Pachalam is a region in the city of Kochi in Kerala, India. Goshree bridge road at Marine Drive side ends at Pachalam. Pachalam can also be reached by Chittoor Road. Mulavukad island is on its west, Vaduthala and Chittoor island is on its north, Elamakkara at north east, Mamagalam and Palarivattom is on its east, Kaloor on southeast. It is also located between Marine Drive, Kaloor and Edapally acting as a connecting link between the most important places in Kochi. One of the main attractions near Pachalam is the famous Queen's Walkway, that connects Pachalam to the Gosree bridge Road and to Marine Drive. Although the roads are very narrow (except for the wide Pottakuzhy Road which is badly maintained), the traffic has increased, as roads inside Pachalam give a much needed respite to motorists who were looking an alternative to escape from the hardships of motoring through Banerjee Road especially during this phase of Kochi Metro construction. A Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies (KITTS) study centre is located in Pachalam.

Town Hall Metro Station is a station of Kochi Metro, formerly known as Lissie Metro Station. It was opened on 3 October 2017 as a part of the extension of the metro system from Palarivattom to Maharaja's College. The station is located between Kaloor and M. G. Road. The former name of the station refers to the name of the nearby Lissie Hospital, which, in turns, is derived from Thérèse of Lisieux. The station was renamed on 1 February 2020.

Muthoot Technopolis is an information technology park at Kochi, India. It has a built up space of 350,000 sq ft (33,000 m2) which has been fully occupied by Cognizant, Williams Lea and Sutherland Global Services. It is the Plot #1 in CSEZMuthoot Pappachan Group is planning on expansion in Kochi with phase II of the project and further developments in the vicinity. Muthoot also runs the Muthoot ceramics which is behind the Muthoot Technolpolis in Cochin Special Economic Zone, though CSEZ area is separated with Technopolis by wall.

Kaloor is a station of Kochi Metro. It was opened on 3 October 2017 as a part of the extension of the metro system from Palarivattom to Maharaja's College. The station is located between J. L. N. Stadium and Town Hall. The name of the station refers to the region of Kaloor.

Kaloor is a downtown region in the city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. It is two kilometres (1.2 mi) from the Ernakulam North Railway Station. Kaloor Junction is also the name of a major intersection in this part of the city, intersecting the two major arteries of downtown Kochi, namely Banerji Road and the Kaloor-Kadavanthra Road. The nearest major intersections are Palarivattom to the east and Lissie Junction to the west. Kaloor is especially notable for being home to the largest stadium in the state, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The stadium plays host to cricket and football tournaments and was one of the venues of the U-17 FIFA World Cup which was held in October 2017. Kaloor is also home to the Regional Centre of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The suburb leads directly to the temple town suburb of Elamakkara and is the birthplace of noted Malayalam poet Vylopillil Sreedhara Menon. It is well connected to all suburbs in Kochi and outlying areas and has its own bus terminus. The nearest railway station is Ernakulam North Station. The Ernakulam South Junction Railway Station and the state run KSRTC bus stand are also at reachable distance. The Kochi Metro has a station located at Kaloor Junction, making it easily accessible from both Aluva and Tripunithura sides of the city. Mathrubhumi and Deshabhimani, two of Kerala's biggest media houses also have their head office around the vicinity of Kaloor. The famous shrine of St. Antony is also situated in Kaloor. It holds its weekly novenas every Tuesdays, for which devotees of all faiths come from far and wide. The Kaloor market is also among the biggest in Kochi and is famous for the fresh produce and variety of meat and vegetables that are stocked by its merchants. In recent years, Kaloor has become a favorite hangout joint of youngsters, with the opening of numerous boutique cafes, hip ice cream parlors and specialty restaurants. The Kochi International Airport is 25 km (16 mi) from Kaloor. Kochi International Seaport and Cochin shipyard are around 14 km (8.7 mi) from Kaloor.

The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) is a public law school and a National Law University located in Kochi, India. It is the first and only National Law University in the State of Kerala and one of the 24 NLUs in India. Admissions to the university are done on the basis of the Common Law Admission Test. The National University of Advanced Legal Studies was established by the National University of Advanced Legal Studies Act, 2005, passed by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Kerala in 2005. The day-to-day management and administration of the university is undertaken by the Vice-Chancellor. K.C. Sunny is the current Vice-Chancellor of the university.

The Model Technical Higher Secondary School (MTHSS) is the pioneer in a group of Model Technical Higher Secondary Schools located in Kerala, India. These schools were established to provide education in the technological and hi-tech sectors. The schools are managed by the IHRD (Institute of Human Resources Development) and promote scientific advancement, technological progress and economic growth. The instruction is conducted in English.

The Mar Augustine Kandathil Memorial Lisie Hospital is a hospital near Kaloor, in Kochi, India. It was founded in memory of Mar Augustine Kandathil, shortly after his demise, according to his original vision and plans, in 1957, as a token of his devotion to St. Thérèse de Lisieux. It is managed by the Archdiocese of Ernakulam. Pennsylvaniat is a tertiary referral hospital and one of the largest in Cochin. The Lisie Heart Institute is a major interventional Cardiology and Cardiothoracic centre. It performed nearly 4000 interventional cardiac procedures and cardiac surgeries in 2006. Their team of doctors was reconstituted in 2008 with the joining of Jose Chacko Periappuram as the Head of Cardiac Surgery and Jacob Abraham as the head of Cardiac Anaesthesia. The present team was instrumental in performing the first total arterial bypass surgery on a beating heart and heart transplantation under Dr. Jose Chacko in the state of Kerala.

St. Albert's College is an autonomous liberal arts college located at Kochi, India. It has twenty three degree courses, twelve postgraduate courses and seven research centres. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the college at the "A" level with an aggregate score of 3.24. St. Albert's College (Autonomous) was ranked as one among the best hundred autonomous colleges in India.

J. L. N. Stadium is a station of Kochi Metro. It was opened on 3 October 2017 as a part of the extension of the metro system from Palarivattom to Maharaja's College. The station is located between Palarivattom and Kaloor. The name of the station is given because of the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The 11.2 km extension to Infopark via Kakkanad as a part of Kochi Metro project phase two begins from J. L. N. Stadium station. The corporate office of Kochi Metro Rail Limited is also located at this station.

M. G. Road is a station of Kochi Metro. It was opened on 3 October 2017 as a part of the extension of the metro system from Palarivattom to Maharaja's College. The station is located between Town Hall and Maharaja's College. The name of the station refers to Mahatma Gandhi Road.

St. Albert's HSS (St. Albert's Higher Secondary School) is a boys school at Banerji Road in Kochi, India. It was popularly known as St. Albert's High School till 1998, when it was upgraded to a higher secondary school. It is the oldest boys school in Kochi. It has 1800 students and 85 teachers and non teaching staff on a five-acre (2.0 ha) campus.
