Asbury Park is an NJ Transit railway station in Asbury Park, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. It is served by trains on the North Jersey Coast Line. It is located along Cookman Avenue between Main Street and Memorial Drive. The current Asbury Park station is one of two original Asbury Park stations on the line. The North Asbury Park station still exists, but is no longer a station stop; the former station was located at the Sunset Avenue crossing.

The Upstage Club was a legendary coffee shop, music venue, and afterhours club in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The club is featured in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Influential musicians such as Bruce Springsteen, Bill Chinnock, Southside Johnny (John Lyon), David Sancious, Little Steven Van Zandt, Garry Tallent, Vini Lopez, and Danny Federici first honed their live performance skills at the club. It was where the Asbury Jukes, Steel Mill and the Blackberry Blues Band were formed.

The Turf Club is a historic music venue located on the west side of Asbury Park, New Jersey undergoing building improvements as of 2023. It is the last remaining venue along Springwood Avenue, a once-thriving African-American business and entertainment district.

Winsor Building is located in Asbury Park, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1904 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 13, 1979.

The Steinbach–Cookman Building is located on Cookman Avenue in the city of Asbury Park in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The historic commercial building was built from 1896 to 1897 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 8, 1982, for its significance in architecture and commerce. The five story brick building features Second Renaissance Revival architecture. It was the flagship store of the Steinbach department store chain. It was listed as a contributing property of the Asbury Park Commercial Historic District on September 30, 2014.

The Saint is a music venue located in Asbury Park, New Jersey, United States. It is reminiscent of places like The Cellar Door in Washington, DC, CBGB, CB's 313 Gallery, and The Living Room in New York City, and features live, original music. The Saint was founded by Adam Jon Weisberg along with business partner Scott Stamper, and opened its doors on November 18, 1994. Stamper bought out Weisberg in 2013 and became the sole owner. He is also a co-founder (along with Weisberg and Gordon Brown) of the Wave Gathering Music Festival.

Ocean Grove is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) that is part of Neptune Township, in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It had a population of 3,057 at the 2020 United States census. It is located on the Atlantic Ocean's Jersey Shore, between Asbury Park to The north and Bradley Beach to the south. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Ocean Grove is noted for its abundant examples of Victorian architecture and the Great Auditorium, acclaimed as "the state’s most wondrous wooden structure, soaring and sweeping, alive with the sound of music".Ocean Grove was founded in 1869 as an outgrowth of the camp meeting movement in the United States, when a group of Methodist clergymen, led by William B. Osborn and Ellwood H. Stokes, formed the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association to develop and operate a summer camp meeting site on the New Jersey seashore. By the early 20th century, the popular Christian meeting ground became known as the "Queen of Religious Resorts." The community's land is still owned by the camp meeting association and leased to individual homeowners and businesses. Ocean Grove remains the longest-active camp meeting site in the United States.

Asbury Park Public Schools is a comprehensive community public school district headquartered in Asbury Park, New Jersey, United States, serving children in pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade. The district is one of 31 former Abbott districts statewide that were established pursuant to the decision by the New Jersey Supreme Court in Abbott v. Burke which are now referred to as "SDA Districts" based on the requirement for the state to cover all costs for school building and renovation projects in these districts under the supervision of the New Jersey Schools Development Authority.Students from nearby Allenhurst, Loch Arbour and Interlaken no longer attend the district's schools as part of a sending/receiving relationship.As of the 2020–21 school year, the district, comprised of four schools, had an enrollment of 1,771 students and 175.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.1:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "A", the lowest of eight groupings. Trinity Church, also known as Trinity Episcopal Church, is located at 503 Asbury Avenue in the city of Asbury Park in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. Built from 1908 to 1911, the historic Late Gothic Revival stone church was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 6, 2014, for its significance in architecture.

It is part of the New York metropolitan area.As of the 2020 United States census, the city's population was 15,188, a decrease of 928 (−5.8%) from the 2010 census count of 16,116, which in turn reflected a decline of 814 (−4.8%) from the 16,930 counted in the 2000 census.In 2022, Asbury Park's beach was named one of the best in the world by Money and one of the best in the country by Travel + Leisure.Asbury Park was originally incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 26, 1874, from portions of Ocean Township.
