The Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL) is a parastatal company whose primary purpose is to make bulk electricity purchases and transmit the electricity along high-voltage wires to local and foreign distribution points. UETCL is the sole authorized national bulk energy purchaser and the sole authorized electricity importer and exporter in Uganda.

The Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority (URBRA) is a government-owned, semi-autonomous agency responsible for regulating, licensing, supervising, and controlling the retirement sector in Uganda, the third-largest economy in the East African Community. The authority is also responsible for issuing guidelines to allow the liberalization of the retirement sector in the country.

Afrexim Bank House, Kampala, also Kampala Afreximbank Africa Trade Centre (Kampala AATC), is a planned building in Uganda, that will serve as the regional headquarters of Afrexim Bank's Eastern Africa region, covering 14 countries: Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Rwanda, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Seychelles, Tanzania and Uganda.The building will host the Afreximbank Africa Trade Centre (AATC), for Eastern Africa. This comprises the permanent headquarters of the regional office, a five-star hotel, a business information centre, a conference centre and a technology incubation hub. The Kampala AATC is also expected to host offices of other global, continental and regional development and financial institutions.

Airtel Uganda Limited is a mobile communications and information technology services provider in Uganda. The company also offers mobile funds transfer and banking services known as Airtel Payments Bank. Airtel Uganda Limited is a subsidiary of Airtel Africa PLC.
