Westmoreland station (DART)

Hampton station or Hampton Road station is a DART Light Rail station Dallas, Texas. It is located in the Oak Cliff neighborhood at Hampton Road and Wright Street. It opened on June 14, 1996 and is a station on the Red Line, serving the nearby YWCA and Sunset High School.

Kiest Park is a 263-acre (106 ha) park in southern Dallas, Texas, United States, established in 1931 by Edwin John Kiest, publisher of the Dallas Times Herald and a member of the Dallas Park Board in the 1930s who donated the land for the park. Named in memory of Kiest's late wife, artist Elizabeth Patterson Kiest, it is the largest City of Dallas Park in Oak Cliff and features hike-and-bike trails, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, playgrounds, picnic tables and several Works Progress Administration-era structures, including stone gates at three entrances to the park, a stone picnic shelter and a stone field house. The WPA also built a formal garden at the heart of Kiest Park. A pergola was built at the head of the garden in 1934 with WPA funds but fell into ruin and was cleared away. The nonprofit organization Friends of Oak Cliff Parks restored the historic garden and the City of Dallas rebuilt the pergola in 2014 based on the original plans, using $2 million in bond funds. In 2017, the nonprofit Texas Recreation and Park Society named Kiest Park a Lone Star Legacy Park, which marks it as “a park that holds special prominence in the local community and the State of Texas.” The same year, the park became the site of Spanish artist Casto Solano's sculpture honoring Oak Cliff natives Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimmie Vaughan. The Vaughan family home was located at 2557 Glenfield Avenue, one-half mile away.

Justin F. Kimball High School is a public secondary school in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas, United States. It enrolls students in grades 9–12, and is a part of the Dallas Independent School District. The school is named in honor of Justin Ford Kimball, a prominent citizen of Dallas, Texas, former school superintendent, and founder of a predecessor of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.It serves a section of Cockrell Hill.

Cockrell Hill is a city in Dallas County, Texas, United States. The population was 4,193 at the 2010 census, and 3,18 in 2020. It is completely surrounded by the city of Dallas.

Cockrell Hill Transfer Location is a bus-only station located along Jefferson Boulevard, west of Cockrell Hill Rd. in Dallas, Texas (USA). Unlike many transit centers, Cockrell Hill Transfer Location does not provide parking, however it does provide indoor seating in an air conditioned facility available during weekday rush hours.

Wynnewood is one of the main neighborhoods of Oak Cliff, the southwestern part of Dallas, Texas, United States. Wynnewood covers 820 acres (3.3 km2). The village was once known for buildings having old decorative wood flooring.The United States Air Force, Air Defense Command, maintained a Filter Center in the Wynnewood Professional Building, during the late 1950s. The filter center recorded all air traffic (and many tornadoes) in its 72,000 thousand square mile area of responsibility, which reached from Muleshoe in the west, to Ranger in the east, and up to the Red River, and Lake Texoma.

Kessler Plaza is a neighborhood located in the northern Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas (USA). It is the southernmost of the "Kessler" neighborhoods.Development of Kessler Plaza began in the 1930s and continued into the 1950s. Architectural styles range from eclectic Tudor to colonial revival to ranch style. The last parcel of land was developed in the 1970s, reflecting a contemporary mode. Kessler Plaza is noted for its picturesque cottages that display brick or Austin stone exteriors. Tenth Street and Marvin Avenue have the largest concentration of these cottages. Most have two bedrooms, although newer homes in the area have three.As one of the older Oak Cliff neighborhoods, Kessler Plaza has remained desirable over the years. Many residents belong to the Kessler Plaza Neighborhood Association, founded in 1993 as well as the Old Oak Cliff Conservation League, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving older homes and strengthening neighborhoods in the Oak Cliff area.

Dallas College Mountain View Campus (often stylized as Mountain View or MVC) is a public community college in Dallas, Texas. It is part of Dallas College. The campus opened its doors in 1970 and features an enrollment of about 11,500 credit students and another 9,000 continuing education students. It also offers more than 35 degree and certificate programs. Trini Garza Early College High School, an early college senior high school of the Dallas Independent School District, is on the college property.

Sunset High School is a public secondary school located in the North Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas, United States. The school enrolls students in grades 9-12 and is a part of the Dallas Independent School District (DISD). The school serves a portion of the Dallas and Cockrell Hill catchments. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

Bishop Dunne Catholic School is a college preparatory middle and high school located in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas (U.S.). In 2004, it was awarded the National Blue Ribbon School Lighthouse Award in regards for its continued academic excellence and dedication to the students of southern Dallas. It is the only Catholic school with grades 6 through 12 to hold an exemplary accreditation rating from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department (TCCED).

Trinidad "Trini" Garza Early College High School is an early college senior high school in the grounds of Mountain View College in Dallas, Texas. It is a part of the Dallas Independent School District. It was one of the district's first early college high schools. It was originally named Early College High School at Mountain View College but was given its current name, after Mexican American community advocate and former DISD board member Trinidad "Trini" Garza, in 2010.

L.O. Daniel is a neighborhood in northern Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas (USA). It is named for Lark Owen Daniel. The neighborhood is bounded by Hampton Road on the west, Jefferson Boulevard and Sunset Hills on the south, Rosemont Avenue and Winnetka Heights on the east and Davis Street (SH 180) and West Kessler on the north. The Stevenswood annex includes Bison Trail and Stevens Woods Lane & Court to the east of Oak Cliff Boulevard.
