Ivyland Historic District

Ivyland is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is known for one of the finest collections of Victorian buildings in the state and most of it is on the National Register of Historic Places. The population was 1,041 at the 2010 census, a 111.6% increase from the 2000 census.

Craven Hall is a historic building located in Warminster Township, Pennsylvania, at the corner of Newtown Road and East Street Road (Route 132), a five-lane arterial road which runs through the central commercial district. The house was originally built in 1780, with subsequent work in 1823 and a single story addition in the 20th century.

Warminster Township (also referred to as Warminster) is located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States and was formally established in 1711. It is 13.7 miles north of Philadelphia and had a population of 32,682 according to the 2010 U.S. census.

Delaware Valley High School (DVHS) is a for-profit company and private school operating the Bucks Campus in Warminster Heights, a community in Warminster Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania in Greater Philadelphia.Historically it was a system of private schools in Greater Philadelphia. Previously the school system had its administrative offices in Suite 1900 at Two Logan Square in Center City Philadelphia. In addition to the Bucks Campus, it previously operated DVHS Kelly in Northwest Philadelphia. As of 2012 David T. Shulick, a lawyer, owned the school system. He controlled it through Unique Educational Experiences Inc. and Shulick's law office was used as the headquarters of that company.

Warminster station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Warminster, Pennsylvania. It serves as the North end of the Warminster Line. The station is occasionally served by passenger trains operated by the New Hope Railroad, which has an interchange just north of the station with Pennsylvania Northeastern Railroad. Original electrification from Hatboro was extended to Warminster on July 29, 1974, replacing the former Reading Company Bonair station. This station is wheelchair ADA accessible.

Warminster Heights is a census-designated place and part of Warminster Township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA. It is located near the east border of Hatboro, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The population was 4,124 at the 2010 census.

Archbishop Wood Catholic High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The school was built in 1964 in Warminster Township in Bucks County.

William Tennent High School is a public high school serving grades 9 through 12, located in Warminster, Pennsylvania, US.The school is the only public high school serving Warminster and Upper Southampton townships and Ivyland borough in the Centennial School District, located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The school was named in honor of William Tennent, Presbyterian minister and founder of the original Log College, a very early theological school located in the colony of Pennsylvania. The first William Tennent High School building was located across the street from the current high school and when both were in use, the buildings were called William Tennent Intermediate High School (grades 9 and 10) and William Tennent Senior High School (grades 11 and 12) (the current school). Naval Air Warfare Center Warminster (IATA: NJP, ICAO: KNJP) was a U.S. Navy military installation located in Warminster, Pennsylvania and Ivyland, Pennsylvania. For most of its existence (1949–1993), the base was known as the Naval Air Development Center (NADC) Warminster, but it has also been referred to as Johnsville Naval Air Development Center, NADC Johnsville or simply, Johnsville.

The Log College, founded in 1727, was the first theological seminary serving Presbyterians in North America, and was located in what is now Warminster, Pennsylvania. It was founded by William Tennent and operated from 1727 until Tennent's death in 1746, and it graduated proponents on the New Side of the significant Old Side–New Side Controversy that divided presbyterianism in colonial America at the time. The Log College was, as a physical structure, very plain, according to George Whitefield's journal; it was a purely private institution and had no charter, though as a ministers' training college it was innovative, insofar as its founding was at a time when there were few college-educated ministers in North America. In sources dated through the early 20th century, it was referred to as a remarkable institution, with graduates including Samuel Finley, John Redman, and John Rowland. Though the number of eventual graduates is unknown (perhaps being 20 or fewer), many would play important roles in the Old Side–New Side Controversy, and Log College alumni Samuel Blair, Samuel Finley, and William Tennent, Jr. would become trustees of a newly formed College of New Jersey, which would be renamed Princeton University in 1896.

Hartsville is a populated place situated at the crossroads of Bristol Road and the Old York Road straddling Warminster and Warwick Township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Hartsville was named for Colonel William Hart who served during the Revolutionary War. He relocated to the village in the late 1700s and opened a new inn which he called "The Sign of the Hart."Hartville was the name of the station stop on the Pennsylvania Northeastern Railroad, later renamed Ivyland.A Presbyterian church was located in Hartsville from 1839 until 1939, when it merged with another church and the Hartsville building was torn down. The church had its own cemetery.The Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection includes an 1843 cut-paper silhouette portrait of a Hartsville resident identified as Mrs. James P. Wilson.The Hartsville Fire Company is site of a 9/11 Memorial.In 2019, water from private wells in the community was reportedly unsafe to drink because of contamination by per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) chemicals, possibly from toxic waste from closed military facilities nearby.

Northampton Municipal Park is a municipal park located in Churchville, Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It is 89 acres (36 hectares) large. There are recreation and picnic facilities at the park in addition to an amphitheater.
