Gyldenløvesgade is a street in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs from Jarmers Plads in the south east to a Y junction at the western side of The Lakes, linking H. C. Andersens Boulevard with Aaboulevarden and Rosenørns Allé. The last section of the street runs on an embankment which separates Peblinge Lake to the north from Sankt Jørgen's Lake to the south. The Lake Pavilion overlooks Peblinge Lake on the north side of the street.

Vesterport Station (Danish pronunciation: [ˈvestɐˌpʰoɐ̯ˀt stæˈɕoˀn]) is a S-train station in the centre of Copenhagen, Denmark. The station is located in the district of Indre By, and is named after the historic Vesterport city gate, although it is located quite a distance from the original location of the city gate. It opened in 1934. The station is situated below ground level on the Boulevard Line, just before the tunnel connecting Copenhagen Central Station and Østerport Station.

Imperial has the largest single screen in Northern Europe with 1002 seats, which is also the biggest screen in the world to feature Dolby Atmos. It is among the best cinemas in Copenhagen and is usually the go-to place for cinephiles in the Danish capital. Imperial is owned by Nordisk Film and is located near Vesterport Station. It has undergone several renewals, the latest of which were completed in September 2013 when Dolby Atmos was installed. It is one of the only big cinemas in Copenhagen which can still project 70 mm film, as well as the only one which can project 4K in 3D.

The Lake Pavilion (Danish: Søpavillonen) is a historic building at The Lakes in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Situated on the north side of Gyldenløvesgade, on the embankment that separates Peblinge Lake and Sankt Jørgens Lake, it was completed in 1895 to a Historicist design by Vilhelm Dahlerup and listed in 1984.

Palads Teatret (the Palads Cinema), also known simply as the Palads, is a cinema operated by Nordisk Film in Copenhagen, Denmark. It offers a wide selection of films in its 17 auditoriums, more than in any other Danish cinema.

Planetarium (formerly Tycho Brahe Planetarium) is located at the southern end of the lake Skt. Jørgens Sø in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was designed by MAA Knud Munk (1936-2016) and opened on November 1, 1989.

Martin's Church (Danish: Martinskirken), located on Martinsvej in Frederiksberg, just west of St. Jørgen's Lake, is one of the only two church buildings in the Evangelical Lutheran Free Church in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built in 1877 and refurbished in 1998–99. The other church is Gratiakirken (grace church) in Aarhus.[1]

Skt. Jørgens Gymnasium (1858–1991) was a Danish high school located in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. It was established in 1858 as Frk. Jessens Forberedelsesskole and changed name to J.V. Jessens Latin- og Realskole in 1889. After yet a name change in 1904 to Henrik Madsens [Latin- og Real]Skole it was taken over by the state in 1919 and changed name to Skt. Jørgens Gymnasium. Girls were admitted from 1950.In the first half of the twentieth century it was considered an elite school with outstanding teachers.

The Danish Arts Foundation (Danish: Statens Kunstfond) is the principal Danish government funded arts foundation founded by a special Law on 27 May 1964.Statens Kunstfond alongside the da:Statens Kunstråd (English sometimes State Arts Council now Danish Agency for Culture) allocates funds provided by the Ministry of Culture (da:Kulturministeriet). It is overseen and administered by the da:Kulturstyrelsen (Danish Cultural Authority) which is an administrative unit of the Ministry of Culture. Danish literature is supported both by the Statens Kunstfond and a larger amount directly by the Ministry of Culture.In 2014 the Danish Arts Council and the Danish Arts Foundation merged to form one new body, to be known as the Danish Arts Foundation.

Dansk Sprognævn ([ˌtænˀsk ˈspʁɔwˌnewˀn] (listen) "Danish Language Council") is the official regulatory body of the Danish language as a part of the Danish Ministry of Culture and is located in Bogense. It was established in 1955. The committee has three main objectives: to follow the development of the language to answer inquiries about the Danish language and its use to update the official Danish dictionary, RetskrivningsordbogenThe working members of the committee follow written and broadcast media, read books to keep track of new words and record their usage. New words which have appeared enough in print and speech to be considered notable are added to Retskrivningsordbogen, which all government institutions and schools are obliged by law to follow. The committee receives some 14,000 inquiries by phone or mail each year about the Danish language, half of them from private companies, but also by private citizens. Dansk Sprognævn cooperates on a daily basis with its equivalents in the other Scandinavian countries, the Swedish and Norwegian Language Councils, to make sure that the three Mainland Scandinavian languages, which are more or less mutually intelligible, do not diverge more than necessary from one another.

The Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces (Danish: Slots- og Kulturstyrelsen) is an agency under the aegis of the Danish Ministry of Culture. The agency carries out the cultural policies of the Danish government within the visual and performing arts, music, literature, museums, historical and cultural heritage, broadcasting, libraries and all types of printed and electronic media. It works internationally in all fields, and increased internationalisation of Danish arts and cultural life is a top priority. The Danish Agency for Culture was founded on 1 January 2002 when the Danish Heritage Agency, the Danish Arts Agency and the Danish Agency for Libraries and Media merged. The Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces was founded on 1 January 2016 by a fusion of the Danish Agency for Culture and the Danish agency Styrelsen for Slotte & Kulturejendomme.
