The Memorial of the Second Resistance Movement or Resistance Flag Monument in Prague, Czech Republic, is a monument of the Czech Republic flag. It is in dedication to the second resistance movement to the Nazi occupation of the Czechoslovakia from 1938 to 1945. It has an inscription with 'Postůj v úctě před památkou obětí a vítězů druhého odboje českého národa za svobodu vlasti' in English it is ‘Stay a moment in respect for the victims and winners of the Second resistance of the Czech nation for liberty of the homeland.’Sculptural work has been made by professor Vladimír Preclík, architectural work by architects Ivan Ruller, Martin Kareš and Robert Rais. Foundation stone for the memorial was laid on 4 May 2005.

The Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (AAAD, Czech: Vysoká škola uměleckoprůmyslová v Praze, abbreviated VŠUP, also known as UMPRUM) is a public university located in Prague, Czech Republic. The university offers the study disciplines of painting, illustration and graphics, fashion design, product design, graphic design, ceramics and porcelain, photography and architecture.

The Winged Lion Memorial (in Czech: Památník Okřídleného lva) was unveiled on 17 June 2014 at Klárov in Prague by the British Member of Parliament, Rt Hon Sir Nicholas Soames MP, grandson of Sir Winston Churchill. It was the only restaurant in Prague with the accolade, although in 2010 a restaurant in Hungary was awarded the star, ending Allego's claim as the only restaurant from the Eastern Bloc to have the star.The head chef was Andrea Accordi.

The Four Seasons Hotel in Prague is a part of the Four Seasons chain of hotels and resorts. It is located near Charles Bridge with a view of Prague Castle. The hotel opened on 9 February 2001. New modern Italian restaurant CottoCrudo was opened in March 2012. It is a 161-room hotel, including 20 suites. The Battle of Prague, which occurred between 25 July and 1 November 1648 was the last action of the Thirty Years' War. While the negotiations for the Peace of Westphalia were proceeding, the Swedes took the opportunity to mount one last campaign into Bohemia. The main result, and probably the main aim, was to loot the fabulous art collection assembled in Prague Castle by Rudolph II, Holy Roman Emperor (1552–1612), the pick of which was taken down the Elbe in barges and shipped to Sweden.After occupying the castle and the western bank of the Vltava for some months, the Swedes stopped assaulting the Old and New Town at the eastern bank when news of the signing of the treaty reached them. They still remained a garrison on the western bank until their final withdrawal on 30 September 1649. It was the last major clash of the Thirty Years' War, taking place in the city of Prague, where the war originally began 30 years earlier.
