The Schuylkill River Bridge (also known as the Diamond Run Viaduct) is a bridge that carries the Pennsylvania Turnpike across the Schuylkill River. The length of the bridge is 1,224 feet (373 m). The bridge was first built in 1954 and has been replaced around the summer of 1999 along with the Diamond Run Viaduct in order to accommodate future travel needs. The bridge was improved with a $34.5 million budget. The bridge was widened as part of the general turnpike widening project that took place between the Norristown and Valley Forge exits.

Poplar Lane, also known as "Ballygomingo," is a historic home located near King of Prussia in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The original house was built in 1758, and expanded in 1816 and about 1821. It is a two-story, stucco over stone building. It features a portico.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Hughes Park station is a SEPTA rapid transit station in Upper Merion Township, Pennsylvania. It serves the Norristown High Speed Line (Route 100) and is located at Yerkes Road and Crooked Lane. All trains stop at Hughes Park. Trains known as the Hughes Park Express terminate here and operate to 69th Street, skipping certain stops along the way. The station lies 11.0 track miles from 69th Street Terminal.

Upper Merion Township is a township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 28,395 at the 2010 U.S. Census. Located 16 miles (26 km) from Philadelphia, it consists of the villages of Gulph Mills, King of Prussia, Swedeland, Swedesburg, and portions of Radnor and Wayne. The westernmost part of the township comprises the largest part of the 1,300-acre (5 km2) Valley Forge National Historical Park. The township is the home of the King of Prussia mall. King of Prussia also contains a major office park hosting firms such as Lockheed Martin and GlaxoSmithKline. The name Merion originates with the county of Merioneth in north Wales. Merioneth is an English-language translation of the Welsh Meirionnydd, itself named after Meirchion (or Meirion), grandson of Cunedda Wledig (b. ca. 380 A.D.), King of North Wales.

Bridgeport is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, 18 mi (29 km) north of Philadelphia on the Schuylkill River. Former industries included paper, flour, cotton, woolen mills, steel works, and brickyards. Bridgeport is 6 mi (9.7 km) east of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. In 1777, during the American Revolutionary War, General George Washington and the Continental Army passed through Bridgeport on their way to their winter encampment in Valley Forge. 3,097 people lived in Bridgeport in 1900; 3,860 in 1910; and 5,904 in 1940. The population was 4,554 at the 2010 census.

Gulph Mills station is a SEPTA rapid transit station in Gulph Mills, Pennsylvania. It serves the Norristown High Speed Line (Route 100) and is officially located at Trinity Road and Crest Lane in Upper Merion Township, however another parking lot can be found across the tracks on South Gulph Road. This parking lot is only accessible for northbound drivers along South Gulph Road, though. All trains stop at Gulph Mills. Transfers are available for buses to the King of Prussia mall. The station lies 10.3 track miles from 69th Street Terminal. There is off-street parking available at this station.

Gulph Creek is a tributary of the Schuylkill River in southeastern Pennsylvania. It is approximately six miles long and flows in an easterly direction. It passes through Tredyffrin, Radnor, and Upper Merion Townships, and the borough of West Conshohocken. It also passes through the village of Gulph Mills and goes past Hanging Rock alongside Route 320. Gulph Creek originates at an elevation of 410 feet in Strafford and is named after the over 200 foot deep "gulph" the creek flows through after taking an abrupt turn north after flowing in a east-northeast direction.It is one of four watersheds in Radnor Township, the others being, Ithan Creek, Darby Creek, and Meadowbrook Run

Gulph Mills is an unincorporated community in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It is served by the Upper Merion Area School District. There is a station on the Norristown High Speed Line. A grist mill built here in 1747 supplied flour to the Continental Army during their stay at Valley Forge. General George Washington's army encamped in the area for a week before departing for winter quarters at Valley Forge. Washington used the area as an ammunition depot during the autumn of 1777. The encampment is marked by a memorial erected by the Sons of the American Revolution in 1893. Another attraction here is the "Hanging Rock", a major distraction on Pennsylvania Route 320. Hanging Rock reportedly holds importance as a place by which George Washington led his troops. PennDOT has looked to remove Hanging Rock, but preservationists have battled such action since the 1970s. The Bridge in Upper Merion Township and Hanging Rock are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Bridge in Upper Merion Township is a historic stone arch bridge located at Gulph Mills in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The bridge was built in 1789. It has a single 20-foot-long (6.1 m) span with a width of 34 feet (10.4 m), and an overall length of 100-foot (30 m). The bridge crosses Gulph Creek.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The Bridge in Upper Mention is, as of August 2021, the fifth oldest bridge in use in the United States. In 2021, the bridge structure was repaired and rehabilitated by contractor J.D. Eckman, with 100% funding from PennDOT.[1]

Globe Knitting Mills, also known as the Rambo & Regar Globe Knitting Mills, are two historic textile mill buildings located at Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. They were built in 1898, and were referred to as the "Main (Knitting) Building" and the "Oxidizing Building / Dye House." They are constructed of red brick with heavy timber framing and Italianate style design elements. The main building is three stories tall and rectangular in plan.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

DeKalb Street station, formerly known as King Manor station, is a SEPTA rapid transit station in Bridgeport, Pennsylvania. It serves the Norristown High Speed Line (Route 100) and is located on Ford Street near DeKalb Street (U.S. Route 202), although SEPTA gives the address as Ford Street and Crooked Lane. All trains stop at DeKalb Street. The station lies 12.3 track miles from 69th Street Terminal. SEPTA changed the station name on September 5, 2010. The platform reflects the new name while the street sign retains the King Manor name.

West Conshohocken is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,320 at the 2010 census. Its sister community is Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, located across the Schuylkill River. Montgomery County's seat, Norristown, is located approximately two miles north of, and across the river from, West Conshohocken.
