Poultney Main Street Historic District

The Poultney Central School is a historic former school building on Main Street in the village center of Poultney, Vermont. Built in 1885, it is a high quality example of Late Victorian Italianate architecture executed in brick. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, and has been converted into residential use.

Poultney is a village in Rutland County of the U.S. state of Vermont. The village is entirely within the town of Poultney. The population was 1,079 at the 2020 census. Poultney was home to the former Green Mountain College.

The South Street Bridge is a historic Pratt truss bridge, carrying Vermont Route 31 across the Poultney River just south of the village center of Poultney, Vermont. Built in 1923, it is one of a small number of surviving Pratt through trusses in the state, and one of just three that survives from the period before the state's devastating 1927 floods. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009 as Bridge 4.

Green Mountain College was a private liberal arts college in Poultney, Vermont, at the foot of the Taconic Mountains between the Green Mountains and Adirondacks. The college was affiliated with the United Methodist Church and offered a liberal arts undergraduate education with a focus on the environment, and some graduate degrees. For part of its history it was a women's college. It was founded in 1834 and closed at the end of the 2018–19 academic year.

The Asahel Kidder House, is an historic house at 1108 South Main Street in Fair Haven, Vermont. Built about 1843, by the efforts of a prosperous local farmer, it is a remarkably sophisticated expression of Greek Revival architecture for a rural setting. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Home Farm, also known as the Mirriam-Bartholomew House, is a historic home and farm complex located at East Whitehall in Washington County, New York. The house was built about 1840 and consists of a two-story, five-bay, center entrance brick main block with a rear brick kitchen wing in the Greek Revival style. The farm complex has 17 contributing resources including a frame cow barn complex, a timber frame horse and carriage barn, a light frame creamery, a light-frame sugar house, and a brick smoke house.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The William Miller Farm is a historic farm property on County Road 11 in Hampton, New York. It is a historic district that encompasses the home of William Miller, who was a Baptist preacher credited with beginning the mid-nineteenth century North American religious movement that was known as the Millerites. After his prophetic interpretations did not happen as he expected, new heirs of his message emerged, including Seventh-day Adventists and Advent Christians. Later movements found inspiration in Miller's emphasis on Bible prophecy. The property includes Miller's farmhouse, a chapel he built for Adventist worship, and Ascension Rock, the place where some of his followers gathered to await the Second Advent on October 22, 1844. The chapel and Ascension Rock were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 as William Miller Chapel and Ascension Rock. The historic district's boundaries were increased in 1994 to include Miller's farmhouse and a portion of his agricultural properties.

Town–Hollister Farm is a historic home and farm complex located on the western side of the hamlet of North Granville in Washington County, New York. The property is of both historical and architectural significance. The farm encompassing 275 acres includes a Federal-style farmhouse built around 1810 and multiple 19th and 20th-century agricultural-related structures which illustrate the agricultural activities of the farm and offer information on the vernacular design and timber framing practices of the region. The property was recommended to the New York State and National Historic Registries in 2007 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The Lemuel Haynes House is a historic house on County Road 27 in the village of South Granville, New York. Built in 1793, it was the home of Lemuel Haynes (1753-1833), the first African-American clergyman ordained in North America, from 1822 to 1833. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1975. The house was purchased from Charles Halderman as a private residence in 2009 by Bo Young and William J. Foote and is not normally open to the public.

South Granville Congregational Church and Parsonage is a historic church and parsonage at 7179 NY 149 in Granville, New York. It was started in 1843 and was added to the National Register in 2005.
