İskender Pasha Mosque (Turkish: İskender Paşa Cami) is a historic mosque located in the Kanlıca neighborhood of the Beykoz district of Istanbul, Turkey. Located across the Kanlıca Pier, the mosque was commissioned by (military judge) Kazasker Gazi İskender Pasha and designed by the imperial architect Mimar Sinan in 1559–60. The mosque has a hipped roof and has been extensively rebuilt. The tomb of İskender Pasha is situated inside the mosque's courtyard.

The Kanlıca Cemetery (Turkish: Kanlıca Mezarlığı) is a burial ground located on the Asian part of Istanbul, Turkey. It is administered by the Metropolitan Municipality. Many prominent figures from the world of media and music rest here. Situated on a hillside east of Kanlıca neighborhood of Beykoz district overlooking Bosphorus, it is also known as the "Mihrimah Sultan Cemetery" (Turkish: Mihrimah Sultan Mezarlığı) after Mihrimah Sultan (1522–1578), the daughter of Ottoman sultan Suleiman the Magnificent (reigned 1520–1566).

Mihrabat Nature Park (Turkish: Mihrabat Tabiat Parkı) is a nature park located on the Asian part in Beykoz district of Istanbul Province, Turkey.Situated southeast of Kanlıca neighborhood of Beykoz next to the Bosphorus, it covers an area of 20.12 ha (49.7 acres). It was established in 2011.The nature park offers outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, cycling and picnicing for visitors on daily basis. There are open-air basketball courts and football field. Access to the nature park is at Mihrabat Cad. 50. Admission is charged for visitors and vehicles. An open-air restaurant and a snack bar serve the visitors. Use of the nature park for events like weddings, music concerts and meetings is also permitted.

The Khedive's Palace (Turkish: Hıdiv Kasrı, "Khedive Palace"), also known as Çubuklu Palace (Çubuklu Sarayı), is located on the Asian side of the Bosphorus in Istanbul, Turkey, and was once the residence of Khedive Abbas II of Egypt and Sudan. In English it is also known as the Khedive's Pavilion or the Khedive's Mansion.The 1,000 m2 (11,000 sq ft) palace stands on a hiltop within a large grove of some 270 acres (110 ha) above the Çubuklu neighborhood in the Beykoz district, overlooking the Istanbul Strait.Completed in 1907, the three-storey palace was designed in Art Nouveau style, taking its inspiration from Italian villas of the Renaissance. However, it also incorporated elements of neo-classical Ottoman architecture. The east side is square, while the south and northwest sides feature crescent-shaped porticoes. The high, square tower is a unique feature visible from the opposite shore of the Bosphorus.Several ground-floor rooms encircle a central hall, with one large hall featuring a fine fireplace. There are two bedrooms on the upper floor. Many of the walls, ceilings and marble capitals are carved with fruit, flowers and hunting animals reflecting European tastes. Stained glass is featured throughout. A monumental fountain inside the main entrance rises all the way to the roof. The rooftop terrace is accessible via a historic steam-operated elevator. The gate is decorated with gilded flowers.There are other fine fountains and pools in the grounds. The rose garden is one of the largest in Istanbul.A copy of the palace was built on the shore of the Nile in Egypt.

The Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge ("Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror Bridge"; Turkish: Fatih Sultan Mehmet Köprüsü, abbreviated as F.S.M. Köprüsü), also known as the Second Bosphorus Bridge (İkinci Köprü), is a bridge in Istanbul, Turkey spanning the Bosphorus strait (Turkish: Boğaziçi). When completed in 1988, it was the 5th-longest suspension bridge span in the world. The bridge is named after the 15th-century Ottoman Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror, who conquered the Byzantine capital, Constantinople (Istanbul), in 1453. It carries the European route E80, Asian Highway 1, Asian Highway 5 and Otoyol 2 highways. There are three other bridges that connect Europe and Asia located in Turkey which are named Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, 15 July Martyrs Bridge (formerly known as Bosphorus Bridge) and 1915 Çanakkale Bridge.

Emirgan Pier (Turkish: Emirgan İskelesi) is a historic passenger ferryboat pier located in Emirgan neighborhood of Sarıyer district in Istanbul Province, Turkey. It serves ferries in Istanbul running between Çengelköy and İstinye on Bosphorus.The pier went into service in 1851 as the most of the piers on Bosphorus. The pier, which as situated at that times in front of the Emirgan Mosque, underwent an essential reparation in 1897. In 1900, a new pier was built a little bit south of it by the new owner of the ferryboat line, the Ottoman company "Şirket-i Hayriye", and the original pier was removed. Even though the pier was called sometimes "Mirgün Pier" and then "Uluköy Pier", it held its current name.The pier was closed down in March 1989, and demolished remaining inaccessible 12 years long during the widening works of the Bosphorus coastal street. After construction of a new pier building again in wood on piles that began in June 2001, it was reopened on November 24, 2001.Emirgan Pier is 16.11 m (52.9 ft) long. It is 1.20 m (3.9 ft) above sea level. The water depth at the site is 7.70 m (25.3 ft).

Emirgan Mosque (Turkish: Emirgan Cami), officially Emirgan Hamid-i Evvel Mosque (Ottoman Turkish: Emirgan Hamid-i Evvel Cami) is an 18th-century Ottoman mosque located in the Emirgan neighborhood of the Sarıyer district in Istanbul, Turkey.The mosque was built in 1781 by Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid I (reigned 1774–1789) in memory of his early-died son Mehmed and the mother of his son Hümaşah Kadınefendi. The mosque is officially named after the sultan's name in Ottoman language. Originally, it was part of a complex consisting of a still-existing square fountain, and non-existent structures like a Turkish bath, a bakery and a mill. The complex was constructed on the place of a former coastal palace owned by Emirgüneoğlu Yusuf Pasha. The current mosque was rebuilt by Sultan Mahmud II (r. 1808–1839), the son of Abdul Hamid I.The architectural style details and the decorations of the mosque comply with the architecture of Empire Period (1808–1876) of the Mahmud II era rather than with the Baroque Period (1757–1808) architecture of the Abdul Hamid I era. Apparently, no part of the mosque building is original except the inscription dating the first construction by Abdul Hamid I in 1871, which is kept on place as a sign of respect.The square-plan mosque was built in a courtyard in ashlar masonry with a wooden roof. The big windows in two rows on each side bring natural lighting into the mosque. A cylindrical slim minaret with one balcony erected on a square base is situated south of the mosque. The Acanthus-type foliage ornaments and other decorations on the minaret, typical of 19th-century minarets, indicate that it underwent modifications. A two-story sultan's pavilion is attached to the mosque's eastern wall with a separate entrance. A bay window, supported by six columns, served as relaxation room for the sultan. According to a two-line poetic inscription written in Thuluth on top of the shadirvan situated at the northern corner of the mosque's courtyard, it was endowed by Rebgigül Hanım, the head of female servants in the house of Mümtaz Kadın, a spouse of Wali and Khedive of Ottoman Egypt Kavalalı Mehmet Ali Pasha (r. 1805–1848).

Emirgan is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Sarıyer, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Its population is 8,290 (2022). It is a leafy, middle-class suburb of Istanbul, on the western shore of the Bosphorus north of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge (Second Bosphorus Bridge). City bus lines #22, #22RE, #25E, #40T and #42T stop in Emirgan. Infrequent Şehir Hatları ferries connect Emirgan with Eminönü, Beşiktaş, Arnavutköy, Bebek, İstinye, Büyükdere, Sarıyer and Rumeli Kavağı. A separate ferry service links it to Çengelköy, Kandilli, Anadolu Hisarı and Kanlıca. Small private boats also travel back and forth between Emirgan and Kanlıca depending on demand.

The Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum (Turkish: Sakıp Sabancı Müzesi) is a private fine arts museum in Istanbul, Turkey, dedicated to calligraphic art, religious and state documents, as well as paintings of the Ottoman era. The museum was founded by Sakıp Sabancı, and was opened in June 2002. Aside from permanent exhibitions, the museum also hosts national and foreign temporary exhibitions and, hosts cultural events on the weekends. Recently the museum gained worldwide attention when it exhibited the works of Pablo Picasso and Auguste Rodin.
