George School is a private Quaker (Society of Friends) boarding and day high school located on a rural campus in Middletown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania (Newtown postal address). It was founded at its present site in 1893, and has grown from a single building (a still standing Quaker meeting house) to over 20 academic, athletic, and residential buildings. Besides the usual college preparatory courses, including an International Baccalaureate program, the school features several distinct programs deriving from its Quaker heritage. These include community service requirements, an emphasis on social justice and environmental concerns, required arts courses, and community-based decision making.

George School station is a defunct railroad station at George School, a private Quaker boarding and day high school in Middletown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The original station was built by the Philadelphia, Newtown and New York Railroad in 1893 and burned in 1905. It was replaced with a station that was moved from Huntingdon Valley, further down the Newtown Branch. That station was demolished in 1971. A cinder 'platform' was used as a flagstop by both the Reading Railroad and SEPTA Regional Rail. SEPTA closed the station and several others in 1983 when train service was suspended.

Newtown Creek is a tributary, rising near Stoop Road in Newtown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of the Delaware River watershed and is located entirely in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The Newtown Creek Bridge over Centre Avenue was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Twining Farm, also known as the David and Elizabeth Twining Farm, is a historic home and farm located at Newtown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The stone farmhouse was built in two stages. They are a 2+1⁄2-story, stone eastern section, with a later three-bay, 2+1⁄2-story western addition built in 1832. A frame wing and bow window were added about 1940. Also on the property are a contributing stable, chicken house, and bank barn complex. The farm was featured in three of four Newtown farmscape paintings by noted artist Edward Hicks (1780-1849). Hicks had resided for 10 years at the farm as the foster son of Elizabeth and David Twining.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Newtown Friends School is a coeducational prekindergarten through eighth grade Quaker independent school founded in 1948 and located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Though its name and address indicate it is in Newtown Township, it is physically located in Middletown Township. Newtown Friends' campus adjoins with that of George School. Newtown Friends has one or two sections of sixteen to eighteen students at every grade level. Enrollment for the 2019–20 school year is 250 students. The curriculum at Newtown Friends includes a full range of subject areas including language arts, math, social studies, Latin (grades 5 through 8) or Spanish (grades PreK through 8), science, library, music and drama, art, computer and physical education. Learning at Newtown Friends takes place through a combination of hands-on experiences, group and individual projects, interdisciplinary approaches, as well as through the more traditional methods. Newtown Friends has a very active intergenerational program with Pennswood, a neighboring Quaker continuing life-care facility. The community service program is built into the curriculum and provides opportunities for all sixth through eighth graders to go out into the community on a regular basis. Community service in the earlier grades occurs through specific projects undertaken within the school which benefit outside agencies. Newtown Friends is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program. In fall 2000, Newtown Friends opened a new library media center and five new Lower School classrooms. In summer 2006, NFS did major renovations in its Upper School wing resulting in a new science laboratory and classroom, as well as improved spaces for five other classrooms. Newtown Friends School is accredited by the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools (PAIS).

St. Mary Medical Center, is a non-profit hospital located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. The hospital has a Level II Trauma Center and employs over 700 physicians and 1,100 volunteers. The hospital focuses on non-invasive treatments, adult and pediatric emergency services, rehabilitation and health and wellness programs. St. Mary Medical Center merged with Catholic Health East in 2013 and is currently a part of Trinity Health.

Newtown Friends Meetinghouse and Cemetery is a historic Quaker meetinghouse and cemetery in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1817, and is a two-story, stuccoed stone building with a gable roof. It measures 60 feet by 40 feet, 6 bays long and 3 bays deep. A one-story porch was added in 1866, and the second floor was added in 1900. Also on the property is a contributing horse shed, built in 1819. Adjacent to the meeting house is the contributing cemetery.The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Newtown station is a defunct railroad station in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Built by the Reading Railroad, it later served SEPTA Regional Rail's Fox Chase/Newtown Line. SEPTA closed the station in 1983.

Newtown Historic District is a national historic district located in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 293 contributing buildings in the borough of Newtown. They date from the late-17th century to the early-20th century and are reflective of a number of popular architectural styles including Greek Revival, Late Victorian, Federal, Queen Anne, and Gothic Revival. Notable buildings include the Chapman Buckman House and mill, Hart House, Newtown Hardware House, Keller Building, Jenks House (1828), White Hall Hotel, Temperance House (1774), Smock House (1792), the Brick Hotel, St. Luke's Church, LaRue Apartments (1838), and the Edward Hicks House. Located in the district and listed separately are the Half-Moon Inn and Friends Meeting House. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, with two boundary increases in 1986.

The Godwin Building is an historic building in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Built in 1868 as a bank, the building is now a law office.

Half-Moon Inn, also known as the Court Inn and Thorton's Tavern, is a historic inn and tavern located at Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The original 1+1⁄2-story, stone and frame building was built in 1733. Subsequent additions occurred in 1740, 1757, and 1792. The portion at 101 Court Street is a 2+1⁄2-story, 3 bay, stone structure. It was restored in 1965 by the Newtown Historic Association. The portion at 105 Court Street has a stuccoed stone first story, with a timber frame second story added between 1825 and 1840. The building housed an inn and tavern until 1818, during which time Newtown served as the county seat. It houses the headquarters of the Newtown Historic Association and is open as a local history museum. The holdings include a special collection on early American folk painter, Edward Hicks (1780-1849).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Clark Nature Center is a nature trail park within the Newtown Township, Pennsylvania, USA, just off Durham road (Route 413), USA. It was established in 1997, on land originally bought from the Leni Lenape Indians in 1683 by William Penn. The park covers an area of approximately 50.6 acres (20.5 ha), with a mixture of dirt and wood chipped nature trails. Two seasonal creeks run through the park. Park benches have been sited at various view points along the trail. Local wildlife includes wild turkey, deer, and occasionally foxes can be seen. The Newtown Creek, situated to the west across Swamp road, is a tributary of the Neshaminy Creek, running north to south, is the western boundary between the borough of Newtown and the township of Newtown.
