Little Neshaminy Creek is a tributary of the Neshaminy Creek, part of the Delaware River Watershed rising near the intersection of U.S. Route 202 and Pennsylvania Route 309 near Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania and meets its confluence with Neshaminy Creek at the Neshaminy's 24.10 River mile.

Rushland, in the northwestern corner of Wrightstown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, was originally named for Joseph Sackett who came here in 1730. Called Sackett's Ford from 1750 to about 1800. Joseph Sackett built a grist mill store, and blacksmith shop near the Mill Creek where it joined the Neshaminy Creek. Some authorities claim that the name of the hamlet, first Rush Valley and later Rushland was due to the availability of "scouring rushes" used by early settlers for cleaning pots and pans. On December 29, 1883 a post office was established under the name Rush Valley. In 1894 the name was changed to Rushland. Located along the Mill Creek near Rushland was a settlement started by Italian immigrants who came to the area as laborers when the railroad was being built in the last decade of the nineteenth century. Their community became known as Little Italy. By forcing its way through a rocky cliff, the railroad opened a major industry for Rushland, the stone quarry, an industry that continues to this day. The New Hope & Ivyland Railroad passes through Rushland on the former Reading New Hope Branch and the old depot still stands to day.The Vansant Farmhouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Rushland is a defunct station on the Reading Company's New Hope Branch, originally known as Rush Valley. The station is currently on the line used by the New Hope Railroad. The station was built in 1891 and closed in 1952. The station still stands, though as of 2018 is vacant.

It is a primarily residential district, with a number of buildings representative of Late Victorian styles. They date between 1873 and 1931 and reflect Ivyland's development as a planned railroad suburb. The majority of the residential buildings are 2 1/2-story, frame structures with gable roofs, front porches, and irregular plans. One notable non-residential building is "The Temperance House" hotel (c. 1875).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

The John Thompson House is a historic house near Richboro in Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was built in 1740 and was owned by John Thompson, a local American Revolutionary War veteran. Despite also being known as the Hip Roof House, the house has an elongated-gambrel roof instead of a hip roof.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 16, 1973.John Thompson, born 16 Nov 1726 in County Tyrone, Ireland, immigrated to the US in the mid-1700s with his mother and three brothers. He served as an Ensign during the American Revolution in the Northampton Company of Associators. Son of Elizabeth (McGraudy) Thompson and brother of Robert Thompson who owned the now Historic Thompson-Neeley House in Washington's Crossing.John, a miller like his brother Robert, married Mary Houston (the twin sister of his brother William's wife) on 17 Feb 1762. They had nine known children: Elizabeth, Hugh, Jane, John, Robert, John, William, Thomas & James. He was commissioned Sheriff of Bucks county, March 22, 1777(3) and served until October 17, 1779, being the first Sheriff of Bucks county commissioned under the constitution of 1776. He was appointed wagon master January 9, 1778 ; sub-agent for purchasing flour for the French fleet, on July 13, 1779 ; and Collector of Excise on October 20, 1783. It's probable that his position as a commissioned officer, as well as the fact that he had funds in his hands collected for the use of that government, caused him to receive a visit from the "Tory Doans" during the Revolutionary War. Their animosity was generally directed towards tax collectors.At his death on 18 July 1799, he was one of the largest land owners in Bucks County with over 900 acres. According to his Will, his land was divided between his six sons. He was buried in the Presbyterian Graveyard, Newtown, Bucks County, PA.

Moland House (aka Washington's Headquarters Farm) is an old stone farmhouse built around 1750, by John Moland (b. 1700 London, England d. 1761), a prominent Philadelphia and Bucks County lawyer. Although physically located in Hartsville, Warwick Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, its mailing address is in Warminster Township, Pennsylvania. The house served as the headquarters for General George Washington during the American Revolutionary War from August 10 to 23, 1777 while on the way to the Battle of Brandywine. The encampment stretched along both sides of Old York Road, on the slope of Carr's hill to the north; both sides of Bristol Road from Mearns Road to Meetinghouse Road. The Battle of Crooked Billet ended near here on May 1, 1778. Moland House is owned by Warwick Township and is being restored and maintained by the Warwick Township Historical Society through grants from Warwick Township, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the federal government, plus by private foundations and individual donors. Restoration began in 1997, and although it is nearly complete, a number of projects remain to be funded.

Vansant Farmhouse, also known as Overlook Valley Farm, is a historic home located near Rushland, Wrightstown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The original section was built in 1768, and is a two-story stone structure measuring approximately 15 feet square, with a one-story kitchen addition. The main house was added about 1820, and is two-story, stuccoed-stone structure. A one-story porch was added in the 20th century.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
