional is an office skyscraper located in Bogotá, Colombia. The building is 190m/623 ft, 50 floors. The building is another neighbor of the second largest skyscraper in Colombia, Torre Colpatria. Located inside this building are some of the offices of Davivienda Bank which recently obtained the rights of the building. When it was built, it was called Centro Las Americas.

The Planetarium of Bogotá is a cultural center and planetarium located in the International Center of Bogota, Colombia, within Independence Park. Its dome has a 23-metre screen cupola.

Museo Parque Central also known as Torre 2 Edificio Parque Central is a mixed-use skyscraper in Bogotá, Colombia. Built between 2016 and 2018, the tower stands at 185 m (607 ft) tall with 45 floors and is the current 7th tallest building in Colombia.

The Bogotá Museum of Modern Art (MAMBO) is a modern art museum located in Bogotá, Colombia. It was designed by architect Rogelio Salmona.

Central Cemetery of Bogotá (Spanish: Cementerio Central de Bogotá) is one of the main and most famous cemeteries in Colombia located in Bogotá. Houses several national heroes, poets and former Colombian presidents. It was opened in 1836 and was declared National Monument in 1984. Some of the sculptors of the mausoleums are Tenerani and Sighinolfi.

The Holy Week in Popayán, Cauca (Colombia), is the celebration of the Passion and death of Jesus Christ through daily processions continuously performed since the sixteenth century between Good Friday nights and Holy Saturday. This parade takes place in the ancient streets of the "White City". Religious images of Spanish, Andalusian, Quito, Italian and Payanes arranged on a wooden platform with 4 front and 4 back "barrotes" (bars) are carried in the shoulders of the "Cargueros". These images are representations of different episodes recounted in the Gospels on the Passion, Crucifixion and Death of Jesus Christ. Each performance is a "paso" (step). The steps are taken through the streets, a distance of a cross-shaped layout since the time of the Conquest, passing by the main churches and temples of the city. On September 30, 2009 it was declared a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by the UNESCO committee.

The National Museum of Colombia (Spanish: Museo Nacional de Colombia) is the National Museum of Colombia housing collections on its history, art, culture. Located in Bogotá downtown, is the biggest and oldest museum in Colombia. The National Museum of Colombia is a dependency of the Colombian Ministry of Culture. The National Museum is the oldest in the country and one of the oldest in the continent, built in 1823. Its fortress architecture is built in stone and brick. The plant includes arches, domes and columns forming a sort of Greek cross over which 104 prison cells are distributed, with solid wall façade. It was known as the Panóptico (inspired by the Panopticon prison) and served as a prison until 1946. In 1948, the building was adapted for National Museum and restored in 1975. The museum houses a collection of over 20,000 pieces including works of art and objects representing different national history periods. Permanent exhibitions present archeology and ethnography samples from Colombian artefacts dating 10,000 years BC, up to twentieth century indigenous and afro- Colombian art and culture. Founders and New Kingdom of Granada room houses Liberators and other Spanish iconography; the round room exhibits a series of oleos from Colombia painting history. Paintings by masters Débora Arango, Fernando Botero, Enrique Grau, Ignacio Gomez Jaramillo, Santiago Martinez Delgado, Alejandro Obregón, Omar Rayo, Andrés de Santa María, and Guillermo Wiedemann are part of the Permanent Collection.

Santamaría Bullring (Spanish: Plaza de Toros de Santamaría) is a bullring in Bogotá, Colombia, and it is currently used for bullfighting, although it has also been used for concerts and other cultural activities. The stadium holds 14,500 people and was built in 1931. This bullring is more commonly known as the Plaza de Toros Santamaría. Outside this bullring there is a statue honoring Pepe Cáceres, the famous Colombian torero. In 2012 the mayor of Bogotá, Gustavo Petro, announced entering into dialogue with the capital's community to ban bullfighting in the city and give the Santamaría Bullring another use, in addition to denying resources of public enterprises for such parties. In 2017, after 4 years of suspension, bullfighting returned to Santamaría Bullring because of Enrique Peñalosa's decision, the city's former mayor.

The Teatro Metropol is a theater for audiovisual and artistic performances in Bogotá, Colombia. Allowing 2,500 people standing or 1,100 people seated, it has the greatest capacity of any theater in the city of Bogotá. It was constructed in the 1970s, and has been remodeled carefully to make it a stage for performing high impact shows because it has the infrastructure, acoustics and technology necessary to make any kind of cultural shows. It has restrooms, boxes, and a food and meeting room. Originally it opened as a movie theater, splendor that is overshadowed by the appearance of multiplex cinema from different companies who marketed in malls. From 2016 it was rented to a Christian organization, which no longer returned to make concerts; and it is uncertain when they will return to this chamber concerts.

Santa Fe (Spanish pronunciation: [santaˈfe]) is the third locality of Bogotá, Capital District of Colombia. Santa Fe is part of the traditional downtown of the city of Bogotá, the area where the city was founded by Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada on August 6, 1538. This area once comprised Bogotá's total main urban area and was known as "Santa Fe de Bogotá" with its traditional neighbourhoods. Santa Fe hosts some of the main business areas in Bogotá, and is served by the Carrera Séptima, one of the main arteries of the city. The locality hosts most of Bogotá's skyscrapers. The International Center and the financial district along the Avenida Jiménez are also located within Santa Fe. The main streets of central Bogotá intersect in Santa Fe: Carrera Séptima, formerly known as Calle Real (Royal Street), Carrera Décima, Calle 26, Avenida Circunvalar, Avenida Caracas, Avenida Ciudad de Lima and Avenida Jiménez. Santa Fe also has a rural area located in the Eastern Hills of which Monserrate and Guadalupe are the main landmarks. The locality of La Candelaria was the location where Santa Fe de Bogotá was founded and is an enclave in the middle of the locality Santa Fe. La Candelaria was separated from Santa Fe after the creation of the Capital District.
