Pannenhuis is a Brussels metro station on line 6. It is located in Laeken, in the northwest of the City of Brussels (Belgium). It opened on 6 October 1982 and is named after Rue du Pannenhuys/Pannenhuisstraat, which is just to the west, in the municipality of Jette.

Bockstael is a Brussels metro station on line 6. It opened on 6 October 1982 and is named after the Place Émile Bockstael/Émile Bockstaelplein in Laeken, in the northwest of the City of Brussels (Belgium), where it is located. Prior to the opening of the extension to Heizel/Heysel metro station in 1985, the station was the western terminus of former line 1A (now line 6). The station allows transfer to and from suburban railway line 50 to Aalst and Dendermonde via Belgian Rail. A two track railway station with side platforms is integrated into the subway complex and replaced Laeken's old railway station, located about 200 metres (660 feet) eastwards.

René Magritte Museum (French: Musée René Magritte, Dutch: René Magritte Museum) is a museum in Jette, a municipality in Brussels, Belgium, devoted to the Belgian surrealist painter René Magritte. The museum is located at 135, rue Esseghem/Esseghemstraat, in the house where Magritte lived and worked for 24 years, between 1930 and 1954.The ground floor of the house there is an apartment where Magritte and his wife Georgette lived, whereas the first and the second floors display the biographical exposition.Magritte and his wife moved in 1954 to a bigger apartment in Schaerbeek, which, as they thought, was in better agreement with their social status. The testament of Magritte's wife, however, indicated that the house in Jette is the most important for the biography of Magritte. In 1993, André Garitte, an art collector and a fan of Belgian surrealism, bought the house, restored it, and in 1998, celebrating 100 years of Magritte, the museum was open to the public. In 2009, the museum reopened after an extensive restoration.

The Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF), previously named Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film (French: Festival international du film fantastique de Bruxelles, Dutch: Internationaal Festival van de Fantastische Film van Brussel) was created in 1983 as a venue for horror, thriller and science fiction films. It takes place in Brussels, every year in March. Initially organized by Annie Bozzo, Gigi Etienne, Freddy Bozzo, Georges Delmote and Guy Delmote, it now has prizes in both feature-length and short films, and also hosts an international body-painting competition. The festival is accredited by the FIAPF as a competitive specialised film festival. Winners of the grand prize, the Golden Raven statuette, include Army of Darkness, Radioactive Dreams, and Dog Soldiers.

Tour & Taxis (French: Tour et Taxis, Dutch: Thurn en Taxis) is a large former industrial site in Brussels, Belgium. It is situated on the Brussels Canal in the City of Brussels, just northwest of the city centre, immediately adjacent to Laeken and Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, and about 1 kilometre (0.62 miles) west from the Northern Quarter business district. The site is composed of large warehouses and offices surrounding a former freight station and its spacious central hall, known as the Royal Depot (French: Entrepôt Royal, Dutch: Koninklijk Pakhuis). The main buildings on the site are made of brick, glass and wrought iron, and are prime examples of 19th-century industrial architecture. Though the site was long disused following its loss of importance as a shipping and customs hub, it has been partially restored, and is now used for large cultural events, which have included Couleur Café Festival, the Brussels Design Market, BRAFA Art Fair, Art Brussels, The Color Run Belgium and Salon du Chocolat, as well as for office space.

Located in the north-western part of the region, it is bordered by the City of Brussels, Ganshoren, Koekelberg, and Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, as well as the Flemish municipalities of Asse and Wemmel. Located in the north-western part of the region, it is bordered by Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, Ganshoren, Jette and Molenbeek-Saint-Jean. In common with all of Brussels' municipalities, it is legally bilingual (French–Dutch). On 1 January 2006, the municipality had a total population of 18,157. The total area is 1.17 km², which gives a population density of 15,486/km2 (40,110/sq mi). The municipality—the smallest in the Brussels region by population—is dominated by the Basilica of the Sacred Heart (or Koekelberg Basilica), one of the largest Roman Catholic churches in the world.

It opened on 2 October 1988 and is located on Boulevard Léopold II/Leopold II-laan in the municipality of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, in the western part of Brussels (Belgium). It takes its name from the Belgian noble family De Ribaucourt and De Ribaucourt park and castle.
